  1. Finally scored the OG colored Sentinel at the same Marshall's that another user posted about. They had about 5 so I picked the best one. Now to find a way to get rid of the silver one...

    5!

I'm hoping mine are as abundant as yours.

I'd probably buy them all if i saw them and get rid of my silver ones.

Yeah and that's after another member apparantly picked up 9! I thought for sure he would have cleaned them out.

  2. I'm not sure when Iceman sported the big 'X' on his chest but I feel like that would have been a better addition to this set and they should have released the one in this set on a single card.

And I like this set but the only thing worse than another Wolverine is another Iron Man. And the only thing worse than another Iron Man is another Cyclops. Seriously, I already have 4 and none of them are the astonishing one that I really want.

  3. My local Wally worlds/Targets/TRU have had the same crap on the shelves for weeks now! When the heck do these stores start to fully restock with new merchandise? I'm tired of wasting gas driving around & seeing the same s^%$ on the pegs day in day out! I know that if I resort to ordering online, the very next day the pegs will be full of new stuff!

Like others have said here, the lack of product after the holidays happens every year. Some retailers do inventory and aisle resets so it wouldn't make sense to receive a deluge of product during that time. If you really want to save time & gas then resume your hunt in early March.

You'd think Hasbro would learn from this and, I donno, not release waves during this time. They're obviously not selling many since no stores are even bothering stocking them.

  4. I think part of it is that most eBay sellers do Buy It Now and jack the price up to its supposed "worth". Then it sits there for a year and no one wants to go near it. Putting an item up for action is the only way to find it's true value. An item is only worth what someone will pay for it. Although I do agree that seller probably just screwed up in this case.

I just sold all of my Palisades Muppets figures. People had some of the rarer ones up for $150-$300 for a single figure! I put mine up for action and they sold for $50-$75 which is probably closer to their real value. Also a lot of it was sold to Europeans since our dollar is barely worth the paper its printed on. So they can go a little higher without feeling ripped off.

  5. Just scored an Iron Fist, Guardian, Electro (variant), and Iceman thanks to Jason1551 and Wolverine2281.

Iron Fist - kinda meh but I wanted him to pal around with modern Luke Cage

Guardian - I love the metallic red paint but once again the wash is kinda terrible. I'm really hoping they keep the red for future alpha flight members (unlike what they did to X-force) and fix the wash.

Electro - awesome. Finally a figure that fits that terrible body sculpt.

Iceman - Cool figure but they really missed the target with accessory. I nice ice slide would have been great. I have no idea why they made the X-Force version either. I guess it's easier to paint an "X" on a figure than mold an x-belt.

    Thanks again forum homies.
