I was actually the seller believe it or not, funny the buyer turned out to be a forumite. Yeah I was showing my collection to my brother in law and we turned our back on my 2year old niece for 20 seconds max. Next thing I know she has my Fantastic Four ride in the TOILET. And the last person to use it hadn't flushed. I did have the box though, so I figured what the hell - eBay and start at $5 and see what happens. No returns.

Not that this means too much, but BBTS is showing Aurora, and EE is showing Northstar. BBTS: EE:

It is bizarre how we are getting cases in the US before any of the new figures hit ebay. I don't think I've seen it play out this way yet. These figures could be super HTF or packed onto pegs in stores everywhere this Christmas, or anything inbetween. The unique rollout scenario with few early leaks and preorders appearing and shipping to us without warning, combined with it being the last wave of a cancelled line probably lends itself to the HTF scenario. Wednesday October 30ish +\- 1 is the day it looks like I'm getting a case from EE, a case from BBTS, and a set of the new 4 from BBTS. I have no clue what to expect of the Northstar/Aurora situation. My best guess is this will be like Miles Morales/classic Ultimate Spidey variant situation except with much higher secondary market prices. Half of us will get Northstar right on day one of deliveries, the other half Aurora. I do not think we are getting a revision wave. It will not surprise me to see $50-75 price tags on Nothstar and Aurora at least for a month but potentially longer as they are basically not even 1 x case, they are probably 0.5 x case and in extremely high demand. Anyone see this differently? On a side note, anyone got a 7.0+ Hulk 181, X-Men 2, or ASM 14 they want to trade me for a 7.0+ Giant Size X-Men #1?

Seriously this came out of nowhere. I ordered one case, we'll see the Northstar/Aurora situation when it gets here in a week CA to NY. I'll leave my BBTS preorders alone for the moment.

I would army build the #$## out of these if they even remotely resembled the comic book characters.

Prices will drop, be a little patient. Give it 2 lousy weeks. I was thinking about your Abomination panic buy yesterday believe it or not. I went to 2 TRUs and a Target and found 6 Abominations. Picked up 2 more for different reasons at $8.00 each, plus tax.

I ordered them from hts last night. I figured I would never see them in a store Saw them in TRU Express last night. Dark Elf too.

Oh there is zero comparison between AoA Nightcrawler and 616 Nightcrawler. Read just one issue of Uncanny X-Force (Remender/Opena) if there is any doubt. AoA Kurt is a bloodthirsty, vengeful, homicidal maniac. I loved what he did in Uncanny X-Force 24 so much I had Remender sign it at Comic-Con. 616 Nightcrawler, conversely, as you all know is a saint. I like AoA better :)

I would buy one, but I've never ordered from that site and I don't want to learn how to order from them. This just means they'll start popping up soon on ebay from Chinese sellers anyway. Not for me. I got Mysterio/Elektra at first on Amazon then at TRU, now the "revision" I'm seeing at Target and Wally.

Both Hulk head swaps are dramatic improvements.

I checked out the Target and Walmart resets yesterday in OC NY. My closestTarget has 4 MU pegs and had the Elektra revision wave. My closest Walmart had 2 MU pegs and the Nova/Hercules wave. The Wally and Target next most frequented had no pegs for MU.

That's where we are, who needs retailers to order the cases when you can do it yourself. I couldn't do it as a 6 year old collecting Kenner Star Wars, but I can now and I order the case almost every wave. Doesn't get any easier.

The thing about Abomination and Cloak is that we don't know how quick these are going to dry up and convert to A-Bomb and Dagger because of their variant status. Bag Man dried up right away and switched to Future Foundation Spidey. Translucent Strange dried up quick and converted to regular Strange. Some variants like Blastaar aren't as bad. But we don't know which way this is going to go. I don't mind spending $15 for Abomination and Cloak, or Dagger and A-Bomb for that matter. It's a small hedged bet to ward off a $50-75 price tag later. The rest of the wave I'm getting for $9.99 at TRU or Walmart no sweat. By the way, with $6-8 gas minimum to go on a toy hunt (probably repeated hunts) and sales tax, the figures cost the same or more as Kokomo even if you find them at brick and mortar.

eBay's kokomo-toys has carded Cloak and Abomination in stock for 16.00 but will accept $15.00 if you offer. More proof the first rollout is 2 x Cloak and 2 x Abomination. That's a given now.

BBTS always seems like it's last to ship with their preorders. They got that Elektra wave like a month later than everyone else. I had that case preordered too and just cancelled it because I got it a month earlier with Amazon. With BBTS, outside shot it won't even be Cloak or Abomination by the time they get their's. That's the nature of variant figures. If you go Snipertoy, you're guaranteed Cloak and Blonsky. And it'll be in your mailbox in less than a week. Go BBTS, who knows. It's no big thing you'll end up with all of it anyhow.

Check that he put up another bunch of cases now. Abomination and Cloak in stock for $16 a piece with dirt cheap shipping. Mmm I notice that these ebay sellers tick the price up a buck or two every time they sell 5 and relist more.

Snipertoy posted some cases overnight. Cloak, Abomination and Grey Hulk for $15 each. Now thats a decent deal considering the unknown variant situation. Interesting more early cases devoid of Dagger and A-Bomb like I predicted. I bet next month's revision case has no Cloak or Abomination. It'll be 1xDagger and 1xA-Bomb.
