  1. I cut the paper off of a garbage bag twist tie and use the wire to jam into knee joints then push it in with a slim knife. For hips I took a ponytail band and tied it, cut the ends short and tuck the knot behind the butt plate, makes it super tight and almost invisible.
  2. http://cgi.ebay.com/TOYBIZ-MARVEL-FANTASTI...#ht_1573wt_1137
  3. Considering they're using the red hulk Baf body for the green hulk that is a good price.
  4. It can be anything from price to condition, anything. My worst packing job, I got 2 figures in a box about 10 by 10 inches no padding at all both figures rolled into a ball with limbs twisted and heads backwards luckily in good shape after bouncing around like that. Another listed as good condition I got it it was covered in a brown film that washed off.
  5. How are these paints? Are they as scratch resistant as model master? One site mentioned to wait 4 hours between coats for the Pactra one is this true? Just found a site for cheap vallejo model and game color paint. This stuff is supposed to be good right? I need my stuff scratch proof (since I sell most of my customs)like model master can provide but the prices are too high. Edit Just got some Vallejo since every google search had people saying it was so great but this crap won't stick. Hour and a half after one thinned coat rubs off just from rubbing it. Even the walmart crap is better than this. I'm amazed I haven't found one complaint about this stuff. EDIT 2 got some formula P3 that Jin saotome recommended but didn't find it to be as scratch proof as he did. Tested on an unwashed, unsanded hulk movie arm scratches off with fingernail and then tried my favorite paint model master and in half the time was scratch proof on that same piece. Plan to get some MM clear brush on acrylic since spray can turn foggy on moist days. EDIT 3 Clean and sanded formula p3 was better and one coat of clear makes it good. To save the most time and money stick with model master.
  6. 3. McFarlane/Campbell Spider-Man (SM Classics 12). I got mine at retail, but he usually goes for about $50.00 plus on Ebay. There was one on the classifieds for cheap for a while.
  7. Hold on guys,, dont jump the gun! Its right around the block. Also,,, I can hook up anyone missing a TRUS. Just pay shipping and an extra $2 for gas ;-D I wasn't suggesting to buy it but some people are nuts about this. I remember the nemesis series and a blackbolt in package went for $70 at one point. A month later you couldn't give that stuff away. Are the variants coming out at the same time?
  8. There's a valkyrie on ebay from china right now. http://cgi.ebay.com/MARVEL-LEGENDS-2-PACK-...0#ht_500wt_1154
  9. Beta ray bill and Dr. strange have the best capes, soft and light.
  10. I used it a month barehanded and now if it touches my bareskin for 5 minutes now my eye get red and swollen that night and I get a weird rash on my left knuckle that stays for weeks even without using it again. When dry it's safe so breathing sand dust should be ok. I tried aves apoxie, fixit and magic putty and they all do it to me. Fixit is definitely worth the extra money.
  11. That's a major size difference. Hasbro should re-release BAF as completed figures.
  12. This one? http://cooltoyreview.com/2010-San-Diego-Co...ook/image36.asp
  13. Best brands model master, tamiya (never thin with water and avoid their blacks and greys), citadel, vallejo never tried these 2 though. myatomic.com is now the cheapest site but are out of stock alot. Always use acrylic and to help with scratch proofing I use 220-400 sandpaper on all moving parts.
  14. Are MU figures selling? Every store in my area (PA) has them on sale for 6-7.
  15. This ebay sale says it's 3 3/4 inch but that body looks like the 6 inch 2 pack Iron man, I don't follow the MU line so what is this? http://cgi.ebay.com/Marvel-Universe-Iron-m...0#ht_500wt_1154 EDIT looks like the guy used a pic of a custom so this whole post was pointless... :( http://www.toycutter.com/2009/10/iron-man-...ova-action.html
  16. I've never worked with a marvel universe but I would guess boil and pop would work. Unless you're removing from the shoulder then you'd have to crack the chest. I've only use 6 inch figures but figured I'd answer since this board is slow. Try here. http://www.jinsaotomesdangeroustoys.com/guides.html
  17. Ask him what's it worth to you then double it, laugh maniacally, repeat for the the other person.
  18. Thanks I'll try that stuff next time. I use gloves now but just being near it my eyes start to feel irritated. I'm surprised that all the tutorial site I went to says use aves since it's the best but no one else had this problem apparently.
  19. Does anyone else break out from this. When I first started using it the first month was fine but then my hand s and eyes started getting red bumps. After taking a small break my hands don't break out but my eyes do immediately, even when wearing safety glasses. May need scuba goggles. Anyone else have this happen? I've tried apoxie and there fixit sculpts both do it.
  20. Which spider-man is that you have there in the front? That's mcfarlane spiderman best one ever. http://marvelousnews.com/database/gv.php?m...600&start=0
  21. I had them all, they're all awesome. Series 3 unmasked is my favorite but he's out of scale but his black tint to the costume and arms huge arms look good. Astonishing unmasked is a little too skinny but has the best face ever sculpted. Always liked the unmasked versions more. Brown suit has perfect size and great sculpt, it's really up to you.
  22. What do you mean you found it but are still waiting for it? There's been some 6 in suitcase iron man from china on ebay for $100. also which prototype are are you talking about. The canadian packaging had a mark 4 on the back, anyone find those?
