  1. "Blah, blah, girl figures don't sell" Red She-Hulk sold out in record time.

"Blah,Blah, who's Death 's Head? Why make death's Head? Obscure characters peg warm" Death's Head sold out faster than Red She-Hulk.

I knew these two would be the Htf figures.....at least initially.

People talk so much crap, Hasbro won't change it's business model for case assortments and this always happens.

    So much hate.....

  2. Got excited to see a bunch of the new Infinity figures....

    Oh wait....

    attachicon.gifIMAG0762.jpg

Yeah we pretty much called that before the wave even came out....Needing armies of Iron-man and Captain Americas peg warming is what all the brick and mortar stores must of wanted if you'd believe the whole "anchor" theory. And Yodaminch called it right, finding The Avengers Infinite line is needlessly more difficult than MU was.... But whatever. hasbro seems incapable (or unwilling) to do what other toy companies have a better grasp on....

  3. While looking for some MU (don't collect these)

found this, thought I'd share the Sighting,

they Showing up through independent distributors

    In NYC,NEW JERSEY area.

unfortunately the place I took these pictures got Scalped Hard, so all that was left was the usual Spider-man Peg warmers didn't feel like taking pictures of.

So probably in the next month or so expect these to pop up at TRU and Possibly Wal-mart (I don't have Wal-marts near me) as it's usually how it goes,

Spot these kind of things and then they pop up ALL over a month or two later.

AGAIN, the store I took these pics was picked over between last night and today.

the scalper is selling them on Ebay. IF you really can't wait a month or two. (dunno why, patience)

    good luck.

22.99/21.99 (?) each plus tax was the asking price. why are these so expensive now?

  4. Totally random request:

Does anyone have an Omega Factor War Machine from the IM2 Advanced Tactical Armor set? Not the camo War Machine, but the one that's all green with black and silver highlights.

never even knew about this set until now, interesting, never saw it in the wild.

Always saw that Camo War Machine, hulk buster, translucent Iron-man set.

  5. There's a whole customs section on this forum--that's where the MU Customs thread went.

Can you get the peg out? The problem will be, even if you glue it--the joint will never be all that durable again.

If you have a dremel you can drill a small hole in the plastic spot where the peg was--then low tech-wise glue a toothpick (cut to the right length) in there and then insert the arm. It might be snug enough to work on its own, but you may also need some friction filler.

    this works well

    or

remove the peg, heating the joint with a blow dryer might help if it's really stuck.

then use a small screw (real small that fits the spot.) screw as much into the ball shoulder (when giving a problem I've heated the screw, blow dryered it to make it soft or just used pliers...whatever works ) then when screwed what you feel (deep but not too deep) is snug, use a pair of clippers and clip the screw driver end (if needed)and then use the hollow, peg-less arm hole as a gauge and reverse screw the broken screw/ clipped screw part into the hole.

    or

hammer a small nail or thumb tack into the broken part of shoulder and then force the pegless joint into the exposed hollow point.

all these 3 are just about making a replacement peg.

or say screw it and use Crazy glue, knowing that arm will never swivel again.

I like the clipped screw because if done right it literally screws right in and will have to be twisted off to come off again.

again be careful so you don't ruin the figure...

  6. Well I must say I'm truly VERY happy w/ how the idea for making my flaming skull heads no paint needed worked out, so I replaced the images of the orange, and blue flaming skull heads w/ these.

    nice skulls,

    like the flame illusion....

    very cool Vision Customizor

    and

PsychoPirate and DresselRebel are killing it.

    awesome work.

  7. Need some help from my fellow customizers out there. Really want an Arcade figure and know making one is the way to go. Already have a head ready and thought I had a custom body made but the plastic it was made from was extremely weak and didn't work out so any ideas on a body. I thought Prof. X but let's face it trying to cover dark colors with white is a true pain. So any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

MAYBE, the Alien From the MIB, Stalk eyes or something like that.

It's a beige suit but better than a black one, wish Hasbro pulled that suit buck a little more often.

  8.

While I was grocery shopping, I found wave 3 of the Assemblers. Silver Centurion is based on concept art, not the movie, but the Exosphere Iron Man is actually really cool. It sorta looks like a movie version of the Tron Man armor from the Abomination wave. The blue is metallic and pops nicely. The stock photos don't do it justice.

Is that the wave with Igor?
No. Igor is in the next wave. Since it hasn't gone up for pre-order yet, I'm think Igor may be a TJ Maxx exclusive next year.

    TJ MAXX exclusive...lol,

    how appropriately apt.

  9. That Iron Man 3 Hall of Armor is now up at HTS

    http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/marvel-iron-man-3-hall-of-armor-collection?BR=820

    WOW,

....so basically a Iron-man Exclusive that is EVERYWHERE.

I'm thinking that one isn't really a exclusive anymore.

And MU's have all come out on top of each other while many waves are still hard to find...

Kinda cool and bad at same time.

Wonder which of this stuff will be the real HTF's,

it would suck if many of the new MU's are with the running change/revision stuff and the "Exclusive" Iron-man set ends up as Marshall's/Ross/clearance store bait.

    weird....

But cool to see all this product coming out....somewhere.

  10.

A-Bomb was looking like the one NO ONE wanted and now suddenly there is a demand. What changed? Because he became rare?

Because before I didn't think anyone but me wanted the guy lol

What happened is that he's a variant. If Hasbro announces at NYCC that they are going to make a figure of Random Background Guy #2 from a random issue of Spider-Man, everyone will complain. If they announce that he's going to be randomly inserted into one out of every thousand cases, people will go nuts looking for one.

He's a pure second stringer that is one of the stars of a New Cartoon...(ahem) Hulk and Agents of Smash. He became a potential short packed variant and viola....a HTF that is inflated by the OCD collectors.

I personally wanted him to want him, But I'm a Big Hulk Fan. and as a figure of the big green's sidekick made real, it's a interesting choice.
