  1. yo Evil, tecnically I'm a local collector and a board member. Figured I'd point that out so folks know how you're hooking it up when they see your massive haul. Paid retail and some shipping folks. You can't beat it. That Evilanimation is a stand up fella.
  2. Another slam dunk, that Ares head in the OPP store. If that guy isn't shown at SDCC, that head is gonna sell. All I'm waiting for is the Hercules buck to put it on. It will be mighty.
  3. Dina, come on with that Psylocke custom. Onyx needs to see that head!
  4. Sometimes people need a little push in the right direction. The irony is, that Bishop is more or less my first custom, which I only did based on the strength of the wip pic of that head Onyx posted. I knew immediately that thing was a slam dunk. So in a way I owe the whole deal to Onyx. Thanks yo! Now I've had a couple people ask about commissions and even more people tell me about they're own customs they're doing, so I gotta believe that thing would get some play. I've also been hounding Onyx forever about a Forge head for that "Xavier School" body. I always assumed everyone would get on that as well. Speaking of which, nice job Diabolical. A 616 Nick Fury to go on the SHIELD agent body, I always assumed would be a slam dunk also. I say SDCC should be indicative of what would sell. If by July we haven't seen pictures of Bishop, Forge, or Fantomex it'll be a safe bet those head casts would sell. They seem to me to be the among the most popular customs.
  5. Onyx asked me to re-post this so he could gauge reaction regarding this head. This is his awesome head sculpt so holla if you wanna see this bad boy make a return to his opp store. And Dinamite, if you would please, post another pic of your Psylocke custom so Onyx can see the female head sculpt I'm talking about.
  6. Hey Dina, what head did you use for that good lookin Psylocke custom?
  7. Hell yeah. The pros have been unleashed on this bastard. I've seen a few posts like mine and I think this is gonna make a lot of people really happy to hear. Quick everyone, to the Chinese Havoks!
  8. Nah, based on the picture of the figure people have been buying, the one without the headpiece, it looks like it just snaps into place. You can see the hole in the forehead.
  9. And also, that's a pretty sweet New Mutants setup you're working on, Dina.
  10. Alright gang, I just bought one of those loose Havok variant figures from China. Y'know, the one missing the forehead piece? So... how do I go about crafting that forehead piece? What do you got customizers?
  11. Alright Onyx, I have 3 questions for you regarding this head shrink magic... 1. How do you do this head shrink voodoo? 2. Will it damage the original head? 3. How much will it cost? Assuming that the answers to those questions are good I'm in. I do think though, that we should conduct some sort of poll to determine what heads would be most desirable. Of course I want the Forge, but if no one else wants one, it doesn't make sense for you to do it. Economically speaking. However, if everyone can get behind it...
  12. The Forge head is a stand in until someone casts a good one. It isn't too bad though for a gutted 90's Toybiz Forge 5''... Your Toybiz figures are not dead ladies and gentlemen! Onyx, c'mon bro! If you do a head without the moustache, which can be painted on, we can use the same head for all our sweet Fabian Cortez customs!
  13. Bla blah blah crappy cell phone pics, I'll take better ones another time.
  14. Need head sculpts for nick fury and forge. What's up?
  15. Boil water, then use the boiling water to take the figure apart as much as you can. Put all your figure pieces into cheese cloth or something so you don't lose anything and add the dye to the boiling water. Put the figure in and let it do it's thing. After about 30 minutes take it out and check your progress. This is a good opportunity to rotate shoulder joints and such that you didn't take apart so you get 100% coverage. Put him back in and in another 30 minutes or so, you should be good. It's pretty much a trial and error deal, some plastics take longer than others and some colors won't work at all. As long as you're going darker though, it shouldn't be a problem. I know from experience the Archangel works perfectly. The whole figure black except the pink painted parts and the head which I didn't dye. Then, just go in and paint the pink parts, which turn into a dark magenta, and you're tits.
  16. that picture sucks and for that I am sorry. but you get the gist...
  17. You should just do it yourself. You aren't going to come across many easier customs. I dyed mine with rit dye. whole figure turned black except the painted parts. So not only do you not have to worry about paint rub, but you have a dark magenta guide for your silver areas.
  18. Completed, pro-shot toy porn. Enjoy.
  19. What's up Bigmeezee? This about what you're looking for? Obviously the head isn't right cause I just ordered the right one last night. After some modifications however, this head is a pretty good likeness of early X-Force Wolverine. A mask-less variant if you will...
  20. Scratch the part about the head. I just realized we're talking about two different base figures. I don't think it'll be a big deal, though. Let me do mine and you can tell me what you think.
  21. I'll do it. I'm actually gonna do one right now. Black Ultimate X-men Wolverine, right? I'll post pics when I'm done and if you like, I'd be happy to do one for you. Just give me a couple days. I'd suggest ordering this head though, that's what I did. http://sites.google.com/site/ckastings/mar...ocalypse-series
