Guys
Which version of Galactus is better?
Thanks in advance.
I think my opinion runs contrary to many on this board, but I MUCH prefer the Galactus in standard colors. IMO he's the greatest fig in this line.

I'll reiterate that I also have 2 SSVs to trade. PM me with what you have to offer. I'm most interested in Archangel (any), Mandarin, and black suit Ms. Marvel, but am willing to consider whatever offers come in.
If I don't get any offers in which I have interest I'll probably sell them to board members. PM me if interested.

I scored two extra Stretch Strike Venoms today at my local Disney Store. They're available for trade (preferred; I'm looking for an Archangel, but open to other offers) or sale (cost + shipping). PM me if interested.
Saw F4 FF set, GotG set, and X-Force set at local TRU, too. Two Spidey/Capt. Britain 2-packs at Target, but other than that they had nada.

It looks kind of black there but it's actually a very dark red/brown. It's a variant that's been known since the first series but only started to become widespread this year. I crapped myself when I finally found it.
I snatched him up when I first/finally saw him a couple months back, but now I see that fig all the time it seems...and I haven't even been looking much lately! I like the fig, but if I didn't have it I'd probably just pick up the new one instead (which I'll probably end up doing anyway).

After a lengthy absence from this forum (down to not finding isht!), my sons and I were finally able to score some new figs yesterday. Managed to get a Flame On Torch and Cable at the local Disney Store (they had multiples of Apocalypse, Cable, Jim Lee's Cyclops, Thanos) and a Hydra soldier at Target. My local Target seems to be redoing their Marvel section, as there was very little MU, no Spider-Man or Thor, but TONS of Cap stuff. They had a 2-pack with Cap and the best Winter Soldier yet (imo), but I passed on that as I already have that Cap from the KMart exclusive 3-pack and have 5 other Caps anyway.

Hello just started collecting MU figures(Its addicting) and decided to join this forum. ^^
I've been a big marvel fan for awhile, although my comic reading days are from the early to mid 90s era which is what attracted me to this line.I only just started so my collection only consists of about 15(lol).Would probably be more cept for the fact that every place I check in my area(about 3 walmarts,4 targets,2 toysrus and one disney store)have like nothin ever,is that normal?Or is it just the current Cable wave? The best luck ive had was the disney store which yeilded a Jean grey and mystique plus they actually checked the back room for me,the other places all say"whats out here is all we got" lol
Oh well I was able to score a FF Venom(which I actually like better then the SS version) today at target which was weird and I got a Apocalypse and colosuss otw from hasbrotoyshop.
Oh ya one more thing, how often do those online retail places restock their figs like hasbrotoyshop and toysrus? Cause I think some people here said toysrus restocked cable twice this week but everytime i checked theyre was no listing lol im not paying 30$+ for that foo online lol
Damn you, shaneva002! Everytime I see your posts I'm thinking it's one of mine that I don't remember (D'OH!) 'cuz of the avatar! Haha, welcome to the board (am I sufficiently established to write that?!) and happy hunting!

i still prefer the XMO Deadpool, but that's just my opinion. a solid figure.
I completely agree with this. It's kinda funny 'cuz my kids kept XMO:W Deadpool in the "official" display lineup and the 2-pack Deadpool gets bashed around in whatever battle scenarios they play out.

Did the rounds today in Rego-stan...anyone looking for Lizard or Scorpion? US Agent? They were in abundance today at the local Disney Store. Target and TRU have been disappointing lately, to put it mildly, especially TRU when it comes to MU.

I got the 35th set variant and Carnage today.
After the new Venom and Lizard they SERIOUSLY have to re-do this character. I'm not looking for them to make him as though he's on steroids, but the recent comic series would be SWEET.

Whoever posted about a Mem Day restock of Cap figs hit the nail on the head as far as my local Disney Store is concerned. They rejiggered their display so that Cap was front and center and all pegs were full. Snagged a Red Skull, left the other behind. No Crossbones, tho'. Hopefully soon.
TRU and Target had zilch for Cap. Target did have Jim Lee Cyclops, 2 Gladiators, and 2 FA Wolverines. No Apocs or Cables, but at least they finally made it to Rego-stan.

just a hunch... but... being that Memorial Day weekend is upon us... does anyone else feel that Captain America figs might be restocked for the holiday?
would make sense from a marketing standpoint.
They certainly weren't today, at least in my neck of the woods. Target had nothing--count 'em, ZERO figs. TRU had a few figs that are destined to be peg warmers. Disney Store had those ridiculous Cap on an ATV but no single figs.

Both X-Men First Class 2 packs have hit the suburban chicago-land area in abundance if anyone is spying in from the area :)
What are these? Anyone got a link?

Yeah, I was a bit confused, I guess. Snagged the Sabertooth pack today at TRU. Left the Cyclops and Silver Samurai packs. No sign of Deadpool/Taskmaster.
Gotta say, I'm kinda surprised by how common the Giant X-Men packs are. Between Disney Store and TRU I counted at least a dozen, including variant packs.

Ran my ass all over Queens yesterday with Diabolical in search of the ever elusive Stretch Strike Venom. Didn't manage to find Venom, but I did get pretty much everything I wanted from the Cap line. Behold!!!
I'd say it was worth the trip. That stupid Venom is going to show up sooner or later.
Nice haul! Where'd you find the KMart exclusive 3-pack? The KMart on Metropolitan in Middle Village? How much did you pay?

sorry for the confusion. this is the XMO Sabretooth i was referring to:
highly recommended.
Gotcha. I still like the new one better. But what do I know?!

maybe it's the one Ninjah said but they are both from XMO...
Okay, maybe that...no worries...but I agree with you DK that there seems to be very little difference, which is not a bad thing for someone that doesn't own the XMO:W version.
Cheers, sorry if I caused anyone to feel any rancor!

[sNIP!]...but MU Sabretooth can not hold a candle to comic series XMO Sabretooth - far, far superior in quality.
You mean this one?

If so, I'll have to respectfully disagree.

Just got DP/TM 2-pack in the mail (thank you, RichardC!) making this a great--if expensive--week of collecting going back to the weekend.
On a sidenote, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend RichardC for any BST transactions. First rate.

I just did the math (loosely) on selling these figures.
if you bought 5 cables off tru, and sold em at the current amazon ebay price
you'd make a little over double your money if you skimmed a bit on the shipping.
then you have to take the time to put em on ebay or what have you and go to the post office everytime someone bought one.
Really just doesn't seem worth it, and that only applies to figures that sell for around 30 bucks.
that's also taking the lazy route, these scalpers go store to store, so that's not factoring in cost of transportation or sales tax and you aren't guaranteed to even find what you're after.
Just seems like you'd have to sell a lot of figures to make a good living off this.
What they're doing is hoping to hit on the next normal Vision or Warpath. It's the old saying--you have to speculate to accumulate. They're trying to create scarcity.

Ralph's is owned by Kroger. I have found MU @ two Ralphs so far. Nothing good tho. My mother sent me a black suit Ms. Marvel for Easter that came from Kroger
