the variant Electro looks cool, but I'd only get it for the novilty of it. I'm completely satisfied and actually prefer the solid one. Saw a FF Future Foundation today at TRU. I'm probably going back to pick it up if it's still there, though I'm not really pumped about it as you all can tell...anyone wanna trade?

I wish I had the time to customize. It looks like this guy is really into it with making his own cards and stuff. Doesn't look like he has many bids on his auctions, though. I think unless you specifically ask a customizer for something, you much less inclined to purchase one for $30-$80 or whatever it is. Is that roughly the price range that customizers charge?

Just saw normal Absorbing Man, Magneto, and Astonishing Wolverine and passed on them. I don't expect them to be hard to find once I break down and pick them up. I'm not very impressed with the new wave. Wolverine is by far the best figure, but I'm disappointed that his claws are molded together (but in the picture they are individual). I have to double check, but I think I like the SW Magneto much more than the new one (same with my XMO Iceman). Absorbing man...whatever. And Ironman doesn't impress me with a removable helmet. It just seems like cop out wave...unless you never got an XMO or Amazing Friends Iceman.

Got a Compound Hulk and X-Force 3 pack from HTS.com. Not bad...CHulk is a nice figure, but I may end up trading him eventually...kinda goofy. It was nice to get the 3 pack to tag along with the discount code too.

Saw the newer Avengers platform figures at TRU finally. Same Old Figure + Nice New Paint - Large Stand / $20 = Waste of Money

wow...I'm suprised that the new wave is hitting already...seems like yesterday that I was looking for the Strange and Cable waves. time to break out the gear and hunt...and by gear I mean credit card...and by credit card I mean food stamps...

A few nice recent pickups... - Strange (regular) - Cable (with Hope) - Gambit (xmo) - Torch (flame on) - Destroyer (grey) - Warriors 3 (all of them) - Scorpion (spidy line) I'm actually just looking for an Astral Strange (like everyone else). If anyone can find an extra and sees something they like from this pickup list, let me know. Also finally picked up a MU Green Goblin...very nice fig...perfect color (much better than the Target 2 pack and Spidey versions).

Found another MU End Crap...no its not a typo. Every end cap that I've ever seen is filled with Ironman and Wrecker...with the occasional Team X Wolverine. Plus its not even an end cap...its like they just found extra space for the bad figures...not display or anything.

hit up a few targets today. finally found one of those marvel universe end caps that everyone's talking about...though it wasn't an endcap...more of just some extra figures on an end shelf...mostly ironman and wrecker. Saw tons of the Cap endcaps...not much wave 3 except for some camo caps...yuk!

had a SDCC Sentinel in my cart...as most of you know I'm not that interested in paying an arm and a leg on giant figures. So I'm going back and forth on whether or not to proceed. I decided not too, but then thought that Disc10 plus free shipping was a good deal, so I went back and free shipping was over...guess it was never meant to be. Oh well... But you better believe if they had some 3.75 exclusives I'd be all over it!!

I haven't seen a target end cap at all. Its so weird how everything seems to be so regionalized. I have tons a WMs, Targets, TRUs, Disney Stores, etc...and I check them often and I've never seen a Lizard retail, but some people can't stand the sight of another one pegwarming... This is how I feel about the situation:

got my DP/TM from TRU.com...the package and contects came all jacked up. I'd be pissed if I was collecting MOC, but my kids are going to rip these open eventually... ...tapey tapey

So I got a great tip from a TRU employee when I went over there to order my DP/TM. She said that there's a truck coming with new MU stuff today and that I should come first thing because all of the collectors come quickly and often. So that's exactly what I do. And low and behold...to my amazement...absolutely nothing. I even saw that same employee and asked her "what's the deal" and she's like "I guess there isn't anything new today" ... ...no sh!t

How is that Target exclusive Red Skull? From the pic it looks pretty sweet. Or is it just a repack with a red cosmic cube?

Went to WM today to pick up some dog treats, fruit snacks for the kids, and some women's shaving cream for the wife and came home with the dog treats, fruit snacks, and a Thor line Destroyer...wife was pissed. "Where's my shaving cream?" "Oh, I thought you said a Destroyer...my bad" But anyways...finally turned in my V-card for the Thor line, but I'm now finished with it. More of a one night stand.

My guess is that the Astral Strange will be the first release and regular Strange will be the running change after that...sort of the opposite of Vision...just a guess anyways.

Just picked up a Flame On Torch at a local Target. Most of you already know that I'm not ga-ga over this figure like some of you (I think the SW version is much more comicy). But it actually is much cooler in person. With that being said, it would be cool if Wolverine was a pirate, but just because it's cool doesn't mean its accurate...unless Wolverine was a pirate once...which he probably was at one point.

Wow...wave 14 is officially in the Chicago-land area. Went to a random Target today and found 1 Skaar, 2 Scarlet Spiders, 2 Falcons, and a mess of Dr Dooms (seriously like 5). Unfortunately no Stranges at all (which I really only want). I know I may get boo'd off this board, but I passed on all but a single Doom (being that I didn't pick up the 2 pack). I'm just not interested in another Spiderman (albeit a clone), Hulk's illegitimate son (although I loved the Planet Hulk story), or Cap's C list sidekick (but I may pick this one up eventually when I find it peg-warming). And for that matter, I'm not crazy about this Doom either. I thought it was going to be head and shoulders better than the Comic Pack version and...meh...I guess it is...I guess. I'm just happy they're released...can't wait to find Strange...A+ figure, and I haven't even seen it irl yet.
