  1. there was a guy on another site who showed the Assemble Hulk against the current MU one. its like comparing say MU Juggernaut to say MU Thor sizewise
  2. Walmart here FINALLY after 6 months restocked MU. With....the Hercules wave. Lol
  3. Been awhile since I could post pics so I thought I'd share a few of my latest customs: Bushwacker with interchangeable arm, Malekith the accursed, Ares, and Mephisto..
  4. Big thanks to fellow board member,RichardC, for the awesome Christmas gift of an astral Dr.Strange. Many thanks...
  5. That's an awesome Ares. There have been so many good ones but this is the first I've really wanted to do. Plan on changing it up a bit but had to thank you for the inspiration and the great job.
  6. Nothing in Northwestern Bama. finally saw newest comic pks(surfer/strange) other than that we have one walmart sporadically stoking Kang wave but the other walmart and target arent stoking MU. Ill keep an eye out for you though.
  7. Small haul this weekend. Renegades Scarlett for my Maria Hill custom, Finbul and Warg from Hobbit line so the Warg could be my MU standin for Loki's son Fenris, and a marvel minimates Daredevil/Kingpin set. Started dabbling in minimates with MU so stagnant right now
  8. Checked local store{don't know why I bother} while shopping for a coat for my daughter. Of course they can stock new stuff from wrestling, Transformers, and Turtles{saw Metal Head and DogPound or whatever they're called} but never fear MU will not get stocked. Saw a few of the comic packs from the IM/Mandarin wave as well as one Dr. Strange and one Gladiator.
  9. I love Skylanders! or I should say that I THINK I love them... I haven't actually played the game except for the demo in the stores. But I love the concept and the characters are pretty cool. I really wanted to get the game and a bunch of figures.. but I soon realized that it would be too expensive for me to get into right now But I had no idea that they made rare variants and chases Yeah, my daughter is big into the Skylanders and I find myself enjoying the hunt for the various characters for her since there is no MU in retail to speak of. Just spent like 200 to get her the Giants game and a bunch of the characters to have for her Xmas.
  10. Almost done, just some minor tweaking but here's one I've wanted for awhile...Titania
  11. Favorite villain of mine that I highly doubt will ever see MU love....Dreadknight. Now just gotta find a horse and some bat wings to build his mount.
  12. Saw the Target 8pk Avengers set today. Passed on it due to price vs. my current wallet situation. Might get it should it hit some kind of clearance just to have it MOC.
  13. No kidding. By the way, did you find them at Target or Walmart? I've only seen them show up at TRU here in Huntsville, and they had already sold the Scarlet Witches. Found em at Muscle Shoals Walmart. I'm in the western corner of Bama. Got two Wallys. The Muscle Shoals one is usually the better over the Florence one.
  14. Finally found wave 19 in my area. PIcked up a Punisher{to replace mine who broke at the arm swivel } and a She Hulk to "maybe" use as a base for a Titania custom. Left the others but did stash a Juggy/Colossus pack if I decide I want it bad enough. First time seeing it in the wild too. Oh..and it is a HUGE dang tease Hasbro to have that Antman comic pack advertised on the back of the Juggy/Colossus one. That aint right...C'MON MAN!!
  15. Reminds me a couple of weeks ago I was in walmart and a kid about 7 or 8 was looking for some figures. He told his mom that he needed some villians. He had everything on the shelf. He finally found an xforce 3 pack and relunctly bought since he told his mon he would pretend they were bad guys. Love these stories, reminds me of when I was a kid. I always had to start a collection like MU with a hero AND a villain. Then usually for every hero I had to have a villain. But this has been the case since I can remember. The first Star Wars figures had only Vader and a Stormtrooper versus Han, Luke, Leia, Chewy, and Obi Wan, R2 D2, and C3PO. Then there were the Joes where there were like 13 Joes in the first wave with only a Cobra trooper and Cobra officer. Man, that really steemed me even as a kid. On to my haul for the day: an old toybiz Fantastic Four Terrax the tamer from Amazon. Really cool figure, perfect scale for MU, and for an old figure he has really good articulation. Head, shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees.
  16. Saw the Avenger's figure cube at Walmart this morning with loads of wave 4. Picked up a Fury and hopefully can pick up some Chitauri{yes, I know they suck}later for army building
  17. really nice job there. Can't wait to see the grey costume later.
  18. Still a WIP but really liking how it's turning out so I had to share: Maestro Hulk{sorry bout crappy cell picture}
  19. Also still looking for a Sif. I have one but for some reason my girlfriend who doesn't collect Marvel figures REALLY wants one so if anyone finds any let me know. Thanks.
  20. While I'm still not satisfied with the head{really want to use the Phoenix/Bl.Widow one}. Here's my take on Hope Summers
  21. Finally broke down and bought the X Factor boxset. Not a big Xmen fan but Angel is a really sweet figure. Iceman minus the belt is cool. Apocalypse though mine has some paint issues has a better paint scheme than the single one. Sinister I still prefer the comic pack version. Cyclops is well..Cyclops. And as for Jean..well she's being used for two customs, a Hope Summers and a Titania{when I can get another She Hulk body}.
