  1. Avengers Podium: Hot Toys Black Widow: Hot Toys Mark VI: Hot Toys Nick Fury:
  2. and finally Iron Man mark vi (the boy is here for reference and no relation to me!) : a few Hot Toys and Avengers (non-movie) Legends and Marvel Universe:
  3. Ok guys Pavilion pics first, then a few Hot Toys and Avengers stuff then the Avengers Legends. Didn't take many pics of the Hot Toys and general Avengers stuff. I've used some photos from Marvel HK Toys as well so hopefully this will give you guys the best possible experience and you don't need to flip back and forth between here and whatever 'other' website you're going to. Yeah I'm a hard core Toynewsi.com and Marvellous News supporter! lol When walking up to the mall the first thing you see that signifies there's some serious Avengers #$@# going on here is this giant Mark VII statue - its about 2x life size so this Iron Man is 12 feet high or so: Then we see the Mark IV(I believe?) statue: Followed by Cap: and Thor:
  4. I used to be in Toronto - I remember the Walmarts there were kinda crappy unless you were nuts about Legends like me. I'd take these Saturday insane Walmart runs driving to Mississauga to Downtown to Scarborough and finishing off in Richmond Hill hitting about iirc 6 Walmarts or so. Btw we should be getting these in about 2-3 weeks time. At which time I'll do review here and ONLY here! HAHAHA take that other toy sites! Heck mb I'll even buy a stupid webcam and do a video review for you all. Lord Marvel swiped your pics for the Ark yesterday. So they will probably end up on the other sites. lol Well at least I'm given credit so that's cool but maybe for this next batch I'll put up a watermark or some #$@# like that cuz I want people to come to this board! lol I have some more pics today but I'm a bit tired now so I'll put them up in awhile as it's like 1am right now and I need some zzz's

  6. Don't worry I'll try to take even better pictures in about 7 or 8 hours time and I'll show you the whole pavilion. :D
  7. Don't put it together if it's not what you want, just wait for Thunderball and Madam Masque. He won't be able to come apart once you snap him into place. See if there's a board member who'll trade with you. Or open all but those 2 and hunt for them incl. ToysRUs if you must.
  8. Wow, before SDCC? That's a surprise, that could mean Hasbro might *cough*should*cough* release some info about them in the near future. Awesome! Well that's just according to my source. They could be wrong but so far I think the dates that I've gotten have been spot on. If you remember back when I did the review on HRoML Wave 1 I said that we'd get info on these in April and lucky it wasn't an April's Fool lol but most of their dates were spot on. I also said when you guys got wave 1 Stateside that wave 2 was already finished and waiting for the final sign off to ship and it shipped almost same time as wave 1. So I'm trusting my sources for the moment.
  9. Ok I've bribed my gf so we'll head back over there tomorrow sometime and I'll have all the shots of the Avengers Pavilion as well as more shots of the figures. Someone here owes me a lunch! lol I'll also try to get a few pics of the Hot Toys and MU stuff as well.
  10. Can't wait for wave 3. They should be out here in Hong Kong around end of June is what I'm hearing.
  11. It's funny I recall seeing a Black Widow somewhere awhile ago but I guess they decided against releasing the figure in this promo pavilion. Weird though if u ask me. But imo, the Hulk looks like THE DEFINITIVE Hulk, well for me anyway. He was bad ass.
  12. I forgot to metion there looks like a new trailer is showing in that part of the display pavillion. I'll see if it is new and try to get some video of it as well for you all. You should all see the hype for it here - even though half or more of the people have no idea what the Avengers are. From what I can recall there was about 2000-3000 sf of Avenger stuff including statues and #$@# like that, I'd thought that there would be more stateside than here. But yeah I have an account on fwoosh but I dont' like it over - it's too convoluted over there imo. over here even though it's smaller but it's more homely to me and who knows maybe one day we'll be better than Fwoosh! Toynews has my heart! lol.
  13. You're welcome dude, I guess maybe I'll run back out there and get some more pics for you all. So I guess if there's a Thor without sleeves then the 2nd wave will most likely be mark VII Iron Man, New Costume Thor, Black Widow, maybe a Loki Soldier Grunt Kree/Skrull thingie (hopefully!) and whatother 2 figures? Maybe another Nick Fury? Would be great if we got an Agent Coulson. There's a whole Avenger crazy assed display here with Hot Toys and Marvel Universe too, I'll try to get those pics next time when I drop by. Btw way back here http://forums.marvelousnews.com/index.php?showtopic=2063716 I said they'd be here April so I'm thinking my street dates are pretty good
  14. Actually it looks better than the movie one we got imo. I'll try to head back out there this weekend and maybe get some more pics for you all if no one else has any new pics on the Avenger Legends.
  15. Now for the news on this line. This is the first assortment so the totally new sculpts here would be Loki, Cap, Hulk and Hawkeye. The repaints/ mods would be Thor and Iron Man. I've compared this Thor to my Thor Legends Thor and it is exactly the same except the head sculpt and if u look in the pics u can see the hammer is held in his hand by putty showing the same thoughtlessness as in the original movie Thor. As for Iron Man it's just a straight repaint if we can call 2 more splotches of silver a repaint. Looks like Wave 1 has 6 and there are no variants. Each comes with a piece of the stand they are on. They shoulda made a baf imo but an Avengers stand is better than nothing I guess. It also appears that Loki's helmet comes off. If I were to guess I'd say there would be a second wave seeing how there's no Black Widow, but if there was then who else would they have in it? Mark VII Iron Man since as Joss Whedon puts it "...triangle is a$$ " I guess maybe a sleeveless Thor since he changes outfits in this film, but then who else would you have to make the line make sense enough that it could sell? Sorry couldn't get more pics as I was having dinner with my girl and I came across this unexpectedly.
  16. Hi guys bman here again breaking news with the Avengers Legends. There is NO Black Widow as I have seen so far. I will try to get my hands on them asap. Anyway the BAF is lame if I can call it that. It's a raised platform where u can position them. Let me know what you think.
  17. They are supposed to come out here in April. (Hong Kong that is). I'll keep you all posted.
  18. Well he's almost 8 inches, while I think that's big it's not out of proportion imo. Colossus is 7 feet 6 inches in armored form afterall. If any of you have the ML Sasquatch or Hulk Legends Wendigo he's about their size.
  19. Sorry to break the pics down into 3 posts. It wont let me put them all into one post, not sure why.
  20. Ok I finally got around to doing this comparison. First off let me apologize I only have 1 pic of my XMC/ML Colossus as I can't seem to remember where I put my loose one and I don't want to open the one I have that's moc. Face: MS Colossus wins hands down. The XMC/ML one looks dated and constipated. Torso: MS Colossus wins as the joints are better disguised and his costume is a piece of art. Lots of shading and cool wrinkles. Arms: MS Colossus wins - not even close. I'm a fan of the John Byrne era when Colossus grooves were fewer. Legs and boots: Again the MS one wins as the sculpt is just a piece of art. Accessories: MS Colossus wins - he has an interconnecting piece where if you get all the MS X-men they form a danger room diorama and his shirt is removable - too cool! Finally Tally: MS Colossus 6 - 0 I've included pics of some background dioramas I'm working on for my figures as well I may mass produce them - let me know what you guys think!
  21. Absolutely amazing figure, I just got this and will do a duel again with the ML one like my MS and RoML Thor.
  22. I agree, we should wait till they release it as most companies make changes before the final product is released.
