  1. Cyclops sleeps on the couch when Emma gets mad at him. In his own HQ. And the X-kids come home drunk and laugh at him. This is canon, in Uncanny X-Men. What a tremendous leader.
  2. MOC for $150 on Amazon Edit: Nevermind, that's someone trying to scam you into buying the old 1990's Toy Biz one.
  3. Cool look for Cyclops, funny to see how he'd look in the black and silver. Cyclops is too much of an Emma-whipped dweeb to ever be in X-Force, though!
  4. Onyx, Any interest in doing an Emma Frost head sculpt? I ask because she's a favorite of mine, I hated her ML figure, and it seems MU might not get around to it for awhile as they haven't even got Sue Storm planned yet. Thanks, gonna look into some of your other heads for purchase after the holidays, I've never really been into customizing my own stuff but I'm a decent painter and am getting the custom bug. Have a nice area in the basement I could use to start getting into the hobby. Your stuff is incredible, man. Edit: Cyclops and Ares ----
  5. Yeah, there's two World War Hulks. All silver shoulder pad with faint brown markings. All brown shoulder pad with faint silver marking. It's really noticeable when you put them side by side. There were 2 of each at Target and they were distinctly painted, not just a "lighter shade of brown" or anything.
  6. I found all 6 figures from Wave 12 (2011 Wave 1) and the WWHulk brown shoulder variant at Target, marked at $8.99. Girl at the counter hooked them up for $6.99 when I told her Toys R Us had them for that. No manager, no questions asked. I just shut my mouth and smiled. And like I feared, both Hulks' right leg immediately fell off as taking them out of package! And the clip for the shield was bent. Gonna exchange 'em.
  7. Found Iron Man 2020, Dark Hawkeye, and Yellowjacket at TRU for $7.49 each. They also had all the new Marvel Legends 2-Packs. Marvel Select blows them away so I'll stick with those for "big" display pieces. Totally passed on Wolvie/Cap 2-pack. The Wolverine just looks so dull and "meh" and the Cap (featuring a sparkly mesh chest) isn't bad but the Secret Wars release is better and more accurate. Will grab repainted Thor off Ebay. The Iron Man with it is just a terribly lazy color repaint (and not even a really noticeable one, IMO) and not worth the price. Sentry/Spidey was an easy buy. An actual helpful TRU employee found Dark Hawkeye and Yellowjacket hidden for me, as well as climbed up and found a sealed 2-pack case. Haven't seen Thanos and Constrictor yet. Will hold up Thanos as if I've acquired a cosmic cube once I find him.
  8. Black Friday is usually when old crap is discounted, not when new stuff is magically replenished. I've gone to countless stores at those "midnight madness" hours and it's the same stuff they had on the pegs the entire week, now with a "Buy 3, get 1 Free!" tag or such. But best of luck.
  9. Onyx, IMO your three are pretty easily the best looking ones. Good luck!
  10. I'm guessing you did the Frank Monster? Visually, it's the best one, I just love me some Rowdy Roddy Piper and Hellraiser, and like the "dumb" Universal look for Frank (or Monster Squad look) more than a scary monster one, myself.
  11. I think Chatterer and They Live Piper are my favorites.
  12. It's more accurate, I don't know why Marvel made BRIGHT SILVER PAINT on Warpath and Archangel in the first place, when their costumes were designed for covert affairs. It looks cool on the figures, but is wrong.
  13. It's not a straight re-release of Warpath, though. What a fugly Wolverine head.
  14. Just pointing out what it's worth for those who have one, I myself still find price guides neat. FYI, I don't think X-Force Archangel will be released for a long time, if ever. Just something I was told at NYCC but at the time I took it as "sign up now!" plea from the girl at the booth. Now I'm not so sure. I was basically told this as I was at the booth when I asked about Archangel. "So do you know about how many of these were made?" "I'm not 100% sure, I think around 1,000 or maybe more." "There's gotta be more than that." "Yeah, I'm not really sure. But I do know that they're not going to be offered again for a really long time." Which is good and bad if true, because it at least means they plan on offering them again at SOME point. The average MU prices for HTF items seem to be: X-Force Archangel Digital Comics NYCC Exclusive - $145 Galactus SDCC Exclusive - $110 Nick Fury Digital Comics Online Exclusive - $95 Invaders Box Set SDCC Exclusive - $65 Red Skull (from Invaders Set) - $30 Captain America SDCC '09 Black & White - $25
  15. Just a FYI, X-Force Archangel is easily selling for $140-150 plus S & H now on Ebay. I guess since it was tough to get more than 1 or 2, it's gonna be even harder to find.
  16. Waiting for the dark colored one, got a SDCC edition of the standard. My CT TRU priced it as $49.99 and a week later, when none of the 8 had sold, raised it to $54.99. I've also seen it priced $57.99 in NY. Probably end up buying the dark one loose online for like $40.
  17. The only real "bad" part of Carnage are the ball joints that aren't painted. They stand out big time and make him look cheap. Must fix them. Good head sculpt.
  18. Just found Carnage and Ben Reilly Spider-Man for $6.97 at Wal-Mart in CT.
  19. I have the over/under on how many Iron Man 2020 figures I see during the Holiday Season at about 30,000.
  20. There were 6 Wreckers at my TRU peg-warming. All stacked in front of each other. Remember how hard he was to find like a month or two ago?
  21. Just a heads up, Snake, the Warpath variant is his Uncanny X-Men costume (Uncanny #475 debut) not classic X-Force. Awesome reviews!
  22. Jamie becomes infected with infections or diseases his dupes pick up if he reabsorbs them.
