haha man. yeah the hunt is all about deduction since usually we never get any answers. like i saw 1 mod armor iron man at my TRU and can only surmise that either they got a case in but sold out, it was hidden and just found now and put on the pegs, or someone "returned" an item.

i was thinking about that too. even those in the vocal community could be a skrul- i mean scalper. that or there are those who try to battle their scalper side or who are forever consumed by it and only using the collector side as a facade.

haha i attribute all this to the fact that wave 13, gigantic battles, and the 2 packs are hitting all at once in various places in varying quantities. hope you guys can resolve your differences since we're all in this together, even the scalpers who may or may not be lurking in the shadows. hey kilo, can you confirm if deadpool has the new ball hinge neck?

haha man you guys need to calm down. it's the internet. in other news, seems my tru got one wave 13 case maybe but sold out over the 2 fer weekend and just got in some kinda revision case. nothing left that i needed cept a mod armor iron man but if i get a case from bbts or something, then buying anything in the store is moot.

just be patient, seems the hasbro is slowly rereleasing older figures. like flame-on torch is gonna be in the wave 13 revision case. hopefully they'll do the same for iron fist down the line too.

i just plan on painting those yellow boots on him. never really liked those kung fu slippers without socks look. and yeah you can have south bay powerman, not only am i not in that area but i'll stick with my e-tailers since i'm done hunting in the wild =D

i'm almost sure hasbro made it that way for people to buy full cases. i mean look at smalljoes.com, they're out of stock on the wave 13 case already. hoping they restock next week cuz i was planning on buying from them. not gonna bother driving to a bunch of stores anymore since i'm sure if one person got to a store that had em, they bought em all since i would have probably done the same.

haha man, i used to check those a bunch when star wars episode 1 came out. seemed as though they used to have the extra stock sitting up there till the rest of us took advantage of it.

ah man that sucks. yeah as much as i love frank and sons, i'm more than glad i don't live anywhere near there. some sellers there are really nice and wanna help you out but then there's the asshats who, once they know what you're looking for, buy said item from the other vendors around them just to make a few bucks off you. that said, it's actually one of my favorite places to go to. you can go in with 20 bucks and no idea what you're looking for and come away with a really nice stash.

yeah i'd say this wave and last wave are the best ones yet. shame cyclops doesn't come with an optic blast effect especially after cable coming with swappable chest plates and 3 weapons.

yeah haven't gotten the courage to open it just yet. i know that "meh" stock body but the wings looks awesome on it. think i'm just afraid the leg will just fall off like my spidey 2099. can't keep that leg on him even after trying to reform the plastic with hot water. man, and all that searching for the better part of the year and all i had to do was get lucky on HTS. one is for my buddy in NY so i have that on my wall along with variant warpath and phasing vision and i realized they don't... hang... right. balance is just off haha irishmofo, where are you from? i actually see a ton of bay area people on this board. maybe 5 at least.

what kind of iron men? people keep saying that modular iron man pegwarms but i've only seen him a handful of times.

agreed dressedrebel. the case ratio as well as coming up empty at the stores the past few weeks leads me to believe that buying cases is the best way to go now. sure i'll have extra figures that i'll have to either give to friends or sell or trade but really, that's better than the sheer amount of gas i'd wasted these past couple months just hitting the stores a few times a week trying to find the variant ms marvel or archangel at retail. archangel i was only able to get on HTS and i ended up getting a loose no accessories black ms marvel on ebay. driving as a whole was almost a complete waste of time.

ugh, yeah my TRU raised their prices to 8.49 but no new figures. asked a guy to scan one in to see if there's more in the back but we both weren't sure if it was wave based. it'll be 9.27 after tax at TRU and target's starting to hit 9.19 which'll push it to 10.09 per figure. i'm thinking now that a box will better suit me since even after shipping, a box with 12 figures comes to 9.50 each and i'll have extra figures to give to my buddies.

that blows man. seen a pic of goliath with the clone thor figure cut out of it too. but yeah, my walmart is notorious for swaps. i've seen the most random blast from the past power of the force figures swapped in MU comic packs and single carded star wars figures. one day i just made a small pile on the shelf of all the swapped figures hoping someone realizes something's a little amiss. bastards.

prolly saw that torch in 2009 man, waaay way back. last time i went in was maybe beginning of the year and they hadn't restocked their marvel universe. glad to see they actually got new stuff tho. hoping the stores get their stocks in this week cuz man, that cyclops is my most wanted figure. also, i'd say open it since it'll have all the better articulation that hasbro should have had from the start.
