Wow great work. It looks awesome. I love the removeable objects, are they color coded like the heroclix objects red for heavy yellow for light? The underground sections are great as well.
A tip though. For a lot less you can get the thicker about 1.5 to 2 in construction grade foam sheet insulation to use as your main levels (heck head on down to a local construction site and see what they are throwing away). That would leave you more foam core to to make moveable bulidings and roads etc..
You could do it as tiles where the base is say brown dirt and you have various tiles of grass or road and buildings. use push pins or tooth picks to hold them in place.

Just this past weekend saw Extremis IM at a TRU here in Albany, NY first of that wave I have seen. Stopped in KMart and found the Iron Man 3 pack...love the Vibranium armor and the Omega War Machine.

This custom was ispired by Rogues Extreme X-Men costume.
For more pics check out the 3.75" forum.

The pics are most likely too big. go and resize them by about 50%. THey need to be less than 2 MB each (thats 2000 KB to those mathmatically challenged)

Here's my 1st 3.75 custom. Rogue in her Extreme X-men costume.
The body is a Joe ROC Baroness, the boots are Scarlett's and the head is the ever popular Agent Helix.
It's not entirely comic accurate, I decided to use the detailing on the Baroness. I think it still has the feel of the costume.
Let me know what you think.
This is my favorite costume of hers, and one I know I will never see in a figure.
The only problem I had was the joints rubbing the paint off. any one have any suggestions on how to fix this. I tried same sealer but it never worked.

Picked up all the wave 4 of secret wars at WalMart in Albany NY.
Looks like one case two of each pack.
Haven't opened them yet, but Doom looks sweet.

I would like to make a custom from a ROC Baroness Fig. Could anyone tell me how to disassemble it for painting. In a way I could put it back together and still have articulation.
I know thw hands and head pop off and can be reattached but was wondering if the arms can come off at the shoulders and the legs at the hips.
Also is it possible to remove the pin in the knee and replace the shin/boots?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

My son has been asking for two things for Xmas.
One is a Pixar Car that they don't make (Tach-O-Mint for those familiar).
The other is a Super Hero Squad Reptil, which won't come out until Jan.
(Get on the stick Hasbro!!)
So since I don't have the eqipment required to make the car I did have several Squaddies I could chop up.
So I started out with two versions. (only got one completed due to time constraints)
Fist version is Velociraptor Legs Reptil Made from a Iceman (Bobby Drake) body/head, Sabertooth (movie version) hands, and some random Jurassic Park Velociraptor for the legs and tail.
The Second Version is Tyrannosaurus Head Reptil (man this character is screaming for a box set!!)
body and appendages Dark Beast, random Jurassic Park T-Rex for head natch.
All needed parts were sawed, cut off and trimmed.
The parts were then pinned and glued into place.
Green modeling epoxy was used to fill in all gaps.
Figures were primed and painted.
Finally finished with a clear coat.
Whole thing took about a week. Should hold him until the real one comes out.
Let me know what you think.
Due to time restraints (xmas is coming) I was only able to finish one will post the other when I am done.

Wow great job. I love the accessories.
Did you use a X2 Nightcrawler as a base?

Here are a couple of repaints of Marvels Handful of heroes.
I don't now if they count as customs but I did make a mini diorama for each.

It is quite amazing the level of detail these little figs do have.

You can try to pin the straps in by using a small bit of wire in each end or make your own straps from the Plastic twist ties that come with most larger action figs.
Most of them have a metal core so if you strip them with wire cutters and drill some small holes into the board they should stick. Just make sure his hand can fit through the loops.
Nice work by the way.
