EXCELLENT! One of my favorite titles of all time. :-) If they did a boxed set of this team as an SDCC exclusive, I would spend just ridiculously ungodly amounts of money to get my hands on it.

Aw man, wish I'd seen this earlier - I've got a CLoak and Abomination MOC for anyone who wants to trade me for Dagger. Somebody didn't tell TRU's website guy that Hasbro is being wonky.

Got my (unintended) spare Abomination and Cloak in today. If anybody is willing to trade a Dagger for one or both of those, just let me know and they're yours. On a slightly related note, I wish I had better customization skills, because the Cloak head and cape would make a great starting point for The Shroud on the standard male buck. One of my favorite more under-the-radar characters. :-)

Yes if you pre-ordered the set of Wave 3, BBTS said they are filling those orders from the new case (with Dagger and A-Bomb). I would probably snag Cloak and Abomination while you still can and trade or sell them if you don't get Dagger/A-Bomb from BBTS. Better safe than sorry.My set should be on my doorstep by 5 pm today, so fingers crossed. I'm a sad panda. I got Abomination and Cloak from BBTS. I'd trade the pair for an A-Bomb. Also have Elektra and Professor X MOC as trade fodder. Aw crap ... Sorry man. I'm hoping mine don't turn out the same way, but now that I've ordered from HTS, I'm having a bad feeling that maybe they will. :-( Well ... crap. My BBTS order was Abomination and CLoak too. Are people who ordered the full set from BBTS when it first went up (before we were even entirely aware of the whole variant situation) seeing Cloak / Abomination in their shipment or Dagger / A-Bomb? I pre-ordered the first day it went up, and am supposed to get it today - but if it's Dagger / A-Bomb, I wanna jump on HTS and order Cloak / Abomination now. Thanks!

Happy Birthday Clam! Thanks for making the site run. :-) Also, where are people seeing the new wave? Regular retail, or specialty stores? I'm kinda peeved that BBTS hasn't even sent a notification that pre-orders are in for shipping yet, when people are seeing these out in the wild now.

Got my Professor X / Blastaar / Jubilee shipment today - Professor X looks great, though I'm kind of wishing I hadn't taken him out of the packaging before i got home - the hover chair seems like one good jostle could snap the plastic. Jubilee didn't have any breakage or wrong part issues, though she does have the wonky eyes that seem to be an intermittent issue on this one. Blastaar was the variant (Woo hoo!) which I was hoping for, mostly because it's just kind of a boring figure otherwise. The translucent hands are about as close to an "action feature" as we get on this line. However, as I was working his joints to loosen them up, I realized that the thigh swivel peg on his right leg was stuck and turning it was actually twisting the plastic of the peg. Stopped before it broke off, but I'm gonna need to be more ginger with him on posing to make sure he doesn't break. If I see another Blastaar in the wild somewhere down the road (which is probable - the non-variant on this is a likely peg-warmer for this wave), I'll snag him and switch the whole leg out. Anyway - Yay new figures!

The green and yellow one? You can always make him Deadpool's buddy Bob. Ha! Totally - I was thinking that too! He just looks so competent though ... Maybe he can be Bob on a sad day. ;-)

Eh ... screw it. I'm opening the comic colors Hydra Attack Trooper. He doesn't match my other Hydra guys, but he can just be special.

Picked up the Hulk / FA Wolverine 2-pack last week at Target - I've already got a single carded new Hulk coming my way from BBTS, but honestly, I was just so strung out after a year with no new figures that I caved. I justified it by the fact that I never bought the single card of that Wolverine, and this version definitely looks better, but I think that's just junkie logic talking. :-) Also picked up the FF Dr. Doom / Spiderman 2-pack at TRU earlier this week, and am pretty excited to have a complete Hickman FF team on my shelf now. They also had a comic colors Hydra trooper from the Captain America movie line at TRU which I snagged. I'm debating opening it, because I've really wanted one of these for a while, but I also know with all the new figures finally coming out I might be in need of trade fodder, so if there's anybody else who wants a comic colors Hydra figure, let me know. One thing that did strike me upon picking up the new figures is that, while I am not a scale stickler by any means, there are some scale issues that are kind of jarring - The new Hulk figure looks amazing, but when I put it with my Defenders grouping on my shelf, he's barely taller than Namor. Likewise, the new FF Spiderman is finally poseable enough to do some rad poses, but he's almost a head taller than Reed Richards if you stand them up straight side by side. It's slightly jarring, but ... eh. Scale obsession is probably not a rabbit hole I wanna crawl down. Overall, really excited to finally get my hands on some new figures after so long.
