Huge ups and big thanks to Legend. He stashed away a SS/Wolverine comic pack in a random walmart for me a few days ago and hadn't been able to get there til today...and to my suprise...IT WAS STILL THERE!! Legend's a stand up guy...if anyone deals with him, you know he's legit. People helping people...MU collectors helping MU collectors...its these qualities that this country was founded on!

so... now that I'm satisfied with what I have that's already been released (aside from some variants), is it really necessary for me to hit up every WM, TRU, and Target at every opportunity I get? I'm coming up empty like 99% of the time, but I'm going more and more often anticipating the new comic packs, cap wave 2, and lizard/scorpion... I'm considering taking a break for a month...saving some time/gas...hopefully the shelves will be stocked with some new stuff by then...or I'll miss out completely...ugh

it was a lot more fun when I was still starting out. just the joy i felt when i finally found a bullseye...or daredevil...or black widow... ...now I'm passing on archangels and sunfires when 6 months ago I'd have struck gold.

hahah...same thing happened to me at my local TRU. I was like, "so...am I missing something?" Then I began to look around as if they decided to not put the rest of the MU characters with the others...I'm an idiot!!

Good point...I have a Cable w/ Hope...just got real lucky with the original release. Probably hold onto it, unless someone has multiple X-Force Archangels or white Nick Fury's

I just got back from a run. Saw the new Cap line at TRU...honestly, I'm not impressed at all. All the facial artwork looks horrible. The MU line Caps and Winter Soliders look so much better. I'm probably just going to pick up the Crossbones and Red Skull when they come out. No new comic packs or X-Men pack :( Very disappointed :( I did pick up a Gladiator though...I haven't seen any new wave at all since my big score last week. I don't care for this figure, but wave 13 seems to be hard to come by and he has the best face paint app that I've seen so far (which isn't saying much). Maybe I'll try to trade him. Still hunting for a Warbird Ms Marvel, red Daredevil, or regular Iron Fist...or if someone has extra new 2 packs....

I got lucky monday morning at a Target for wave 13. Jack squat since...even today with all the reports of restocks. Not a single new 2 pack as of yet in north suburban chicago...unless someone's snatching them all up (you know who you are.....F'N STOP IT!!)

wow...that's actually pretty impressive. If I made somthing like that, there's no way I'd only charge $20...probably like $60-$70ish

Just picked up a Cap/Klaw SW comic pack from a local WM that usually doesn't have anything... man, this one was impossible to find...very happy!

I used to be a guest for a while before I signed up...I didn't look at the forum to try to snatch up anyone's pickings, I just wanted to know when people started finding the new waves in stores, saves me some hunting trips and gas if nobody has seen anything new. With that being said, I hope Hasbro re-releases everything so the value of rare characters shoot way down. Its nice having like a classic Havok, but its not why I'm doing this at all.

Just pass up on an Archangel, dark Daredevil, Bullseye, Mistique, Red Hulk, Ghost Rider, Constrictor, Hank Pym, and some other ones I can't remember...blast these revision cases. I wish I just started collecting, I'd have hit the jackpot...oh well, the hunt continues. And I'm not going to just pick up duplicates intent to trade, I'd just end up getting stuck with doubles...

I hit up 4 Targets, 2 TRU's, and 2 WM and there were a TON of good revision stuff available. I passed on like 3 Sunfires, a couple Bullseyes, some Hulks, a Thing with white belt/boots, a Carnage, etc...I guess everyone's passing on the old stuff and going after the new wave. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any wave 13...guess I just got lucky on Monday. Now seems to be the time to jump into the game for those of you new to it.

As often as I'm at the same Targets, Walmarts, and TRU's, I know the employees there recognize me but I can't bring myself to be a "hook up" guy...I'm just not that guy. I enjoy the hunt...I don't want to shadynize it all up. That being said, I do like get dirty and find secret employee hiding spots. I just recent found that the display signs above lift up at Toys R Us and there's usually some random stuff in there. I saw some starwars figures up there today (don't know the first thing about starwars though). Plus I almost tore down the entire shelf trying to reach up there...would'a been a great Youtube security video.

Thanks Shockwave...and everyone else that PM'd me. I appreciate the communication level that I've gotten with everyone. I have checked everyone on the trade feedback and everyone seems on the up and up. I, myself, have not yet traded, but I can assure you I will take pictures and get tracking numbers (the whole 9 yards)... Just to make it clear, currently I only have Cyclops and Wolverine available from the new wave. I would really like to trade both of them for a loose Loki (if anyone Frost Giant building is interested).
