  1. Yeah man. Confirmed - i cleaned out mine last week. And someone else found some some a week or so earlier. @jesterkiller - what are you looking for?
  2. I wonder if buying a Sentinel from a non-clearance Walmart and returning it at a clearance Walmart would reduce the price... Only one Walmart in town sells them, and they have about 10 for $54 each. Maybe I need to return one to the Walmart that just clearanced MU... It works for regular figures. I thought about that too last night. They have to accept it if you have a receipt.
  3. See my pics above. No receipt but it's from Walmart. No need to make that stuff up. I'm in Houston. And i stopped at two locations and one didn't have them on clearance.
  4. Popularity of character, lack of sightings at normal retailers, supply and demand. my initial thoughts.
  5. Plastic crack plastic crack. needed to feed the need...WM: Picked up Team Packs: $9 and Comic Packs: $7 for customs. going to open Sentinels finally. I left one more if anyone is interested. And they had a billion GOTG team packs. Got sasquach and doc oct from evilbay. and two potc angelicas for her head. Made a stop at TRU but totally forgot to check for avengers stuff...not that i'm really dying for them.
  6. And actually the cheapest in my area. But unfortunately they dont move as much.
  7. I'll get back to you shortly. Thanks Wolvie. I've still got a ton carded. Check out wolviestoys.com and maybe we can work something out if you're interested. Disregard the prices.
  8. Kinda/semi-MU related but interesting haul for the week/weekend: Decided to get into the Toy Biz Uncanny X-Men/X-Force line from 20 years ago. After i bought Strong Guy (since he's MU-scaled and i doubt he'll be made in MU) it revived my nostalgia from my childhood. I remember i had a handful from when i was younger which i opened and still have to this day boxed away somewhere. So recently in my hunts i'd be checking out prices for the Toy Biz figures and found they there were going from $4-12 at lcs'. Not bad for another collection if you can get a good carded one for $5-7. But luckily i found another collectible store trying to sell them and bought the majority of these for $5. So at the moment i've accumulated around 50+ and have a majority of the collection. But now upon research online - i found out that there are a bunch of variants and holes i need to hunt down. Not bad, but at least i know the line is complete and i can get an entire collection of something. Has anyone else got into these?
  9. @grui: AWESOME dude. Loving the santo. @dragonkings: also that looks great. Where's the head from? I was thinking Frankenstein's Monster from the Fearsome Four.
  10. Yeah sometimes at WM the clearance stuff on the shelves are unmarked. Always have to check with the scanner. Going to do it this weekend.
  11. Going for 9.5 + tax. ...same difference as buying online. How much was Disney selling them for? Any better than Target's new prices?
  12. I guess i missed that back then. Either way it adds to another level of complexity when searching for them. ie for me on the TRU website. well, the "Universe" name is on the packaging. And I remember at SDCC or whatever the Hasbro guys said it would be called like Marvel Universe: Legends or something like that. Basically they wanted to keep it under the same house name for some reason Thanks conan 050! they will be useful.
  13. Today and Yesterday's haul. Got Blackheart and Deathlok ML in the mail today. sob blackheart doesn't stand on his own. I believe BH is/can be MU scale. I highly doubt a strong guy is going to be made anytime soon so until then the old 1991 Toybiz one will have to do. I'm definite that Guido is in MU scale. W. 17. Check. Disney store finally got something before all the discount retailers over here. Go check yours. I cleaned them out. Deathlok is up for trades as are two Storms and two Psylocks. I'm looking for 2012 ML Ghost Rider(s) either or stuff from my bst list. Oh crap reminds me i need to cancel my bbts order.
  14. Thanks for the kind words y'all. @commander rogers - i was an art major in college.
  15. Quick and easy Scarlet Spider custom. From the regular Scarlet Spider figure to the new Kaine comic version: Looking at him...he loooks a bit shiny.
  16. Funny part is that TRU is calling Marvel Legends, Marvel Universe. Does anyone have inventory or dcpi numbers?
  17. Duh! I totally forgot about that. Does anyone have inventory numbers?
  18. So i also requested a ML lookup at a TRU i went to this week also...different outcome. He couldn't even find it in the system. His method of searching was the TRU website...and as we know their searching system is a piece of crap. I gave up trying to give him suggestions (on practically how to do his job). Does anyone know what the process is for a TRU employee to search for specific toy? Is it mainly searching hte TRU site or what else? Incoming shipping manifests? Other methods of finding info? Regardless - very fortunate.
  19. Thank you Push You Down and Rodimus! I'll try it out and show the fruits of your suggestions.
  20. Random question: Can you mix gi joe renegade arms with an MU body? If so, how do you take them apart? for the MU - boil and pop?
  21. No endcaps. No W17. No new comic packs. No Marvel Legends. Nothing. But found this guy at my LCS: $9. Welcome to the boards new guys. Luckily TRU is holding steady with there prices: $8.5. It used to be the most expensive here, but now it'll be the cheapest soon. Oddly, there are two Targets that had temporary price cuts on MUs for $7.39 - too bad they had no worthwhile figures to pick up. Also luckily found an ROC Destro at some far off boonies walmart this past weekend. He's becoming my new red skull with a head swap.
  22. What's funny is that I picked up 4 extras of these anticipating people on the forums would want them, and after a month with no interest, returned them. They were gone the next day. Yea, it's too bad they used up the good Cyclops costume on this piece. I'd really like to see this one redone one day, but I'm not expecting it to ever happen. At least some awesome customs of this one exist... Darn i guess i missed that memo. i wish i knew. & I plan to make a astonishing cyclops from the secret wars two pack with hulk.
  23. Yeah i wish i picked one up - just for the sake of getting one. I havn't seen them since before xmas. But good find none the less. Oh and i finally got around open a XMOW Cyclops. That's a disappointment of a figure. No ankle and wrist articulation and it's shorter than the rest of the 3.75 cyclop's. Only pro i see is the cool laser beam insertion aside to it being the astonishing costume.
  24. Do you need anything from that rev case? I can try to get if they are still there later today. but be warned...if you're looking for the electro, both had busted up cards. as far as the rest...not sure.
  25. after frequenting a specific wm the past couple of days including last night's quick trip - i felt a glimmer of hope they would have some after seeing the palettes full of restock boxes of toys last night. i go again this morning and Behold MUs! of course after having bare shelves i was hoping for W17 glory, NO! revision cases...the translucent hand electro wave. hung my head in disappointment, walked back to my car and went to work... and the hunt continues.
