  1. En Sabah Nur is really coming along well No kidding! That sculpting looks really amazing! I can't wait to see it finished. great work onyx... damn you love than venom base ! I find that this combination is the best SO FAR for larger characters. Perfect bare torso. Just fill in the spine area and the lines on Sabe's legs and there ya go. I also raised the neck ball on this one so he would not be so...hunched.
  2. My daughter Hayden was born 3-20-10 @ 3:59 P.M. Weighing 7 lbs. 12 oz. and 20 inches long. She is healthy and beautiful and already has me wrapped!
  3. I like it. Your paints are great but I think the body may be a bit buff still.
  4. Thanks guys! I have updated images coming soon. My daughter is due to be born Sunday so...I'm not able to commit seriously to anything right now but I will post them when I can. I answered your question also Warspectre in the how-to thread.
  5. As far as bicep swivel, it is possible but very difficult and even more so without painting. You'd have to cut the bicep and basically do the same thing to it that I did with the wrist. Only it will be more difficult because you have to keep in mind that the peg for the elbow goes right up there also. As far as t-bar, I haven't done it yet but crowncoke has. Basically you have to crack the crotch area open and insert the t-bar.
  6. WRIST ARTICULATION: This procedure will vary depending on the custom and parts chosen. Always be certain the parts chosen have enough depth, width, and overall "meat" to support this technique. 1. After choosing the paarts you want to use, carefully cut the hands off at teh wrist or forearm if doing forearm articulation. 2. Chose the right dremel bit. It will vary depending on the size of the available wrist and forearm as well as the size of the peg you use. Here is an image of the bit I use. 3. Now for the tricky part. Drill holes in both the wrist and forearm section. Be certain the holes line up as straight as possible. You don't want a lopsided hand. Also, try not to waddle the hole out too much. You want the fit to be as tight and snug as possible. 4. Now insert your peg in the hand or forearm, which ever you choose. You may have to heat the parts to make the fitting easier, either with a blow dryer or hot water. Use your teeth (my choice) or needle nose pliers to shove the peg in as far as you can. For mine I used the peg from XMO Sabretooth's knees. 5. Now do the same for whichever part is left and put the two parts together. Remember to shove it in as far as you can and heat helps. There ya go!
  7. Thanks bro! You too. I'm finding that it is so easy to make your own armory wiith just a few simple repaints.
  8. Inspired by a fellow customizer on another site, I made my Mark VI movie accurate.(right) I also really liked the pant scheme of the Inferno one (silver and red) So I painted my Assault Armor IM to match but in gold and red. Hope you guys like.
  9. According to the bios in the back of Marvel Comics - Fall of Hulks: Gamma, Skaar is 6'6" and weighs 400 lbs. Which, believe it or not, is less than She-Hulk who weighs in at 700 lbs. and is 6'7" tall. She's a "big-boned" ho. Being a stickler for accuracy that I am, I tried to keep this in mind. So, for all those haters who claim, "your custom is too small"...Do your homework! Also remember that my custom is hunched over slightly. As requested, here are some comparison shots:
  10. Tony Stark head test.Tell me what you guys think. The head is Anakin Skywalker. If I use it, I will sculpt the goatee and darken the skin tone a lil and make eyes a lil bolder. Is it too big of a head?
  11. Got my modern era Thor tooday. I love it other than the head. I mean, is it just me or does he look like he has Downs Syndrome? Seriously...if you give him black hair and brown eyes he'd be Chinese!
  12. It's the Tri-gate Blade head& it looks better in person. Plus....I'm not done yet!
  13. Head - Xmo Colossus Torso - Venom (with customized, articulated waist) Legs - Xmo 2-pack Sabretooth Weapons - Tri-gate Everything else - sculpted
  14. Thanks guys! That's pretty awesome Riddick! I'll get some scale pics up soon.
  15. I am heading out the door right now cause my girl has a Dr. Appt for the baby but I will when I return.
  16. *Pay Attention Hasbro while I show you how it's done!* Head - Xmo Colossus Torso - Venom (with customized, articulated waist) Legs - Xmo 2-pack Sabretooth Weapons - Tri-gate Everything else - sculpted
  17. Here's a sneak peek at my Skaar just for you guys. I'm still working on his weapons right now and I will post full pics after they are done as well as the recipe.
  18. I look forward to giving him a head. LMAO!!! I'm resisting! Really...I am! Btw... you always misspell my name. It has a Y in it...not an I...lol
  19. Rod, I got your message but the site will only let me reply to1 like every 20 mins or some crap. I like the Reptil body and you should find the right head out of the 2 that you purchased from me. I look forward to seeing it finished.
