I do get what you're saying Mike, I'm not happy about being involved with what happened. I didn't know about barcode switching before that morning and since my initial post I have taken some of the advice on here and phoned that particular stores customer service dept. If you didn't know about it either then I'm glad my post garnered so much heat cause maybe people on here can urge walmart employees to check what they're scannning and prevent this particular problem all together. I remember buying 5 figures from the kilowog wave without BAF parts and teaching the baf concept to the ladies at customer service when I returned the figures in hopes that I wouldn't find anymore incomplete figures on the pegs. I really do regret not doing more when I could have but I was honestly scared and didn't wanna get in trouble (paying with the guy and having our figures ring up differently would have equaled trouble.) Guys believe me when I say that I have nothing but love for this toy line and don't wanna see it disappear again, If something similar ever happens again, I promise that I'll so my best to prevent it.

Anyone remember going for DCUC's and not finding baf pieces in the box. It made buying them at retail pretty difficult. There's alot of ways people chip away at toy lines. I agree with you on what you're saying about the line dragon. I'm way past the point of lecturing my friend on morals and but I think there's alot of folks who buy they're stuff legitimately and I don't see legends dying out because of this. I imagine every line deals with a certain degree of loss when the demand is so high and the supplies are so limited.

Does anyone think Angel looks a little like Brad Pitt. I couldn't help but think they modeled the sculpt after him. Could just be me Nice score with the red angel

No big deal with the flak on here, everyone's got their opinions and I respect the variety of viewpoints on here. I didn't go to walmart to scam anyone and really don't need a criminal charge screwing up grad school for me , my friend had his own plans and what he does under those cameras is his reponsibility. As soon as I got my drax, fantomex, and cap I paid at the jewelry dept. and waited at the McD's. I just couldn't believe what he did worked. Especially when the register must have NOT been showing toys as the worker rang him up.

Right now my area is pretty well stocked with legends. We didn't get the initial rush but now every walmart is full of them. If ur after anything in particular let me know and I'll try and find it. Masked Daken hasnt hit though

My initial post was purely narrative. I wasn't looking for any high fives and simply wanted to garner some opinions over something I had mixed feeling about. I spent 50.44 on 3 figures yesterday morning and he ended up paying a little over 30 for 6 figures. This guy is a really close friend of mine and I'm not about to argue with him over his personal decisions but at the same time I was a little annoyed at ultimately paying about 250 to make two arnim zolas in between target and walmart and looking at his receipt after we left the store. Don't assume I'm this nefarious character, I really support hasbro and happily buy up their legends but seeing him pay what he paid truthfully made me pretty jealous. I guess I just put it on here to see what other people thought about it and I'm pleased at the mixed reaction it got cause honestly I'm on both sides of the issue.

I'm not condoning what he did. Truthfully i was pretty nervous for him. I paid at a different department and waited for him at the little mcdonalds in the front. I'm just telling the forums what went down today in our hunt. I do apologize if it ruffles some moral feathers on here.

My friend and i hit up a walmart this morning and we saw them put 3 cases of wave 2 on the pegs (no masked daken or big time). I got my extra pieces to finish my second zola and my buddy ended up taking an entire set. The funny part is that he managed to take some bar codes stickers off of some dvd'd for 5 bucks a piece and placed them over the legends upc's. The worker ended up ringing his wave for 5 bucks a piece!

That looks like the exact same thor chris hemsworth was holding at last years nycc in promotion of the thor movie. Pretty cool though. Can't believe that hulk is gonna be a single carded figure with the way hasbro has been doing their bafs recently. Looks awesome though

I just found alot of loose legends in my extras bin with accessories in little baggies if you're interested. One of my buddies got the rest of my boxed legends( he was PISSED that i gave you those 4 figures), but i have alot of things to trade still if you're interested .

i got the torso and head parts. I passed on rebuying the rest of the wave just for the baf parts so I'm still in need of the arms and legs to finish my second Zola. I just saw a masked daken on ebay going for over 200 bucks! thats crazy is that figure that rare right now?

I managed to find a box of wave 2 tonight at my local walmart and was real stoked to find thunderball and madam masque (i already built variant zola and needed these guys to build the regular one), but looking at the rest of the figures, i noticed that the box had future foundations spiderman and unmasked daken. I thought that you either got a variant box or a regular box, is that not the case. I was actually hoping for a masked daken also as the last box that i opened had pure variants. Has anyone else seen this?

Sorry, I don't think I have extra brood queen wings lying around. As the Annihilus wings, like I mentioned in an earlier post, I do have extra ones sitting in my fodder bin, I've been a little busy as of recent but I'll be happy to help you when I find them, if I only have one left wing I'm going to to have to give it to another member I already commited it to.

I appreciate your words clam.I really didn't get sore over any of the heat, but I did take the whole hurting the line thing to heart. Despite the laughable piousness of most people on here, the overall protection of the line is something I can sympathize with .
