  1. Someone post a picture of the Avengers IM vs the RML IM. Thanks. Just curious about how they compare.
  2. Focusing on Avengers toys, buddy. They need to clear out the upcoming Avengers ML scaled figures by then. Same thing is happening to the next wave of 3.75 figures.
  3. I use technical pens...that have points like 001, 01, 005, etc for fine details like eyebrows and fine fine details. You can find them at your local art store. Aside to that, use the finest paint brushes you can find and use multiple thin coats vs one thick coat of paint as necessary.
  4. Greatstuff DresselRebel Really liking the customs.
  5. A walmart near me was clearancing Thor and Cap Movie figures for $3. Picked up 3 frost giants and a captain britain figure. Frost giants are really cool figures. the articulation is great on them. I wish they were more comic accurate though. The capt series captain britain is a wierdly sized figure...stubby arms and lack of abs.
  6. Genius customs for Madrox and Banshee!
  7. Oh nah. I've gone one already. Just wanted to post the repack. Nice find on the avengers 4 pack. I was looking for it myself today. Wow looks like someone swapped out the Black Widow with the old one. You didn't really buy it did you? I got the Avengers 4 pack at Walmart. $29.96
  8. tru: Also found a 3.74 mortal kombat sub-zero at marshall's.
  9. around the $30+tax price mark.
  10. Other forums are reporting sightings of the Avengers 4 packs (loki, IM, Hulk and Hawkeye) at Wal-marts. Go hunt!
  11. If i were a customizer and i had $$$, i'd be switching out those dr strange legs with the older figures. wow, anybody want to troop build Dr Strange?lol "By the army of Agamotto!" Also found this repack just for the head:
  12. by default TRU. They are exclusive to them.
  13. Only the warriors three wave. No King Laufeys or Sifs wave anywhere.
  14. I went to the big TRU in town earlier this week and aside to the big display in front of the store i was dismayed that they had pegs and pegs and pegs and pegs of the Thor and IM figures. I sware they took all the pegwarmers from all the trus and brought them here. Hasbro has NEVER not competed with itself. I've been harping on this for YEARS. They don't coordinate anything so I think either A. the same factories that are handling MU are actually also handling Avengers and the next MU wave isn't even in manufacturing yet or 2. Hasbro needs to clear out old stock of MU before being able to ship new stock. I had the chance to go to multiple TRUs today... each store had pegs and pegs of warehouse stock IM2 and Thor figs (I actually was able to get all the Warriors 3 figures today without any trouble). Avengers figures seemed to be at the same level they have been since they hit--a few Thors, a few Iron Man figs... an occasional Hulk or Loki (saw 1 Cap figure I hadn't seen before- hightech shield? or something?). It's kind of a disaster for a kid aimed line right? They'll see the movie today and want to get the whole team. They won't. So they'll move on or back to whatever they were into before.
  15. Yep. Hasbro did miss this boat. Pegs are almost bare at my targets. TRUs are halfway full, but i understand why. Upside for us, that we'll at least see wave 2 eventually for avengers. Yep. MU is looking thin on the pegs. Its going to miss the Avengers sales boost :( You know, I realize I'm no toy exec, but I gotta agree with Prem1x. With the soon to be booming market for Marvel toys due to the Avengers' success, it seems like dropping the ball that Hasbro wouldn't want Avengers stuff, Marvel Legends, and even MU all over the place. That way whichever line was thin on the pegs consumers might turn to the other lines to get a Marvel "fix". Think about it, a kid sees Avengers, falls in love with say..Hulk and there's no Avengers' Hulk on the pegs but there is a MU one well...chances are he/she would probably beg for the MU one. I think it's a mistake, course I think Hasbro should have released wave 3 of the Avengers this weekend especialy with the way the movie was doing overseas and with the probability that it would do so here in the States.
  16. I think it's one of these customs on ebay Here<<< I was wondering about that too. Anyway, last night before heading to the theater for the midnight showing, we went to Walmart and found AW/Thanos and Sinister/Gambit. Got one of each pack and then texted a couple forum buddies about the remaining one since I wasn't going to be back online anytime soon. Awesome night, finding some new MU and then hitting Avengers! I'm surprised my wife didn't have to bust out the smelling salts.lol Saw both sets again tonight on the other end of town and in a different chain. So I think they've officially hit Tampa finally.
  17. That's awesome Wolvie. Hi-res photo with all of them updated Here's the album. I uploaded the pics to google for now https://plus.google.com/photos/106786633788...744904202525057 LMK if y'all can't access it
  18. Got my giant sized x-men in the mail from the disneystore.com. I tried to buy it and have it shipped to the store, but they couldn't so they gave me a free shipping coupon. Yay.
  19. I dont think i've see a walmart restock with these figures and they're pretty much a hand full of pegs only at most. I guess they learned their lesson from ordering IM2 and Thor figures. But i have a feeling after the movie comes out, they'll be replenishing their stocks. Thanks guys.
  20. Happened to pick up the Spiderman 2099 figure in the box - and just realized he has this clear cape behind him. Never knew. Here's to finding things. BTW, where are you guys finding hte maskless avengers captain americas?
  21. That MOTU dragon loooks awesome. BTW, who is that custom based on a colossus? And dude, nice score with the Avengers 4 packs. So now there are two that are coming out? the classic comic one and this above.
  22. Yup, dragonkings actually hooked me up with all of them but BP a couple weeks ago. I found BP this past week. I have a feeling he's going to be the HTF since he's one per case and out of all the sets of these I've run into, only one set still had the BP left. I'm going to slowly but surely pick up these light up stand figures, but first only the HTF ones. I picked up BP and Translucent IM yesterday (BW was already gone). Found another BP and company at another TRU, but picked up the BW only. Really dissapointed with the BW figure, some extra "goop" on her boobs and kinda irked that the front of the diecut packaging was bent - going to switch it out when i find another one. Sigh, will eventually pick up the W1 figures when more coupons come in the mail. And started talking to another collector who just beat me to a Storm Shadow. & Totally forgot to look for MIB figures.
  23. Just saying i'd rather see her face instead of loki's. And went to my local TRU - saw all the avenger base figures- BP, Translucent IM, Cap but not Black Widow. I really do want to pick these up, but just spending 17$ each is too much for it. If one were a MU completist would you pick these up?
  24. I dunno about that man. I'd rather see Cobie instead of Loki. just my preference.
  25. depends upon which wave 2 stuff you saw. Some of the alternates are still really htf which is causing some really stupid prices online. I know I'm missing some of the alternates still. Madame Hydra, Big Time Spidey never seen either one in the wild. My wife picked up the alternate wrecking crew in Texas on a trip, but I am beginning to doubt I'll ever see the other two in person. I've got a Madam Hydra on card still...I've been back and forth in whether to keep it - her face kills me. Let me know if you want it. Never seen big time spidey yet, nor masked daken.
