    3 3/4" sighting and hauls

It seems Kmart is carrying MI figures again ($12.99). I found all of the latest wave tonight in Missouri.
  2. 1)Conan and Red Sonja 2)Man-Wolf (the bad-ass "Marvel Premiere" sword/sorcery version) 3)Attuma 4)the rest of my Inhumans (Gorgon, Triton, Crystal, Lockjaw)...yeah, I'm a cheater. 5)Kingpin 6)Mephisto 7)Son of Satan 8)Gargoyle 9)Tigra 10)Jack of Hearts (can you imagine the paint-app. nightmares this would cause?!?) Honorable mentions to: Ronan the Accuser, classic 616 Drax (I simply cannot believe that these two did not get shoe-horned in with/instead of the GoG re-releases), and Hell Cat (though due to the recent ML release and availability of rehash parts available, I didn't feel the need to list her). *Note these are all classic 616 versions...no exceptions!

    MU Customs

Jeez, took a minute to find this place (this really belongs back with the MU thread)!! No new customs to show, but I thought I'd share (if it hadn't been mentioned elsewhere) what could possibly be the best 1:18 customizing buck. They're called Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S. and they might look familiar as they are being produced by BossFightStudios (ex-Hasbro sculpters and designers) who are responsible for some of our favorite Star Wars, GI Joe, and Marvel figures. They have a Kickstarter going-on right now, and I urge all fans of 1:18 (Hell, figures in general!) to go check them out. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/813878470/boss-fight-studios-vitruvian-hacks-action-figures

Hopes for New Marvel Infinite Figures

I knew I would be cherry-picking this new line, but damn! Whirlwind is the only "must-have" for me (possibly Death's Head). I "like" the Masterson Thor, but I'd have personally preferred an update on the classic. I'm not sure that three repacks of figures I saw numerous times (in any ratio) is a good idea for a series following a relaunch. You want to invest and come out strong. Tricky-new-moniker aside, if these linger, retailers won't be any more likely to re-order than they would've on MU cards. Ant Man, Vision, and maybe an army-builder like a classic 616 Hydra soldier would've been a better way to get the ball rolling. Later on you can start occasionally sprinkling-in some repacks to off-set new tooling costs.

    MU Customs

Very nice. If we don't get a "re-Vision" along the lines of this recipe (or fresher) out of the new (MU) Avengers line within the first year, there will be riots.

Which "Toothless" did the wings come from? I have a bad feeling that you're going to reply "the 22" wingspan Toothless (aka $35 Toothless!)", in which I will have to wait quite a while for a lucky clearance find. I've been hanging-on to one of those PoP horses just for this project. Yours looks fantastic and the colors are virtually seamless! *BTW He looks waaay more impressive with Cpt. B's sword than the one supplied (which seems more suited to Valkyrie), however it's lacking an "ebony" quality (so is the stock-release for that matter lol)!

    Why no John Carter toys?

Don't even get me started on how pissed I am at Disney right now! I went to see JC(M) last night and loved it! This movie screams toy-line (1:18 scale fig.s, deluxe White-Apes, Thoats, airships...are you kidding me?!? These would have rocked if handled correctly)!!! At this point, I think the only love this film will receive is from HotToys/Sideshow, which will be a pricey (albeit stunning) consolation. Looks like no epic Barsoomian battles other than those created by customizers. Damn shame.

    MasterWorks Sentinel variant

I too saw that BBTS had these on pre-order. My question is are these going to reach retail as a running-change, or is this simply a (I'd assume Diamond Previews) specialty store release as previously implied? I'd like to have one (two actually) to open, but I'd prefer to catch these during a TRU sale (+rewards coupon) if possible.

    King Loki

    Marry her.

I love old school Inhumans, but I'd like to highlight Jae Lee's MK Inhuman series as probably the all-time best introduction to the Inhumans. It explains a lot about their culture, each of the characters' roles in the heirarchy (not to mention just a damn good read!), and should be fairly easy to find. I can't even begin to express how thrilled I am about 2012's MU line-ups and how impressed I am that the first Inhuman figures they're releasing are Medusa and Karnak. I think that really shows how committed they are to completing teams. Work Crystal and Lock-jaw in there somehow and I'm in heaven.

Buy 2 get 1 at TRU this week!

I was wondering the same, however when I price-checked it the "B2G1" didn't appear. That would have been a sweet way to army-build! I did get one using my 20% off coupon and as I was turning to leave the aisle what did I see? Ultron's day-glo mug smiling at me! Scored 2xSub-Mariner and an Ultron "B2G1" (the rest had been b2g1ed by someone else). Amazing since this TRU rarely has anything new (especially during a promotion) and I had just been there the day before and would have never checked again had it not been at the front.

    My SDCC experience

This is exactly what I've been thinking ever since the hint was dropped and the :profx: rumors started flying! While I'm 100% certain we'll see Xavier in the near future (especially with the recent focus on Jim Lee/cartoon era X-Men), I'm personally hoping that they were referring to M.O.D.O.K.!!

Are we getting a Classic Color Sentinel at Retail?

The "classic-color" Sentinel is the SDCC version (much to fans' dismay). The blue/silver version is the one slated for retail, though recent rumors indicate that the classic blue/magenta may find it's way onto retail shelves. There is no definitive answer yet on if, when or how this may occur. Are we all on the same page now? We'll just have to wait and see if Hasbro comes to their senses and makes these (classic version) more readily available in box-form without the special SDCC bubble-card (ala Galactus). I'm still a bit shocked that they shifted gears and made the more desirable one limited. I'm sure they'll do the right thing (if it wasn't planned from the get-go just to instill that they're "listening to the fans" ) and release this again. I'd wager that it will simply be the unique oversized-card that differentiates the two.

    Deadpool/Taskmaster set

Finally found this two-pack after several frustrating sightings of the Wolvie/ Silver Samurai...best. 2-pack. EVAHHH!!! I really only wanted Taskmaster initially, but Deadpool is pretty sweet too. Man, these guys are "loaded for bear"! My only gripes are that Taskmaster's neck is a bit long and his sword is a tad short (and the handle too thin). I'd have liked Deadpool to be a bit deeper red, but other than these minor quibbles, this set is awesome.

    SMFF Lizard

It seems (despite bright paint app.s and limited articulation) to be a decent enough "place-holder" until we can get a MU version (which I would imagine might be a while due to all of the new sculpts it would require). Not a huge priority, but I'll probably pick one up if I come across it.
