  1. anytime you can pay 10 for an MU figure at a toy show/con is a deal. i got my long haired winter soldier for the same price at a con.
  2. if the bottom of the box has been stamped/branded with a serial number, then it is the black one. the tank pictured on the back of the box is also in black now. if you want to be sure, open it. it's what i did. ross workers don't pay attention to anyone.
  3. i just bought two galactus last night for 20 each but i went out this morning. here's what i saw: TRU Express: X-Men Origins Wolverine Cyclops, Ice Man, Unmasked Comic Series Wolverine Marvel Universe wave 8-10 pegwarmers but they had all of the comic 2pks that have been released. they also have the Cobra Night Raven for 20.00. would make a decent Blackbird for your X-men figs. Kohls: a ton of IM2 drones, if you hate to pay 10.99 for these figs at kohls, they are 7.99 as of today as well as all the other figures there like sw legends, clone wars, and vintage. also saw a ton of spidey figs like rhino, doc ock, and carnage. Burlington Coat Factory: wal-mart exclusive gi joe 2pks for 7.99 (tunnel rat/monkey wrench) & (night creeper/shockblast) Marshall's: a ton of gi joe ROC for 4.99, gi joe HoH for 5.99 (get the crimson guard for a good steve rogers/clint barton head), comic 2pks for 6.99 (be on the look out for the metal cobra comander with the non-ski mask head; good head piece for customs and also the (beachead/mainframe), vehicles for cheap as well like sw vehicles or gi joe vehicles (stand out to me is the firebat blue repaint from gijoe ROC for 8.99; good vehicle for your nick fury or shield troopers). they also had some ben10 vehicles that might be scale with MU. Ross: if your MU figs need vehicles, Ross is the best place to get gi joe vehicles. white hiss tank is 8.99, 25th ghost hawk is 8.99, new black hiss tank and cobra fury is 11.99 (a great deal if you ask me, i haven't seen these anywhere else either). they also have the sw birth of darth vader for 11.99 (i only bring it up cause it has cool piece like an operating table and other lil dio-accessories). hope that helped anyone...
  4. saw the wwh wave at target minus spider-woman (who i was hunting for). 6 xBE IM, 4x doc samson, 3x captain marvel and a single spidey 2099 (would have gotten it if not for the horrible paint job). picked up captain marvel. still on the hunt for a yellow jacket.
  5. picked up thanos and constrictor at target and sw spidey & thunderball at tru. saw an entire case of ML 2pks but passed. deadpool/warpath & val/hulk look good though.
  6. what's wrong with that??? you bought the figure you took the coupon from, right?? I don't think you did anything wrong. yeah you're right, i think i didn't do anything wrong but if an employee were to see you opening packages in the store, it might look to them like i'm shoplifting. i don't need employees recognizing my face since i'm in there all the time hiding figs or jacking their pallettes before they put stuff out. and also what if i had bought four figs from this line that didnt have a coupon? i would have to open another fig that i prolly wouldnt buy since the coupons are only in one wave.
  7. maaan, once you display all your stuff in the man-cave you gotta take pix. how many hours do you spend a day in there? i only ask cause once i'm in my cave, i'm like a bear chillin'.
  8. damn rodimus, that bike is awesome, what toyline is it from and do they have other vehicles in scale with 3 3/4?
  9. i dont condone this but i bought 4 iron man figures and while i was in line at the reg, i took a coupon out of one of the figs i was getting. and it worked. and yes, wal-mart employees will do anything to get you out of that line and to the net customer...
  10. nothing new around no-cal: san jo area unless other dudes swooped up on wave 11 already. went to a tru just now and it looked to be the same isht these past couple of days. did pick up a single carded whiplash for trade lmk.
  11. damn really? were they about 10.99 a fig or less? what waves were they? if kohl's gets toys more often, it'll kinda be like how mervyn's was back in the 80's and 90's. i used to get all my joes and tf from there. sadly i bet some kids are like 'what's mervyn's?'. smh @my age.
  12. how are the prices there at kohl's for single figs? and did you see any vehicles at all for either lines?
  13. sorry bro, since i opened the figs i kinda tossed everything to the side. hit me up with a pm of the info you needed and i'll try to get that to you. again sorry for the late reply... -ARS
  14. update 2 even after working graveyard, even after going to wal-mart to cop that carnage, i still haven't slept. i wanted to get a mem card for my cam to take pics so i went to target. picked up the dark phoenix pack just minutes ago: and here's a better pic of carnage and ben reilly: i'll post more in the action thread later. let me get some rest!
  15. @essjkid no prob broseph; we'll catch that carnage too! *update: went to wal-mart this morning after work and got carnage. if you're lucky, he's not in the inventory system. at the register it said item not found. i just told the lady it was 5.99 but i think it's like 7.00 plus. she gave it to me for the price i said. mind you i was extra polite since it's monday morning...got to charm them. i also saw the single card whiplash. i was tempted to get it only for the whips but i got the three pack one from target. (side note: same thing happened to me with the three pack. it wasn't found in the inventory. i told the cashier it was 5.99. gave it to me for said price. so if the item is not in the inventory, chances are the cashier will just ask you how much it's for. they prolly dont want to go thru the hassle of a price check. has this happened to anyone else on a sorta-kinda-constant basis?).
