  1. That is awesome. I've been looking for a bulldog...for Lockjaw. Haha.. little nicky dog figure. i'll have to hunt one down. Great job!!
  2. So what's the theory we're concluding of why Shockers are only showing up in Canada?
  3. I'm in houston and we havn't got it yet. Does that help? I think we're in the same situation.
  4. Make sure to scan the figure to see if they have figures in the back not on the floor yet. 90% the kiddos who work there are quite helpful in getting stuff from "employees only" land. I always usually tell them i'll hang them on the pegs for you during that awkward exchange when they are looking up the MUs on their handheld scanner.
  5. Irishmofo...your inbox is full. I can't send my PM. Sorry guys i know this isn't really the place for it, but i'd rather put it here instead of elsewhere.
  6. @ Noodle Chow and Lapu Lapu (nice she-hulk, btw), thanks for the advice. Went to Micheal's today to buy some Testor's acrylic...if you buy something, you get a coupon for 40% off one item during 7/10-7/16. Just thought i would pass that on.
  7. BTW, what is the majority speculating for Dr Stephen Strange...to be more rare: astral or regular?
  8. Jealous. i'm only finding Endcaps with last wave + revision cases at target. It might be awhile down here to find below:
  9. So slowly i've been accumulating the necessary tools for customizing my MU's. And last night i was started testing my acrylic paints i've had for a while (i was an art major). While testing, a random customizing question popped up: Do you guys strip the existing paint off the figure before you lay a new color above it or just simply one after another? I would have posted in the Customs thread section, but i feel no one goes there and we have an active community of MU customizers here. Thanks!!
  10. Houston has Flame On Human Torches. Check. My bro snagged one for him and one for me when the Target guy brought out the Endcap and i think two rev cases. Might drop by later to pick the remnants if anyone needs any cables (hopeless), cyclops'. etc.
  11. Found 4 deluxe hydras at target. Decided to not pick them up.
  12. @shaneva: make sure to try your local disney store if you got them. i've been successful there lately. i actually picked up a hopeless cable there today (below). it's a dollar or two more, but what can you do. my haul for today. decided to stop by my lcs to see what i could find. I hit up the loose figures rack and behold, yesterday someone sold their entire IM2 series collection, according to the some guy who works there. Picked up the ones above. Really happy with the War Machine (comic series) find. $5 each. Also picked up a loose MLS moleman/mr. f. pack. Most likely they'll never make a Mole Man figure, so he'll have to do. Could care less for the mr. f. Got a hope-less cable at the disney store today...not MOC...card is good, but the plastic is mangled. Left cyclops and the rest of the wave.
  13. @AmuroMkII Sick flaming cards!!! @ONYX Awesome redskull head sculpt!
  14. Snagged an extra Crossbones and Red Skull from the Captain line if anyone wants a trade.
  15. Picked up two stretch strike venoms at the disney store today. They also had a gladiator pegwarming if anyone is interested. On a separate note, where are you guys finding the new 3 packs? TRU?
  16. where'd you find such a great deal out of curiousity. ?? Yes! great haul! where did you find the goodies?
  17. I'm complete for now, finally! Woohoo! My brother (THANKS!, if you read this) did a quick stop at WM and snagged two Crossbones and a Red Skull out of two cases. He already found a Red Skull previously. He's been lucky this past month with new releases.
  18. Look what i found. Anyone want an arms backwards Iron Man. hahaha. defect.
  19. @Lapu Lapu: Great stuff. I'm really enjoying that Wolfsbane. On a separate note, does anyone have any recommendations for cowboy base figures which can be used in the MU line for customs? I've been searching the aisles of WM, TRU, Targets but there aren't any cowboy action figure lines that i know about. Thanks!
  20. I think i've done pretty well for the haul from the last two weeks. Got regular Vision and loose Piledriver ($45) and XMO Gambit ($10) earlier today at the Houston Comicpalooza. Vision is the most i've ever paid for a MU fig. It was my first experience going to one of these "comic cons" and was really impressed with the growth within the last three years (from what i've heard), each doubling the size each year. I'm going to regret not picking up an Electro and Mary Jane going for $12 and $15. I already regret not picking up a couple of loose AIM soldiers for $3/each...i came back and they were gone. I was in California last weekend and scored the Capt Patriot three pack at a local Kmart since we don't have these anymore in Texas and a Human Torch at WalMart (surprised to see him pegwarming). Picked up Heroic Age Capt and US Agent earlier this week at WM. I keep finding the remnants of Wave 2. Cyke and Cable (along with Apocalypse and Gladiator, not pictured) came in the mail. Only thing i'm missing are Red Skull and Crossbones and i'll be uptodate.
  21. Sorry dude. Hate to continue to rain on your parade, but we've been getting them in Houston.
  22. Going to be in the SF/Bay Area. Anyone recommend any good comic shops to visit?
  23. I picked up one accidentally too with the same "defect" artwork. I went back the next day to see if they all were like that but the rest were correctly packaged.
