  1. Really? That actually makes sense in a weird way. Gi Joe is back into the new aisle reset and the Wal-Mart I went to pulled The Gi Joes from the clearance section and put them back into the action figure aisle.
  2. My Joes should be here Tuesday. Ordered a case from HTS Great wave IMO. Steel Brigade is fantastic.
  3. Finally saw remnants of the Cable wave this morning at Wal-Mart. Glad I had ordered a case of these as they have been scarce in these parts. I did score the new Gi Joe Wave. The Jungle Bat and Steel Brigade are sweet! Passed on Cobra Commander and Blowtorch as I really don't need any more renditions of either of these figures.
  4. Finally found Crossbones and Red Skull at Target. Also picked up the Cap 3-pack at K-mart, which is awesome because now I never have to go there again. Anyone seen Thor series 2 at store level yet?
  5. Aw, hate to see a crossbones left in the wild. Poor Thing. R.I.P. Macho Man......
  6. Stopped at Wal-Mart at lunch and I was excited to see an employee bringing out the Captain America figures. I was immediately disappointed to learn that a different employee had already taken the Red Skull and Crossbones figures. At least the guy who was stocking the shelves was cool and honest about it. So this is now the 3rd time I have come inches short of getting these figures.
  7. Stopped by K-Mart last night and unfortunately they had nothing. In fact, it almost looked like they were about to do an aisle reset, but then again, this is Kmart and most of the store looked like that. I just wish someone would put Kmart out of its misery. Really can’t comprehend how it is still in business.
  8. Stopped at TRU at lunch and a fellow collector nicely left a pile of the X-Men boxed sets on the ground as to say “No need to go through these, there are no variants”. The Captain America and Thor endcaps look great....if they actually had more action figures that is. Half of the Captain America Endcap were Motorcycles and almost all of the Thor was dress-up and play weapons. The Green Lantern cube is collecting dust, as is the aisle section. I can’t believe that Mattel considers articulation to be for adult collectors. Kids are not stupid. I remember my mom would sometimes buy me knock-off gi-joes from the supermarket that had no knee or elbow joints and I knew right away they were garbage. Isn’t it sad that the Green Lantern line has the same amount of articulation as Secret Wars did some 25 years ago? Have not seen a new Gi Joe figure since the shock trooper wave and I think Hasbro has stopped shipping Star Wars altogether.
  9. Pictures please!! How does it look? They do look pretty sweet, only $20 as well!! Thank you! Looks like I am stopping at KMart on the way home. (My kmart is so old and gross I can't stand it)
  10. Thanks Ogun for posting the info about Kmart, now I no longer need Crossbones!
  11. Tried to upload a pic, but it keeps saying I do not have permission....
  12. Found remnants of Cap series 2 already. (Wal-Mart) Crossbones and Redskull were already taken, but I was able to get US Agent and Captain Britain. I can post pics tonight if anyone cares.... I really want the Crossbones, so if anyone finds an extra, please think of me
  13. I stumbled upon an aisle refresh at Target (RTE 22) and was able to pick up the Cap figures. The blue paint that was used is pretty horrific, but that didn’t stop me from buying them. Also, I noticed there are 2 versions of the off-road vehicle which I thought was weird. One has a more realistic paint job. Now I wait for series 2 of Thor and Cap.... Non Marvel---I still keep missing out on the 2 latest Clone Wars waves and the Heath Slater WWE 2-Pack. If you think Hasbro is bad with case assortments, they have nothing on Mattel....
  14. FOund the X-Men boxed set finally off of Route 22. Now I can stop going to TRU at lunch
  15. Entertainment Earth has Thor series 2 in stock, so I guess that means we will start seeing these in stores soon.
  16. Got my Wave 13 case in and both Gladiator paint apps are horrible. I am going to have to frankenstein the 2 figures to make one decent figure. Has anyone seen the either the x-men box set or Lizard in the north east yet?
  17. Finally got my X-Force Archangel in the mail today...I was beginning to worry. Also recieved the new comic packs from smalljoes. I am a little disappointed in Deadpools head, other then that, great sets. As for the local stores...nothing. Its been really scarce in Northern Jersey. I did manage to find a shock trooper at walgreens.
  18. "Scalpers" will find the figures wether you post here or not. They have made it their job to hunt down figures for a living. HElp out your fellow collectors and post the locations or at least area. It helps us know where to look and where not to look. I think I can speak for the masses here, but if you post something like this "Found wave 13 today, now I am caught up!" you are pretty much saying nothing.
  19. Awful. I hate hearing stuff like this. Events like this cause people like me to order cases out of fear....
  20. How many come in a set at EE? I see the wave 13 set for $99 has only 9 figures shown. Do you get doubles of any of the because most cases have 12 like on BBTS and such. 2 wolverines 2 apokolypse 2 gladiators 1 iron Man 1 Spider-Woman 1 Cable 1 World War Hulk 1 Cyclops 1 Spider-man 2099
  21. Just got my shipping confirmation from Entertainment Earth for my Wave 13 Case. I will have extras for trade when I get it in. Also got my shipping confirmation for the new Comic Packs from Small Joes. Can it be that I am all caught up with the exception of Lizard and Scorpion? Amazing
  22. Got my Mandarin wave case in today from BBTS. Needless to say, I will have some extras to trade from this case. Still have no idea why he is 1 per case.
  23. Yikes, I just realized that a lot of fans first memories are from the TV shows and not the comics.... I feel old
