New Iron Man Legends figures?
That would mean there are still four new figures to be announced... And possibly a new BAF. Mmmhh... All I want is something like: Alrdich Killian, Heartbreaker (Shotgun Variant), Marvel NOW! Iron Man, Red Snapper (Striker Variant), BAF: Igor. Character variant would be a more than nice way to introduce more armors!
Hopefully they will be released in September along IM3's DVD/Blu-ray release

This Neo-Classic Iron Man armor (MODEL IX) was created by Tony Stark after a confrontation against Firepower, which left the Silver Centurion armor destroyed.
It first appeared in Iron Man #231
And a further desing added the bigger boots.
This armor was then replaced by the Teleprecense Armor in Iron Man #290, but we have to remember Tony faked his death in Iron Man #284, so it lasted from 1988 to 1992.

I think it's cool if Hasbro makes more Iron Man Armors, but what bothers me is Hasbro releasing old Iron Man Armors instead the armor the character is currently using. Hasbro made Extremis Iron Man when Tony was using Bleeding Edge, and we didn't have Bleeding Edge action figure yet, even if Iron Man will apparently change his armor after AvX.

I think Hasbro always put Iron Man, Spider-Man and/or Captain America in a wave in order to sell more, they are the most popular Marvel characters, they are purchased by non-collectors, if a little kid wants an Iron Man action figure, they have one in Marvel Legends.

As you can see, this MS Venom will have 4 interchangeable heads (unless some of them are variant heads), 6 hands, Venom the Madness' multiple arms and multiple mini-heads.0 -
I have no interest in these, and am really bummed theyre phasing out the movie figures for this. As you metioned, the articulation is lacking. Also, there's no way an animated style figure would fit in with MLs. MLs tend to be pretty lifelike likenesses. Imagine that Nova next to a Face-Off Cap. Not gonna happen. At least the movie line blends in with regular MLs.
Well, but imagine trying to fit Spectacular Spider-Man's figures with Marvel Legends, this show's more realistic designs help with that. Maybe other characters that need less detail could fit pretty well, like White Tiger. Apart from that, maybe we can get a 6 inch Wizard at last as well as other minor villains which didn't appear in ML but have appeared in this show, and maybe if some of you are good customers can do a paint job to make it more Legend ¯\(°_o)/¯ I think I could use them with Legends only if necessary (like, mentioned before, Wizard).

It looks like Hasbro realized how bad they've been with 6 inchers...
Good thing: Most of the characters designs for this series are directly from comics, so we may get many villains which could be used in a Mainstream Unvierse collection.
Bad thing: it's for kids, most of them will have less articulation than Marvel Legends.

Wow, Hasbro really needs to improve their timming, they make a Protector action figure when he's no longer an Avenger, Sentry when he's dead, Archangel when Warren is back to Angel... Looking forward to Iron Fist, Red Deadpool, Doctor Doom and that Captain America...

Right, I forgot this year is Spidey's 50th Anniversary, so it would make more sense if it was a comic book inspired pack. Unless Hasbro decides to mix in both Movie and Comic book looks, since the Movies are a part of the character's history. But I highly doubt they would do that, as it would make more sense for a comic book look. Either way, hoping that SDCC shows us some pics.
Well, I remember Spider-Man Origins 2-packs, where two of them where based on the movies and the last one based on the comics.

I don't think they'd make this a movie set, since it's celebrating Spidey's 50th anniversary.

I really want that Iron Man, is one of my favorite armors of Tony... but I'd rather have a Bleeding Edge Iron Man instead of an armor he's not using anymore.
I don't really know why they want to do a new Doom, the one of the F4 wave is just perfect. Maybe they decided to repaint him white?

I think Blade will be the variant figure.
If you check the package art posted in Marvel.com, in the Blade/Punisher one, Eric is behind Frank. If we remember, in Marvel's Madames and Marvel's Wrecking Crew, the variant character was behind the main version.

Maybe they will reveal other figures and the BAF later, maybe not. Let's all just hope there will be more IM Legends.
