Went to Target after work yesterday. The pegs there have been completely empty for a couple weeks. I look and the pegs are full!...full of figures from two waves ago :P

Got my shipment from hts yesterday. Got Prof X, Blastaar, and Jubes. Today I scored a Peter Parker Ultimate Spider-Man. Just need Bag Man and maybe a Blastaar with clear hands.

Crap. Just missed out on paper bag Spidey. Habro toy shop has been doing a good job of showing you the photo of the actual variant you are ordering. Got a clear Sue Storm that way. I did, however, just get my bamfing Nightcrawler variant in the mail from Hong Kong. Awesome.

Prof X wave JUST went up at hasbrotoyshop.com. Got them ordered along with the Falcon two pack and the Fantastic Four team pack (invisible woman variant was shown). Had a 15% off code from my last order and free shipping. Not bad.

Got the first part of my shipment from hasbro toy shop and I got Miles Morales! So now I know I need the regular Ultimate Spider-Man figure and the Bag-man variant. Anybody got any extras?

Wave 18 still hasn't come out in the midwest. Sad Face.

Still waiting for Wave 18 to creep it's way into the midwest. Why we are usually 3 months behind is beyond me. I did find another movie Black Widow today though that I picked up for a friend.

I feel your pain brother. Hopefully the interview went better than the figure hunt.

My copy of Amazing Spider-Man #40 that I got signed this weekend by Stan Lee!! Wizard World Chicago was awesome! I saw the Star Trek panel Friday with Shatner, Brooks, and Bakula. Saturday I saw Bruce Campbell. Sunday was Stan's Panel. Picked up dozen trades for half off or cheaper. No figures though since those were over priced. Had a blast!

I know Kmart used to carry Marvel U figs back when they first came out but haven't since like wave 5 or so.

There might be a chance I can get a Maria Hill figure for free! A friend of mine works with a guy that got the SDCC carrier for his kid. I guess he got it for him because the kid is really into the Marvel Legos and the carrier is a better scale for those figures than the Marvel Universe ones. He said if his kid doesn't want the figures my friend can have them who will in turn give them to me!

Oh, also saw all of the Marvel Universe stuff was being clearanced out at my local Walmart. Hope this is just for a reset and not permanent.

Finally got my X-Factor six pack along with the Mandarin and FF comic packs at Toys R Us! Glad I get a discount. I passed on the Wolverine/Hulk pack as the single carded Hulk is coming. Also passed on the Juggernaut pack for now. I wouldn't mind the unmasked Juggernaut but really don't need the Colossus so I will wait until either it goes on sale or try to snag a loose one off ebay. No sign of the X-Men/Avengers packs yet.

I went to Walmart today expecting nothing but they actually stocked their toy aisle! Picked up a movie Hawkeye and Black Widow along with a Skrull from that wave. I also saw they had the third wave of the Spidey figures. All of them were "concept" repaints. The night vision Spider-Man looked pretty cool but not cool enough to pick up.

Hey Pete, how much did it cost to get it graded by the CGC? I already got my ticket to the con AND the ticket for the autograph but just need to know how much more money I need to bring if CGC is there.

Not figure related but I have to geek out. I will be attending Wizard World Chicago in August. First I was really excited because William Shatner is having a panel and I'm a Star Trek fan. Then it was announced that Stan Lee was going to have a panel and I got really excited. August of this year is the 50th anniversary of Spider-Man. Stan Lee will be there and, let's face it, the guy is old. This may be the one and only chance I have to get his autograph. So I made up my mind I was going to spend a little money and get something special for him to sign. I started searching the internet for a old copy of Amazing Spider-Man. I searched and searched and finally came across a Fine copy of ASM #40. Turns out it was a guy in town selling it who specializes in Platinum, Gold, and Silver age stuff. Today I picked it up 5 minutes before my shift started at Toys R Us. I was geeking out for hours and still have goosebumps. It's in amazing condition and ready to be signed ^^

After seeing these figures, I really hope the Lizard in the movie has a cannon.

I got off of work early so I stopped at the Super Target. I came out of there with the Mr Sinister and Adam Warlock comic packs FINALLY! The employee I talked to was a ton of help. He went in the back for me and came out with a case that had the figs in it. Yay!

So I just noticed, is it just me or does the way Prof. X is posed make him look like his chair just collapsed and he's mad about it?

I just scored a Forge figure from the Wolverine and the X-Men line for $.99 plus shipping on ebay!

Picked up the Manga Spidey and Ultimate Doc Oct today at Toys R Us. Also stopped at the local Walmart. Their toy section has been a disaster area for over THREE WEEKS now. Almost all of the toys are off of the pegs and on the shelves and floor. Looks like a tornado went through. Needless to say they haven't gotten anything new in. Really kicking myself for not taking a picture.

Started seeing some of the ASM figs. TRU had all of wave 1 except of course for Doc Oct (which I wanted). A local Target had wave 2. Picked up the ultra poseable Spidey. Passed on the Lizard and Manga Spidey for now but will get them on sale at some point. Still looking for the newest two packs and wave 3 of the Avengers.

I like how the Avengers set says it is "Modern" Iron Man...

I am nervous about the Thundercats stuff as well since I just saw all the toys clearanced at TRU yesterday. Cartoon Network did a press release about new and returning shows for fall and spring of next year and Thundercats was not listed among them. This is really frustrating for me because first I started collecting the 8" classics line and they cancelled that after two figures. Then I started on the 6" classics line. They have only released two figures in that line too and nothing new has been announced.
