Found both Gigantic Battles sets this morning at Wal-Mart. I was really worried about finding these, but luck was on my side this time around. At 25$ a pop, I was not able to pick up the remaining set, sorry guys. Also worth mentioning is that there was at least 3 revision cases on the pegs. Dare I say they are starting to peg warm?

Well, had today off so I decided to hit up TRU at opening. When I pulled in there were already 6 scalpers lined up at the door (in the rain no less). As soon as the doors opened, they ran for the action Figure aisles and grabbed anything that looked rare. They then proceeded to hound the floor manager and asked what else they got on the truck. No toy was safe, Hot Wheels, Marvel, WWE...legos...they knew what they were doing. When they saw me enter the aisles, they looked me over like I was an intruder. I literally laughed out loud and shook my head. This is the job they have chosen and they can be at any store at any given time. Gotta love collecting toys in Northern New Jersey.

The one thing I need to add to this debate about people who think they are getting the original Vision and Warpath from HTS is this...look at the figure/case breakdown from the website..it is a straight up revision case. If this was old stock that they magically got in, wouldnt the other figures from the original assortments be on the website too? Think about it....

LOL. A wal-mart in my area has like 10 Shawdow Trackers, 10 Low Lights, and 15 Skydives. Maybe I should troop build Skydive. I love that fig. My Wal-Mart has 10 Destros, 10 Dusty's and 10 Snake Eyes.....wanna trade wal-marts?

I am starting a new job in a week so that means that I will no longer be able to stop at the Target that was next to my old job. Having that Target was the only way I was able to constantly find what I needed. That being said, I went and pre-ordered a case for wave 13 and 14 from EE. Needless to say, I will have a lot of extras to trade when the time comes.

I feel everyone's pain, trust me. The Target I stop at before work had not received an order of figures since the Marvel Universe endcap from last fall. Now all of a sudden, they get in boxes every week. Ironically, the other Target I frequent which is closer to my home has now dried up.

Its more of a dream than a reality. North Jersey has a heavy scalper presence. When I worked at KB toys in the late nineties, they used to line up at the back of the building and watch us unload the trucks to see what we would get in.

Target is the place to go for the Variant cases. They put another 3 cases out today. I would have loved to of picked some up for trades but I need to be good with money right now. They still had 2 Warpaths, 3 Daredevils and 3 Moonstones left. I always feel so guilty leaving figures behind, but hopefully a fellow collector or kid will grab them.

Habrotoyshop has done this to me in the past as well.

Went back to Target at lunch and nothing.....well, there was something and it is something that disturbs me. Somebody returned the Dr. Doom Secret Wars Comic pack and swapped out the figures for 2 Gi Joe figures. I HATE seeing this, and unfortunately, I see this often. TO anyone who practices this scam, shame on you.

Picked up a Skrull and another Phasing vision today at Target. They were putting out a palette of new toys so I am going to stop by again at lunch to see if they had more stuff. The Phasing Vision is available for trade. Really need a Mandarin.........

Finally! I picked up the Moonstone, Daredevil and Warpath variants at Target this morning. My aggressive strategy of stopping at Target everyday before work paid off. Couple that with the phasing vision I found a few weeks back, I am all caught up on Marvel Universe. Now I can rest....Until the Mandarin wave starts popping up regularly.

Stopped by Target before work and they started doing the reset. They had about a foot of Thor product. Picked up Odin, Loki and the Frost Giant. There was still nothing but empty pegs for Marvel Universe, Spider-Man and Iron Man.....

Stopped at a Target i do not usually go to today and they had about 2 feet of Thor product on shelf. The single carded figures where already picked through and all desirables were gone. I was able to get the deluxe frost giant though.

My local walmart is so pathetic. They have never carried marvel universe and rarely stock anything. The clearance section is larger than the toy section. I dont even know why I still go. Besides the one random revision case I saw last week at target, my area has been a ghost town regarding new figures.

My local Targets have zero Marvel Universe on shelves. Great promotion incentive to buy the video game... Also, my local TRU's seem to be doing a reset as the shelves are almost completely barren in the action figure aisles.

Found Phasing Vision at Target today. Also picked up a Black Panther and Jean Grey. The Jean Grey is available for trade. Also worth mentioning, the Black Widow was the red-headed version. I left Moon Night and Grey Hulk in the wild.

Yeah, check TRU for the Thanos wave. My local TRU had at least 4-5 cases. I picked up 2 Thanos and 1 Yellow Jacket for trades. Mikado, you still looking for these? See my wants in my signature. Really need a Mattel Michele McCool....

Sorry Mikado, I know I felt so bad leaving them there. I had to buy Adobe Creative Suite 5 at the apple store, and lets just say, I will be eating PB& J for the next year.

My local Disney store had the Thanos wave. I left them in the wild. Had at least 2 complete sets at 9.50 a figure. I would have picked them up for trades but I am broke right now

Saw another complete set of Wave 12 today at TRU. This wave is everywhere. Wave 11 is definitely the rare wave of the year.

Don't worry Mikado, I have your back on these 2 figures. I will keep my eyes out for you
