  1. So I went to ToysRUs in Foster City, CA... they had multiples of the new singles (psylocke wave) and a bunch of the new avengers stuff. All this at buy 2 get 1 free.. 8 something each.. Well, I ended up with not getting anything since I already had that wave. I was tempted to get for trading or whatever but then again, I didn't. Not sure if they're still all there but a few people started coming and pegs were getting emptied. Most of the Legends were gone. Didn't wanna pick up toys that I wasn't planning to keep since this toysrus is usually barren.
  2. Maybe that includes tax? There's one Target near my area that charges $9.59 per MU figure and when it rings up, it's just $9.60 and nothing more. I also bought a MU 2 pack which had a tag of $16.99 and it came out to $17 flat. Tax not included. The 2 packs were @ 17.99.. like it's been for awhile. I hope this isn't a trend w/ target because that's all I have around me.... The closest good Walmart is in the east bay from the SF Peninsula. (the Menlo Park Walmart sucks)
  3. Oh no! My buddy went to Sunnyvale Target and the MU Singles were going for $11.59!! If this keeps up, I'm going to get real picky with the figures... 11.59.. wow!
  4. Thanks. I'll definitely check that out.. I hope I can save my figs from stickiness.
  5. Sharpie? Please tell me you didn't. I've done that before, and I'm regretting it now. My Spider armor Spidey, and Cosmic Spidey are all sticky now, and have lint, and dust all stuck to them. I suggest painting over it now before you forget about it, and go back one day and silver sharpie sticks to your fingers. I'm planning on painting X's silver gray. I like the black, and gray because it makes more sense for stealth ops than shiny silver. agreed. i siver sharpied a marvel legends colossus 2 years ago. i can still use him to draw silver onto another chracter if i wished. that stuff does not seem to dry...especially on the softer rubber limbs. LOL.. I think I'm beginning to see now... I had a baroness that i sharpied black (bored @ work), and that was 3-4 years ago.. it's still good.. dry and not rubbing off.. But it's the silver sharpie that's a problem... Maybe I can seal it or something.. So far they dried but I can see how you can still rub off the silver pretty easily. I guess these guys will be the display, don't touch type. hehehe I'm not very good w/ a paint brush.. :-\ It also does make sense that gray would be better for stealth ops stuff but the silver just looks cool. Oh and my little 3 year old already knows not to touch the "sticky" marvel. :-)
  6. I went sharpie crazy and did one of my archangels in x-force garb too...
  7. Ah... here is the trio done w/ sharpie...
  8. Not quite a custom but more of a repaint (with a sharpie even).. I don't like the dull gray of the X-Force pack but wanted them to complement X-23, even better I don't have the single X-Force Wolvie nor do I have Warpath... So I went to go pick up a silver sharpie and got down to it... finished wolvie and deadpool has his torso to go... Here's a comparison shot of Wolverine and non sharpied Warpath.
  9. Got the new single wave from my buddy who picked it up @ Target Serramonte Daly City today. No 2 packs yet. Hope to see those at the toy fair tomorrow. Also got Mandarin and Whiplash in the mail and Showdown Doc Oc.
  10. MarvelNinjah, no revisions.. Just a bunch of re-releases... No revision on the x-men box either, was hoping to see the half clear nightcrawler.
  11. A good haul day today. On my way to Disneyland, I scored the 2 giant battle packs at Gilroy Walmart (only ones there), then I got 2 x-men packs (1 for my buddy) from Santa Clarita TRU. they still had about 5 boxes when I left. The Walmart next door had tons of singles that I already had. Was tempted to add to my skrull army but decided against it. Just need more luck for apocalypse and cable... Sigh
  12. I did this Hank Pym custom a while back used a G.I. Joe full face helmet from the PIT Commando figure, Recently redid the antennae with some smalled gauge wire looks better now. That's an awesome Hank Pym. Wish I had the skills to do these customs you guys do.
