  1. Kilo23 sent me most of the parts. Fury is a RodimusVTS fury head, shield agent torso, bullseye legs and right gun hand. gotta dremel the thigh sockets a bit to get it to really fit on the body, then paint to match everything including the head. one thing i noticed is that RodimusVTS put the cigar on the wrong side. the gaping drooping mouth part is where it should be. works well enough since as i was painting the head, i imagined he was barking orders at me with disdain. magneto is the daredevil body and lower legs, falcon thighs, SW magneto forearms, open hand and belt, cyclops fist, WatXM magneto cape, and x-23 bootsleeves as the lower leg bands. aside from assembly and paint, the main thing is cutting up and shaving down the bootsleeves. gotta chop out 6 rectangular pieces per sleeve since that vertical line section going down the front is also on the back.
  2. awesome, glad they made it back to you :D
  3. Yo, Dawg, I heard you like comic covers! ahahahaha just noticed that too.
  4. oh snap. i remember asking a while ago on your fb page, think it was in response to seeing the arnold head on that body. looks pretty good.
  5. wow, nice effing haul there. all stuff just hitting (hawkeye, skrulls), will hit soon (3 pack), don't know if coming out (hellicarrier), and stuff we're not even supposed to be seeing yet (prof x wave). hope you take lots of pics if not keeping MOC =D
  6. yes. gotta shave away at the top of the hips and put an indent into the hole of the thigh to give the legs more range.
  7. finished a couple Super Skrulls that took me about 4-5 months to create. mostly learning how to cast so i could start fabricating my own parts. flamey and non flamey versions. also helped Kilo23 with his deadpool and psylocke above. got more pics up on my facebook page: NoodleChow Customs Page as well as in the customs forum section hereabouts. Super Skrulls: Body - Cable torso and legs. Head - sculpted using Super Sculpey Firm then molded and cast. Arms - Fists sculpted from scratch with Super Sculpey Firm with Apoxe Sculpt touch ups. Biceps and Elbows were modded Cable arms merged with XMO movie Wolverine's hips then sculpted over with Apoxie Sculpt. also molded and cast. Lower Legs (invisible) - clear resin casts of original legs. Shoulder Flair - Apoxie Sculpt Paint - Testors Acrylics Flames - resin casts of chopped up flame bits from a Toybiz movie Human Torch figure. Psylocke: Head - Onyx's jarael head cast Body - X-23 Forearms - Psylocke single card Sash - Psylocke single card Paint - Testors Acrylics

  9. holy crap. it's almost been exactly a year ago when that specific case was released. and 9.99 at tru? havent been to mine in a couple weeks but uuurrgghhhh......
  10. very cool onyx =D what kinda resin you using for your casts? love the waxy look of them.
  11. haha yeah that's the main reason why i bought that set. cast the head so i could have both figures in my collection and because the neck hole is huge so casting allowed me to drill an exact peg hole for the daredevil body. if anything you can always go with onyx's cast of it: http://onyxphoenixproductions.ecrater.com/p/9930567/sh-18# only thing i'm unsure of is if it's predrilled or not.
  12. yeah, not a needed custom but i really dig the added ability to look up and have his feet flat on the ground. i figured if i was gonna fix up a deadpool, i might as well make him look like he actually belongs in the MU line.
  13. MU style Deadpool! recipe: head cast from x-force 3 pack harness and belt from comic 2 pack deadpool bands from the jim lee cyclops body from the daredevil 2 pack
  14. i think the best option is to get the whole connector pole out, extend it and then cast it so it's all one piece. and for just x-actoing the helmet to make the top of his hair, that's a damn fine job. also, shortysben, that days of future past logan is top notch, great usage of parts and paint. just gotta paint the trim and collar that yellowy tan color.
  15. wow, really digging the customs and mods warspectre! what'd you use for thor's hair and how'd you raise the juggernaut torso?
