here are some photos of local spots selection since I was bored: For NY'ers this is in Bronx,NY in the Pelham Parkway area...near 2 train. those fricking Iron-man's have held up way too much peg space. The Marvel Legends were against another wall and the Marvel Select in the back. Like I told many other guys who asked, check out those little mom and pop discount shops, the ones that sell umbrellas and bags in NY, some inside local mom and pop videogame spots. they sometimes have old figures sitting on pegs for months, even years at a time. (prices vary greatly per figure, depending on if they think something is of value or not)

this one, the old one... It's Black and Silver....I remember it always being black and silver but if it was grey, then yeah, it's black and silver now.

not that I saw, But didn't notice the Iron-Spiderman, but the rest looked the same, just packaging no longer has the comic shots or Stands (if they had them originally that is) paint jobs looked a little sloppier too.

FYI I think this wave but somebody already bought all the Rhino's before I got there.... hercules and Night Hawk must be old Pegwarmers...

BX, New York.... Grabbed one of the new Astonishing wolverines....they no longer have the Stand packed in. also saw the X-force Silver Wolverine, Red Hulk (old Buck not new),Punisher, Scarlet Witch, Thanos, Hercules, Night Hawk, Spiderman and Nova's Galore surprisingly. I see the price dropping on Nova fast if they packed that many. My guess my local spot missed the Elektra Wave entirely and picked up that new revision wave instead bummer.

yeah, unfortunately variants come out as HTF then go straight to Impossible when the regular releases come out. the price isn't horrible either. but I think A-bomb is the variant not Abomination...at least that would make more sense...

yeah just got in the mail a couple of those Avengers sets I grabbed on the cheap thru Walmart.com..... I guess I wasn't so lucky.... ALOT of Iron-mans and Captain Americas (though Military Camouflage and the Snowboard look cool), but on the plus side I got a set of the Warriors 3 and the Destroyer between the 2 packs. Not horrible for 30 bucks, I know a bunch of toys going to Charity.

I hate when greedy people be they Scalpers, hoarders or even well meaning collectors buying everything for others (seriously have you seen toy intervention or extreme couponers...scary) empty out a store leaving nothing behind for other people who live in the neighborhood or nearby is callous. good Kids (sorry hate spoiled brats), then collectors, then whatever.....that should be the order. But Yeah it may be a post you made that turned me on to 4 Horsemen, I would love them to do some dragonmen/demons or other animals. that Raven did look cool as heck, would make a fantastic Tengu for my collection. I'm not a big Elephant person so the line of a half dozen or so Elephants,rhinos etc...looked amazing but wasn't my taste..Although that minotaur may become a future acquisition. If they explored more reptilian,Avian, and mythological humanoid hybrids, I'd be there. I still have my Stan Winston Realm of the claws and love those. Heck even the name Seventh Kingdom seems to cry out to Realm of the Claw in a weird way. I Kick myself for selling my Extreme Gargoyles when I was in need of space and serious cash a few years ago. Scarabus, Exclusive figure made and sold direct by the 4 horsemen.(dudes behind Motu at mattel and a lot of the Mcfarlane stuff back in the days) Articulation is great and lots of alternate hands,staff parts and alternate faces. I plan to use him as a giant demon/nephilim for my collection.
