  1. so does anyone know if that was misinformation that they are going to be delayed until 2011?
  2. It was my understanding that Hasbro said they were going to try and release them in 2011 now? Was that misinformation?
  3. Soo do you guys think that the Marvel Legends 2 packs that were announced last year will ever come out at this point, or do you think we are at the end of ML?
  4. damn dude, thanks for the reply. Common Hasbro... are you seriously going to wait 2 years to release these figures?????
  5. I can't view either of the links... Is this accurate they aren't going to release the new Marvel Legends 2 Packs until 2011???? What is this Starcraft 2? or did Neca buy Hasbro? Can anyone verify this is true?
  6. I don't know how anyone could honestly like the 3.75 inch figures more then the 6 inch figures unless they have been collecting GI Joes and have all kinds of playsets and stuff. Based on the figure themselves there really is no comparison.
  7. Hey everyone! I was just wondering what you guys think the future will hold for Marvel Legends. With the announcement of the new two packs it looks like they aren't dead for good yet. Do you guys think that Marvel Legends will continue on after these two packs or do you think this is it? I mean we really are not getting many new 6 inch Marvel figures this year it appears. What do you guys think is going to happen to the line? Today on Ebay I did a plain search for Marvel Legends and there were almost 10,000 listings. While Marvel Universe only had 3,000. I also noticed that it seems the price overall on Ebay for Marvel Legends loose figures appears to be going down and a lot of people seem to be selling their collections and moving on. Now I know you guys are like me and don't collect to make money or to sell your figures but do you guys think that the value of Marvel Legends will increase? MOC collections value seem to have steadily increased every year, but do you guys think they will continue to increase in value, or steadily decline as the 3.3/4 inch figures take over? Do you think that the Marvel Legends loose figures will continue to decline in value? Any predictions? Let's discuss!
  8. wowwwwwwwww, awesome FINALLY. So it looks like the HULK, Warpath and that might be Winter Soilder. Awesome I love that hulk he looks like a green version of that BAF red hulk. That galactus looks great too I wonder if it will be better then the toybiz BAF version.
  9. Man it is tough when toyfair comes out and it doesn't even mention marvel legends all they talk about is the marvel universe figures. I don't have anything against the marvel universe figures but I mean common they cannot be compared to marvel legends. Marvel Legends is the best toy line in my opinion ever made. It really sucks that they are not even talking about it anymore. And also do we even know which figures will be released with those 3 figs that won if in fact they are ever released?
  10. Hello everybody! I just wanted to discuss the Marvel Legends 2 packs that are supposed to come out this year. I still haven't heard anything about them since the voting went on last year. I assumed that we would be hearing something about them soon but so far since the polls ended and they showed which figures won I haven't heard anything whatsoever. Does anyone have any kind of an update as per their status and whether or not these figures will actually be released? If they are going to be released does anyone know when approximately?
  11. Now I never said that I didn't own any Riddick. When the marvel universe figures first came out I bought the x-force wolverine because well I love wolverine. I wanted to like these figures I really did, I tried my hardest to like these figures because I love to collect and they are the only thing available right now at my local toy stores. I can understand Andorian that the marvel universe figures can fit in with other scales and that is I am sure a big reason as to why many of you are collecting them. I am just saying that as far as I see it they are way overpriced. If they sold for the same price as many of the gi-joes or star wars figures I would possibly consider picking up a couple more of them but as long as their price stays this high I am not going to even look twice at these figures. I am also trying to help you understand as to why many of us marvel legends collectors are not going to switch over to an inferior product that is overpriced.
  12. I read these forums all the time and I just had to create an account for this one. Are you guys serious about Marvel Universe? I mean are you honestly serious? These figures sell for more than Marvel Legends sold for in their prime. How can you honestly tell me that every time you fork out 8$ for a 3 inch figure that looks like something out of a McDonald's happy meal that you don't feel even slightly ripped off. It probably cost them less than a dollar to turn these figures out and you are going to pay 8$. It just is not reasonable to charge that much for a product that should be sold for 3$ or 4$. These figures aside from secret wars come with no comic books, they have basically no articulation in comparison to marvel legends, they don't come with dioramas, and they are outrageously overpriced. I don't believe you can sit here and tell me that you have no inkling as to why we may be even a little upset over this line. "Most" of the marvel legends figures can stand up on their own with almost statue quality poses. The marvel universe figures can barely stand. I don't know if you come from rich families and have absolutely no concept of the value of money, but I work hard for my money just as I am sure many of you do and I think we all know when something just simply is not worth it or when we are being ripped off or high balled and this I think we can all agree is inarguably one of those times.
