  1. No, sorry Onyx, it's 1:12 scale from the Legends type line, from the Fearsome Foes boxed set. I posted for help in this forum b/c there is no customs page on the legends forum. BTW Rodimus, I did glue the panel back on so he's 100%. Thanks again!
  2. Went to one of my local TRU's and they had restocked the legends two packs. they had about 10 down on the shelves. I was excited, b/c I had already picked up Hulk/Val and BW/WS. Well, those were the only ones down on the shelves. I noticed three full cases in the overheads, so I asked someone if we could check for DP/WP. After some cajolling, they agreed and a clerk brought out a ladder. 3 full cases, and all variants! WTF! I have been hearing that there are more "variants" out there than classic color DP. Did Hasbro really do this? I can't figure out the logic here, but I suppose that's why I'm a carpenter and not an exec for a toy company. What's everyone else seeing out there?
  3. Found a single fig from the Thanos wave yesterday at TRU. Iron Man 2020. Nothing else. Must have gotten picked b4 I got there.
  4. The way I usually attatch pics is from my photobucket account. Now on to the patient. It appears that the foot is hollow. If this is the case then there should be a panel on the bottom of the foot. If this is the case then what you want to do is put the foot in boiling water for about 30-40 seconds, and pop the panel out. Next you'll need to replace the peg. Take the foot with you to your local hobby shop, and check it against the styrene rods they have until you find one that fits in the groove where the pegs from the leg joint used to go. Then when you get it home drill out the front to rear of the leg joint where the pegs used to be. Next cut a piece of the styrene rod that goes all the way through the leg joint, and is long enough to make contact on both side of the foot. DO NOT GLUE IT IN PLACE YET! Ok now with it not glued in place it should be able to slide back, and forth. Slide it forward until it clears the rear of the foot, and angle the front of the rod in, and rock the joint into place. Then slide the rod back, and put the ends of the rod into the grooves where the pegs used to go, and glue the bottom of the foot back on. It should be good as new. Rodimus, huge props to you on this fix. I've added some pics of the fix, during and after, and him back where he belongs. Cost of the fix: $2.98 and about 20 minutes. Having my prize fig back in full working order: PRICELESS. Onyx, added a full photo so you can see the full fig with the "real" feet, though I'm unclear as to what that means. I'll also be joining your forum soon. On this note, I wonder if it would be a good idea to start a "figure fixes tips and trick" type thread that could be paperclipped or whatever you call it with the other main forum topics that are always listed. There are many of you on this forum with serious expertise that would be beneficial to the other 95% of us with little to no knowledge of how to repair damaged figures. Anyways, just a thought. Thank you again Rodimus, I owe you one!
  5. Fearsome Foes Rhino. Took a spill last week and the foot broke off. Rodimus, there is indeed a panel on the bottom. Thank you so much for the help. I have been more upset than I should be over a piece of plastic, but it's one of my favorites. I'll pm you after I complete the repair.
  6. Rodimus, thank you for the pm and offer of assistance. I couldn't figure out how to attach the pics in a pm, so I'm trying it here. Let me know if you need any other views. PM me with your e-mail or tell me how to attach photos in a pm and I'll get them to you. Thank you again, and I look forward to hearing from you. David
  7. Hey everyone. Not a customizer, just a collector of all things marvel. Been on the forums for a little while now and love it. I was hoping someone could give me some advice. I have a fearsome foes rhino (one of my faves from my collection) which took a spill the other day while I was adjusting my 3.75" rhino from the spidey line. Long story short, he hit the desk in such a way that his right foot broke off (still hurts every time I think about it ). The ankle is articulated, and the pegs on both sides (front and back) broke off. I would like to try and fix it so it remains articulated instead of just gluing it on in one position. I could not find the broken pieces, which obviously disappeared into the void. I'm going to clean the office again to try and find them, but if I can't, is there anything I can do? Any help at all would be much appreaciated.
  8. Picked up Winter/Widow, Hulk/Valk two packs at one of my local TRU's. $29.99, up from 24.99. Only one out of three stores had anything, and I picked them both up. Hopefully there will be a restock soon so I can score Deadpool/Warpath.
  9. Just b4 easter I won an auction for some legends figs - woke up at 3:30a.m. to do it. Auction was not labeled well (Marvel legends Lot). Well, it contained Juggernaut, Red Skull, Man thing, and Silver Surfer, all MOC. I bid with about 3 seconds left, and won the auction for $82 (shipping was $16). I paypal the money immediately, and begin the wait. According to his timeline, I should have the figs within 10-14 days. I wait till the 14th day, still no communication, nothing. I send an e-mail (should receive response w/in 2 days), get response on the second day: "Oh, I'm so sorry, we had the holiday and I totally forgot to send the figs, I'll get them out by Wednesday". I respond Thanks, It's okay, no harm done. Please send me a tracking number when you ship them. Friday comes, no email. I send another, "Hey, how about that tracking number"? 2 DAYS later I get the response: "Oh my gosh, I'm sorry, but there's a problem. MY DOG ATE THE JUGGERNAUT FIGURE. (Really, he used the my dog ate it line from 3rd grade). He goes on to say he can send the other figs, and include Omega Red instead of Juggy, or refund my money. At this point, I'm more pissed that he thinks I'm a fool than I am that he is trying to weasel out of the deal. I tell him no way, give me my cash. FOUR DAYS go by with no response. I send another email telling him I'm opening a case if money is not in paypal by Friday (three full days). Friday comes, no money, no email from him, so I open the case and send a scathing feedback. Saturday night my money is in paypal, and he sends a message acting like I'm overreacting. I sent a follow up feedback stating I was refunded, but seller has poor follow through, but nice enough guy. I followed this seller for about 2 months, and he sold a vintage WW2 diving knife to someone for $375, and he stiffed them. Soon after, he dissappeared off ebay. If your reading this dude, your a total turd and may an angry goat mount you in your sleep. Moral of the story: I still don't have Juggy, but I was happy with the escalation through ebay and paypal. Also, never let your goat go to bed angry......
