  1. Caved and ordered all the remaining figures off of Ebay. Just need Northstar and I'm done.
  2. I remembered a 6th Target and checked it this morning. (YES, I have 6 Targets with 10 miles of my house. Unreal.) And the 6th was the jackpot. Looks like they put out a whole case and I was first. Black Knight, Omega Red, and Aurora are sitting on my shelf. I also grabbed a gray Hulk. So jealous right now. I'd be happy just being able to find Dagger and Abomb at this point.
  3. I went on a toy run all over town and came back with nothing. I did see a Ferrari though. Looks like I will be forced to order Dagger, A-Bomb, and possibly the final wave from ebay.
  4. That Iron Man 3 Hall of Armor is now up at HTS http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/marvel-iron-man-3-hall-of-armor-collection?BR=820
  5. Just missed out on a Dagger and Abomb at Target yesterday. So bummed.
  6. Opened my wave 2 Avengers Assembled figures. Really like the Hawkeye. The Leader is ok (just happy that they made a figure of him). He seems way too tall though. I am a little disappointed with the Nick Fury figure though. His pistol won't fit into the holster and they gave him a black trench coat with his blue Shield uniform. It encumbers movement and looks goofy to me.
  7. Got my Amazon Hall of Armor and my shipment from Hasbro yesterday. Really glad I finally got a decent Mark 42 (even though I essentially paid $40 just for him). I also re watched Iron Man 3 last night and it just made me wish all the other armors where released with the same articulation. Got my Cloak, Abomination, and AA Hawkeye, Fury, and Leader figs from Hasbro. I am really impressed with the Abomination. Now to just find the variants...
  8. I got an email this morning saying everything shipped except for the Thor 2 Loki figure I ordered.
  9. Just grabbed Cloak, Abomination, Leader, Fury, Hawkeye (AA), and Loki (Thor 2) from HTS. Had a code for $10 off orders over $50. Can't believe I got these with free shipping for less than retail price!
  10. Got the first part of my shipment from hts yesterday. New Cap, Iron Fist, and X-force Wolverine. The silver on the Wolverine is MUCH shinier than the original release. They also came with two coupons; one for 15% off and one for $10 off an order over $50. Hopefully Dagger and Abomination get released on their site before the end of October when those coupons expire.
  11. I picked up a couple of the Thor Dark World figures yesterday from Toys R Us. All they had left on the pegs was a Kurse and a couple "lightning hammer" Thors. Picked up one of each and I have to say, I am really impressed with these figures. The rubberized plastic the clothes are made out of is nice. Reminds me of NECA figures. They do lack wrist articulation though. Keeping my eyes out for a Loki. The only thing is that these are so much better than the Iron Man 3 figures that you have to wonder what Hasbro is thinking at any given moment. It makes me happy in my decision not to get any of the Assemblers because of how bad they look by comparison but sad for what might have been if Hasbro made IM3 figures as good as these.
  12. Hit my Toys R Us today. No new figures but they did a reset and have the pegs out for the Thor Dark World figures. They had two pegs for the figures and then a few pegs for role playing helmets and hammers. Hopefully this means they will be out soon.
  13. Picked up a Red Skull and a Black Widow from the new Avengers cartoon yesterday. I am very impressed with these. I looked at the other figures they had there. Still on the fence with Falcon. I originally had no intention to get Hulk but seeing it in person, he is very tempting. I got a 15% off coupon printed out with my receipt so I will have to go back and get one of those two. I find it funny that these figures, based off a cartoon, are so good yet the IM3 3.75 figures are so disappointing.
  14. I was there as well, first time in 10 years and it's really quadrupled in size. The only unmasked Doom I remember seeing was $120. Lots of MU but, yeah, mostly everything was ridiculously overpriced. One guy had Gladiators for $20. I'm not a big autograph guy so I avoided the lines - one of my friends waited 3 hours for Norman Reedus though. How long was the line for Stan? My huge success - I was there for 5 minutes and found a loose red/blue Goliath for $30 to fill a huge hole in my collection. The other stuff I got where all for future custom ideas and I had to haggle to get less than $10. Grabbed an Indian version of Croc Master for a buddy that has a ridiculous Croc Master obsession. One booth had a ton of Futurama figures for $10 eacch and I forgot to go back for them before I left. The big break was hitting a Meijer for gas on the way to Chicago and swinging in to see a ton of stuff on clearance, and 25% extra off of all clearance. Avengers Hulk was down to $3ish and Iron Patriot Legend was about $8. I would have grabbed a ton more legends but I had no idea what I would want to spend at the show so I held off. In all the show was lots of fun - my buddy and I decided to reuse last year's Halloween costumes and dressed up as Calvin and Hobbes. It's a pretty lazy costume but lots of folks seemed to enjoy us. Afterwards, the wife and I hit a 7/11 on the way to our hotel and the clerk really laughed about selling a guy in a tiger costume a case of Old Style. I was there the whole weekend last year. It seemed a little smaller this year. It took an hour and a half to get Stan Lee's autograph but he was a trooper. I told him that I loved his cameos and he said "Oh thank you I love doing them." Chris Claremont took all of two minutes to get his autographs. He was only charging $5 each. I had him sign the three book I had brought and wish I would have brought a couple more. Yeah things are pretty overpriced there. The only figure I bought was a Bioshock Infinite Elizabeth figure for $30 because I hadn't been able to find one before that. There was one booth that had good prices on some Star Trek stuff but I didn't get anything there. I got a custom frame from Collector's Resource for my signed comics that is awesome. It's UV protectant and they had a show special on it. Can't recommend them enough. Only other stuff I picked up was a couple t-shirts, some Green Lantern plastic rings from all the corps, and a couple Essentials for $3 each. We actually left an hour early because we had already seen everything.
  15. Thank you. Those gauntlets actually look pretty good. Yeah they work for me. I originally tried to make some out of metal but they just wouldn't stay on.
  16. I went to Wizard World Chicago yesterday. Several booths had Marvel Universe figures. One booth pretty much had them all but for big money. The only figures I did not see there was the unmasked Dr Doom exclusive and a Maria Hill. While I was there, I got autographs from Stan Lee and Chris Claremont. I am super happy about that.
  17. I would highly recommend Falcon as well. Those wings look so much better than the MU version. I pondered buying him for a long time before I decided not to. The wings do look great, but I think I'll wait for a review of him. I'll definitely give him a second look if I see him in stores.Only negative points I can say are that he has no wrists, no Redwing, and he has those movie style round hips. As for hauls, I finally snagged Shocker. Needs gauntlets but is an otherwise cool figure I took the shackles from the XMOW Weapon X figure and trimmed the chains off to make make-shift gauntlets for my Shocker.
  18. Got my taco truck on Saturday. Really impressed with it although I find it odd it didn't come with any taco accessories. Also picked up a copy of Amazing Spider-Man #23 last night that I am getting signed by Stan Lee on Saturday!
  19. Found Elektra, Mysterio, and Rhino last night. Passed on Cap and the rest for now. I have a Cap from the movie line that I feel is better (I like the scales on his costume). I am slightly tempted getting Iron Fist with the gold trim but can't justify him yet.
  20. lmao.... btw anybody else saw this... http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/SearchResults.htm?SWD=marvel+universe&PG=1&NPG=30&ST=NW alot of new coming soons... Nice. Thanks for posting this. I'll have to keep an eye on HTS to see if I can finally get Elektra, Mysterio, and Rhino.
  21. Is the X-Force Wolverine silver now? The original release he was just black and gray.
