  1. Based on this tweet, this exhibition had more figures displayed, but photography of the unpainted prototypes was forbidden. These figures are battle damaged MK 85, Rescue, Iron Man MK 50 with a heap of nano weapons and X-Force Wolverine.

I'm excited to hear about the Iron Man MK 50, especially since it will come with a lot of accessories. I'll make sure to save up for that one. The battle damaged MK 85 is interesting news, since the regular release already comes with the Infinity Stones. I hope they do the battle damage better than Figuarts did. Now I'm debating whether to get this one or the regular version. This version will be more screen-accurate for the "I am Iron Man" moment, but the other version will be more versatile. Well, since it's in the unpainted prototype stage, I guess I have plenty of time to think about it.

  2. I know that this exhibition just unveiled an Iron Man figure, but at the risk of sounding greedy I will say that I would have liked to see an Iron Man MK 50 between that Infinity War Thor and Infinity War Captain America. I find it kinda weird that Iron Man is one of the figures from Infinity War that they haven't tackled. On the flip side, I would like to believe that means he's got to be next after Strange.

  3. I'll be very happy to upgrade to this Rescue, though I wish Hasbro had found a better way to implement the drones. The way you need to take off a set of flaps to work them feels cheap. Since the figure went unchanged, they could at least have reworked the backpack pieces. I'm still glad to have a Rescue with the drones. I'm still bummed no bootleg version of the Figuarts Rescue came out to buy it just for its drones.

Now I just need for Hasbro to release some kind of office casual female character to find that unmasked head a home and get myself a civilian Pepper.

  4. Galactus certainly looks neat (and I think it should have been the first HasLab Marvel project instead of a Sentinel). It's not like this came out of the left field since it was the obvious choice for a HasLab project, but I hope some time down the line Hasbro realizes that between $25 mass-marketed figures and $300+ crowfunded figures there are many steps where they could make more accessible projects. It would be neat to be in on the fun of these projects some time, jussayin'.

I passed on the black and gold Marvel NOW armor when Hasbro did it and it's one that I regret missing on.

You're not missing much. Even by 2015 standards it was an underscaled figure with limited articulation, let alone today's standards. It was a very lazy repaint, with details that should have been sculpted being just painted in, not to mention the sculpt itself was 100% inaccurate to the armor from the comics.

Yes far behind bcz in the past ML made poorly styled body molds like for example the last figs of Banshee and Daken had the donald duck feet , other figs had dull poor paint jobs poorly detailed figs like sentry's cape and body mold they introduced the infamous bucky cap mold which is terrible the extremely thin spiderman figs , the horrible version of Superior Spiderman that was a joke . They need to redo all those figs that had been poorly developed especially since they are raising the prices

So... what you're giving as an example of Hasbro being "far behind" are body molds that are more than 15 years old... molds that have also been discontinued for almost 10 years, meaning they moved forward to better molds. Not to mention the Legends team have already teased at the successor of the Bucky Cap mold, which won't just be the standard body mold but also completely pinless? You're also using the Hyperion body mold as an example, a body mold that has already been superseded by the Omega Red mold.

  7. I've been holding off on buying any of these MKs 1-7 (and 42) from ZD Toys until they are all re-released with LED features, since so far only the MK 3 has gotten that treatment, but I will definitely be getting this one as soon as possible for my Marvel Legends display. These might be 1/10, but I'd rather have an oversized MK 1 in my shelves than the embarassment that was Hasbro's MK 1 for The First Ten Years line.

I think this is by far the best “special” MCU line they’ve done yet. Hopefully it continues, but presumably under a different name, because movies beyond FFH don’t fall under the Infinity Saga. Regardless, I can think of a whole other 10 sets I’d want from a second IS line just from Iron Man to Endgame. I assume next year will be the Raimi anniversary line, but maybe we get a few more Infinity Saga releases here and there and maybe a whole other line in 2023.

The line of movies post-Endgame will probably get their own saga naming in due time, but I wouldn't worry considering Hasbro has been pretty generous with the new releases compared to the dark days that they're making up for with the Infinity Saga line. If Hasbro wanted to do anything for Far From Home, I think they could just do it kind of in the way they released that Spider-Man / MJ 2-pack for Homecoming in 2019 and didn't sweat about it.

  9. Just as I feared, the Tony Stark head seems to be a tad bit too big compared to the helmet, but it doesn't seem too bad when the figure is posed. Plus, the RDJ likeness is probably Hasbro's best. I honestly can't wait for this 2-pack and I'm so glad I pre-ordered two instead to avoid struggling to get a second copy later on.

This entire line looks fantastic and I can't wait to see what Hasbro does next with the Infinity Saga brand.

All of your gripes remaining true, I still like this for what it is, this is the toy colors, yah..they can't get over the fact this was an ink trick, it was black.. but blue shade effects, but seems like the toys have just since the dawn gone with the blue, it's fine to me, I love the blue..also yeah they could have given it shoulder pauldrons, not sure why they didn't since they are the same ones Silver Centurian has, wrong color arc reactor, helmet design... but we know Hasbro gonna do Hasbro, and well toys going to be toys.. always just using the Sealth suit as a repaint vessel, but however I think it's a good looking figure for what it is, a new toy style stealth suit IM.

Yeah, I know. I like said, I'm beating a dead horse. Hasbro is gonna Hasbro, but I have to admit that after their Silver Centurion featured an impressive amount of retooling, I hyped myself up with the possibility they were going to do the Stealth Armor justice.

I will admit that the figure looks nice, though. Maybe since the Stealth Armor has also come to be drawn like a repainted Classic Armor in a few comics I might eventually cut this figure some slack.

I don't wanna be pessimistic, yes it could be first real MCU "appearance" but there's another more negative way to look at this video, since there's no real update for next Deadpool movie or even cameo rumor, it becomes apparent to me, at least  from what I gather that  Marvel/Disney doesn't know what to do with Deadpool, of course it could be just my own imagination, but I think Ryan is just trying to keep hype for Deadpool with clips like that while Marvel studios is still unsure what to do with Deadpool.

Kevin Feige already confirmed earlier this year that Reynolds is working in the script for Deadpool 3 and that it will be integrated into the MCU, but that Ryan was busy at the time, which is true since he's starred in two movies this year, so you're just reading too much between the lines.

This movie Iron Man armor probably should have been darker....but I'm glad they went brighter. However since they gave him these stunted arms it wouldnt surprise me if down the road they re-do it, with proper arms and the darker red.

I guess the figure looks good on its own with the brighter red, but the maroon should be there, especially if you were to compare it to the MK 4 like in this picture. At this point I'm just hoping Hasbro finally gets around doing the "MCU Iron Man armor + Hall of Armor dock" wave and take that opportunity to re-release this figure with the darker red.
