I still think the original Secret Wars 2 pack Cap is, all around, the best Cap made to date at any scale.
My favorites are still the Invaders cap and the TRU light up base Cap. Pretty much upgraded versions of the Secret Wars Cap.
The movie line comic series figures had weird arms and the new MU one is just lazy IMO.

Avengers Assemble figs were found at my Targets, and they are busted looking. Good job Hasbro.
The 5 POA All-Stars or the full articulation wave? Surprised these haven't shown up in that many stores yet.

I wouldn't mind seeing a green Falcon or tall-head Leader. Yelena would be a nice variant for Widow, but I don't that's going to happen.

I doubt it will either but you never know (surprise Hydra & Red Skull variants for the Captain America line).
Belova would be ace, hell I still want that custom Sharon Carter they showed 2 SDCC's ago. That I'm pretty sure was Black Widow painted white w/ a blond head.

This line is for the cartoon and it makes sense that there's characters from the cartoon. The fact that they are re-using decent molds and putting out some characters that are either new (Leader) or needed a re-release (comic Red Skull) is a nice bonus. Black Widow & Falcon are arguably upgrades.
I'm glad that these are half-way decent figures that don't have the usual "cartoon look" (see Wolverine & The X-Men). It's not MU quality but at least it's not t-crotch Assemblers.
As much as Hasbro drops the ball, there's not much reason to complain about a figure line for a cartoon that will probably only last 2 or 3 waves. Who knows, if this makes it to a wave 3 we could see needed villains like Molecule Man, Dracula, Modok & Ulik (all in the show).0 -

Hulk and Falcon aren't re-used movie parts

Hulk is obvious but for some reason I thought Falcon used pieces of the IM2 Guardsman. I guess it was the similar torso.

Yeah... I'm really surprised they made a brand new mold for Iron Man considering everyone else is re-used movie parts. He's better than the Assemblers but still kind of a dud. Hell they could have just put a circular reactor on the MU Wave 1 Iron Man.

I ACTUALLY FOUND A FIGURE TODAY! TARGET HAD SCARLET WITCH! Also, Target now carries Doctor Who on DVD and blu-ray! Double-score!
How is Target's pricing for Doctor Who? I usually go with Amazon because Best Buy's pricing is ridiculously bad for BBC sets. Did they have Torchwood?

one just really has to wonder how far along Hasbro got in production of these things before they were pulled from the lineup? If they were pretty far along in getting these made and ready to go out the door, then I can see Foom still coming out.
If they didn't, well then, chances are slim I think. Then again, maybe for IM3?
and yes I realize that this isn't new tooling - but wasn't the head new or something? i thought it had electronics in it of some sort. Lights? Sound?
Head is new, some tooling on the torso to add the button. Oh and the NEW REMOVABLE PURPLE PANTS THEY ADDED.
I hope Hasbro's not dumb enough to pull a Sentinel and release the Orange at retail and make Green the variant.

you and me both...If they release these I see this like the color correct sentinel....the variant version everybody wants....but still cheaper than the BAF version.

Looking on EE, I see that Kang and all of wave 18 will be shipping for several more revision cases, but I think Paper Bag Spidey is going to be a one off. Anyone got an extra they'd like to sell or trade? I have a carded Avengers BW...
I'm almost certain Paper Bag Spider-Man will be included with Wave 21. (Professor X, Blastaar, Jubilee). He was in the cases that leaked into Mexico early.

It doesn't seem to be advertised but Target is having a sale on MU. Just to clear the pegs I bought 3 Psylockes, 3 Gladiators, and 2 Storms for $7.99 each. This is confirmed for Cali and S. Florida at least.
I'll most likely dump these off at another store but if anyone needs custom fodder let me know.

Yesterday I was on the Miami International Airport, Doral area, and it was one of the most dissapointed days of my life, first, The BestBuy was out of the Avengers BR steelbook, no Spectacular Spider-Man season 2 DVDs, then the TRUs that was suppost to be right in
There's a TRU Express/Outlet in Sawgrass that stocks a lot of MU. Ignore the outlet title, it's new stuff at regular prices.
The Marshalls at Sawgrass had like 4 comic Sentinels a month ago.