  10. Those are awesome. Someone awhile back posted possible item numbers for the two packs of 483724. Can you confirm that these are accurate? Should be on your receipt. Thanks, and GREAT haul.
  11. Got classic iron monger from Meijers (regional walmart type of store) today. Passed on the latest tech armor (or whatever its called) cause the paint app sucked. Also passed on arctic armor (just stupid looking). Iron Monger is very cool though. Can't wait for Ultimate Iron Man.....
  12. Finally got Ghost Rider at TRU today. One left on the Marvel Mania display, snagged it. (Fourth TRU though) All I need now is classic iron monger...... anyone want to trade for Rhino?
  13. Went to three TRU's today, and two of them had the new Marvel Mania display. Got a Mystique (only one at all), Captain Britain (had three), and picked up two power charge rhinos (out of five). Passed on Negative man and strike force wolvie (the face is ridiculous). At any rate, picked up the extra rhino for trade or sale (cost plus shipping is $7.95 plus whatever shipping is). Looking for a ghost rider, modern miss Marvel, Archangel. PM me if interested, if no takers, I'll return next week. btw, the TRU's with the displays had a TON of wreckers, colossus, multiple mans, sf wolvie.
  14. Southeastern Michigan myself. Actually found them at the Chesterfield store (23 mile and Gratiot), which has also had no new figures for about 6 months. I was shocked to say the least. The pegs there have been full of warmers for some time, I almost wonder if this was an old case they brought from the back room.
  15. Dropped my boys to their music lessons today, and did my normal round of Kmart, Target, and Meijer in the half hour I have to burn. Didn't expect much and was being rewarded with nothing for my time but hammer file Spideys and IMs. Walked up to the aisle in Meijer, and saw the hammer logo from afar and figured more of the same. Got closer and nearly shouted out loud. Found Warpath, Vision, Jean Grey, and Sunfire staring me in the face! Holy Smackers! Best haul I've had to date! Already had Warpath, but none of the others. Picked them all up at $8.44 + tax. Makes me not feel so bad about missing out on Galactus.
  16. From what I see in the pics, it definately does not measure up to the toy biz Sentinel. The sculpt, paint, and articulation on the Toybiz model is out of this world. That being said, I think this new one from Hasbro is awesome in it's own right. Looks like Hasbro is starting to get it.
  17. Score one for the uberfans! Congrats. Can't wait to see those reviews, the figs look awesome! Make sure you stay objective - no sucking up to the man cuz' he threw you a bone!
  18. The old logo made me flip. Is Hasbro coming after Toybiz? I sure hope so. Toybiz sculpt and paint made Hasbro legends look like Barbies. With what Hasbro has been doing with mu sculpt and paint (did you see that ww hulk?!?!?!), if they turn thier attention to the 6" scale it should be awsome. CANNOT WAIT FOR 2012! -Hasbro, if you're yanking our chains, may your company be banished to the negative zone......
  19. I need a Bullseye. You looking to sell or trade? Let me know. I have a moc hulkbuster I could swap for it, or an MOC Hammer file Thor.
  20. Are Colossus and Sabertooth both ML? If so, can you post some pics, as I'd be interested in them depending on there condition.
  21. Rhino - Fearsome foes boxed set. Easily the best sculpt out there. Good Luck!
  22. picked up im2 comic wave 2 hb, classic im, and the robot style im at my local walmart. They also had 2 gaurdians, no titanium man. I already had tm hb and gaurdian, but bought another hb to display. Used the $5 off coupon inside the hb at the register, so got all three for $16. Unfortunately, they still had huge quantitiies of the first waves of both lines. I don't think that bodes well for newer figs like the drones.
  23. I'm in northern alberta canada...and we havent moved past wave 4(2009) even though i've 'snagged' iron fist 'redo'? For the most part, that is how it is here. I got lucky and was working about an hour SW of my normal stomping grounds and stopped into the Walmart. Got lucky because It looked like they had very recently put the stock out. Also picked up my final Secret Wars 2 pack (Doom/Absorbing Man/Wasp), totally happy about that. Keep looking, I think some of the stragler areas like ours will be getting some fresher stock.
  24. FINALLY scored some hammer figs in Canton, MI Walmart. Extremis IM, Bucky, Classic Cap, and Spidey. Multiples of each so I could get good paint. Maybe they'll start flowing into this area, which seems way behind with these figs.
