  1. Judging by some of the paint aps on a number of MU figures that I've bought I would rate most customizers here well above Hasbro. My Mystique looked like a 4 year old painted it. Precisely! What I meant was that we don't have hundreds of people and machines doing the work. I can't help what people put in their signatures. Just because Rod has it in his signature does not make him the primary representation of O.P.P. That representation lies with ME! Rod has his site and O.P.P. is mine! I told Rod from the beginning that he needs to stand or fall on his own. I'll help him with advice, but it is best for both of us that people do not misinterpret one from the other. If I fail, Rod should not be held responsible as I won't be responsible for any of his failings, short-comings, or possible erroneous transactions. Any more than I would expect any of you to be accountable for mine. It does seem that my name and company are being thrown around to benefit others and it is something I am aware of and am monitoring closely.
  2. Having O.P.P. links doesn't mean #$@#! It doesn't make anyone better than anyone else! I know even my work sucks at times, Rod's paints could be sharper, hell I even see spots on Legend's. It's not a competition! It's supposed to be for fun and to possibly show the clueless people at Harsbro what COULD be done. Rod, if people didn't want critiques or can't handle it, they wouldn't be posting their work for everyone to see. No one is perfect! We're not Hasbro!
  3. My personal custom contest. http://onyxphoenix.forumotion.com/t1855-2012-challenge#17135
  4. Bottom line is, Rod put a lot of time and effort into duplicating these. If you don't wish to pay the amount he is asking, don't buy them. It's that simple. I can't see his price going any further than what it has. That is a huge hunk of resin in the coat and each arm is the same amount of resin as two heads.
  5. With the future of Hasbro uncertain right now, this may eventually be the only way to get certain items.
  6. Minimum wage? SHEEEET! I wish it was that high. These coats are pretty tight! Rod sent me one to test the waters! They're good stuff
  7. I know this isn't MU, but the customizing potential will soar. If they do them right! http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=1&itemid=18388
  8. Thanks guys! Here it is a bit closer to being complete.
  9. I'm hoping to be done with it next week. If not then the week after for sure. Here's another w.i.p. I am working on.Although not MU, I thought you guyswouldlike it.
  10. Here's w.i.p. pic. This is NOT the finished product. Just a cast to get the basic shape. I still have to go in and fine-tune, fill air-holes, and sculpt on it. I do it to everyhead until I feel it is as close to perfect as possible. I do it with every head.
  11. No it is photoshop. I'm just saying if it were real. Not my picture either. Something I found on Facebook.
  12. yeah bro! The Bio-Mask is and the shoulder plasma caster. Realistically though, the head should be larger. Perhaps too large for that particular body.
  13. Damn! Are you guys having your Aunt Flow visit this week or what?
  14. Why not? Everyone else does! Check this out. How cool is this?
  15. Dustin, I should have images up by Tuesday or Wednesday. I have to wait for mold material to arrive to mold the shrunken helmet. It looks very good though from what I can see. I may have tomake some minor fix
  16. Or you could just buy Papo's Smilodon. http://tgftoys.com/Papo-Smilodon-55022.htm
  17. Success! Just finished removing a very tedious head shrink from a mold that had very long horns. A very "legendary" character. Also working on one that will make a lot of people "crow". Also, Ares helmet is in the shrinking stage now and is looking good so far. Yes, it will be removable.
  18. Wow! guess I missed a few things here. You guys do realize that I have my own forum also where you can ask all this to your heart's content. Anyway... Powerman- Yes I can shrink, no I'm not interested in shrinking everyone's stuff at this time, though feel free to pm me a list. CommanderRogers - Shhhh! I have one that I plan to do, but I think the head has an odd shape for a tiger...oops! Olslick- Here is what I use. It is a real painin the ass though as it has the consistency of soft fried egg-white. THe original head does not get ruined because you make a mold of it then pour this stuff into it which sets in like 1 minute. Do onlyone head at a time! http://www.sculpt.com/catalog_98/CastingMa...HydroShrink.htm Here's a tutorial: http://www.sculpt.com/technotes/Tech_Sheet...ydroshrink2.pdf It is pretty expensive and a pain cause you make two molds of thehead. Original size then the shrunken size. Any further questions just pm me or visit my forum.
  19. olslick - I must have missed something. What are you asking me? If you have that ML Forge, I can shrink it. I don't have v ery many Ml figures myself. As for the Ares set, I think it will sell for 9-10 dollars.
  20. My store shuts down at 5pm central today for overhaul. If there is something you've had your eye on, get those orders in now because I WILL be removing some items premanently.
  21. I have added this head to the store for those who really want it now. However, keep in mind that I am working on the helmet and will be combining the two as a set. I'm also closing the store on 2-16-12 for an overhaul and willbe removing many items so if there is something you were interested in, now's the time.
