I'm guessing the best time to check would be after 10pm when they have their pallets sitting on the floor. i'm guessing that some WM may have them but won't put them on the shelves yet.

Got my case from BBTS, got regulars. I really think it is just random, just more reports of variant sets are being reported

Well my WM must of done something with their Sentinels. About 5 of them were there on Monday (and have been there forever) for $40 and now none :(.
Same thing happened to me. They were $40 in the regular MU section, then all were gone one day. Turns out they were moved to a special clearance section in another part of the store. Found all of them there at $25.
Were the in the regular MU spot? If so, check the clearance area!
Yeah they were already in the clearance isle for $40, so the further markdown must of occurred in the two days I wasn't there!

These have started to pop up at some Targets (none near me yet). To see if your Target has any, go to this website: http://sites.target.com/site/en/spot/mobil...pci=087-06-2403 and enter your zip code. It will tell you if any available store has any in stock. This works extremely well and is pretty accurate. If you know the DCPI of another toy your looking for simply change the last series of numbers in the url.

My Marvel Legends case is being processed for payment right now, so it should ship tomorrow. I was also at Walmart and they had a really good sale. All 3-packs (Fantastic Four, FF, Guardians of the Galaxy, and X-Force) were $9.00. The 6" Spiderman line was $5.00. Also picked up a couple of GI Joe vehicles at $13 each (left the HISS tank). Nice little haul today...

Yep, and I had it shipped today. I ordered on the first day as well.
Lame sauce, what was the first day, Dec. 5th?!??! Thats when I got mine ordered still at the $120 price for the 8 set.

Just in case my post about these got lost (last post on previous page) I picked up a X force set and a Guardians of the galaxy set if any one wants them for cost plus ship. Ill hold them for a couple days then ill probably return them if I get no takers

Got a pair of $25 clearance Sentinels from Walmart today. Amazing bargains!! Check your clearance aisles.
Mine are still on clearance for $40 however, there's about 15 of them left and they are not moving so I'm hoping they will go down.

Kokomo Toys has the figures up on eBay right now including the variants. That means they got them in already and are getting the variants too! Hope on of my cases is a variant :)
I saw that too, but I'm kind of disappointed with Kokomo toys. They used to have relatively cheap prices but now the prices have skyrocketed to near scalper zone.

For those of you who preordered through BBTS like I did, what do you plan to do with that stupid extra Iron Man figure? I hate that there's an extra IM when they could have shipped both versions of Ghost Rider instead. I'm thinking that if I see that GR variant at a Target, then I'll return my extra IM with the receipt from GR since they'll likely have the same DCPI. Target's gonna be flooded with extra IM figs that way though. Any other ideas?
You can allways hope one of those Iron Mans will be the variant along with the regular! Thats what I'm hoping anyways!!

i just did a run and noticed how prices jumped up!!!!
TRU- singles $8.49 doubles $18.99 !?!?!?!?
Target- singles $8.99 doubles $17.99
Walmart- singles $8.97 no more doubles :(

Bummed that I missed them on TRU.com but i'm gunna hold on to my BBS pre-order anyways. It's a little cheaper and I'm wondering if they will get the variants.

TRU is too expensive anyway, my preorder, with shipping, came out to about $14.77 per figure counting Terrax (case of 8). Hopefully this means my preorder will be shipping soon. :D
I'm hoping the Avengers figures are added to the site soon though, I'd like that Thor figure.

I need to learn to wait a bit to go on hunts when new stuff is sighted down in California. I usually go out on super long toy runs as soon as I see new stuff is out there only to be dissapointed :(
