Found these 2 at my LCS for $10 each. So now I just need the Electro. They also had full case of wave 17, but I passed because my case is on a Fed Ex truck as I write this......

Ok I have a question, I just noticed that I can not find 1 King Loki figure for sale from series 3 Thor line, not on Ebay, Amazon or even on a google search??? Did I miss something, did I luck out by buying 2 at the NYC comic con for $15 a piece?

I was doing my Christmas shopping at the mall, so I ventured into the disney store and saw marvel figurine sets, I don't know how long they have been around but I had to get the modern X-Men set, they also had Original X-men, Marvel Universe, Avengers, & Spiderman sets. Also bought 1 vinylmation Alice in wonderland figure and wound up getting the chase, which is actually selling on Ebay for about $40, on another note, I saw a place called Toyzam! and they actually had figures at decent prices, a bunch of Luke Cages though and series 1 Thor. but surprised for a store in the mall. Here's the modern X-men set
BTW the sets said $20 on the box, but they were $15 a set.

Trout, someone on here was saying they still haven't seen the white FF set at all. I don't remember who, I was just thinking I should go out and find another for them; but if you already know where to find it and want to help someone out I'm sure they'd appreciate it. It was last page, and I'm too lazy this early to go back and see who it was. Maybe after work....

Yes, $400 was only a few short weeks ago I think. And if I didn't have 6 kids myself I'd probably drop that every month easily - of course, if I didn't have kids I'd probably leave alot more toys in the package too.lol But I wouldn't trade the title of "dad" for any amount of toys.
It definitely gets expensive though. uh, collecting I mean. obviously kids are expensive. ;o)
I posted that I have never seen the FF Variant in the NYC area, I have seen the regular sets, but lately it seems all parents are buying their kids MU because all stores have gone through everything including all pegwarmers. I am a little excited for the New Year stock ups!!!! BTW if anyone can get me a FF variant please let me know

I did a little hunt today and was pissed. The Toys R Us near me, that usually has at least 15 MU figures on the pegs (and usually restocked figures never same pegwarmers) had ZERO MU single carded figures, just a couple of comic packs that have been there forever, not to mention I even noticed that the tags where the figures used to be were converted to DC Classics (DC Classics at this store are the same damn pegwarmers) it went from 3 pegs to just 1 empty peg, then i see that the Iron man section was gone and all the same pegwarming Iron Man figures are gone. Also same for Spiderman figures, So I asked the worker if they simply moved them to a different place, seemed strange, always plentyful MU figures, hes like whats Marvel Universe, I never saw those. I dont think we carry them anymore!! Which I know was crap, that store sells them constantly and they restock like 4-5 cases at a time and they never let the shelf go bare, So I guess these Christmas shoppers bought all the damn Marvel figures. of course I am only hunting because of the Electro Figure was changed!!!!! ALWAYS A CHASE........
anyone have a spare?? I know everyone wants em, also looking for the same as everyone else, Sif, Laufey & also, unlike everyone else seems that The FF Fantastic four set is an enigma around here. Anyone have an extra? I might have something you need. Hit me up.

I'm just pissed, I thought for sure I was going to walk out of there finally with the satisfaction of finally completing all the figures. I mean, I was willing to pay. Oh well...

Got my two packs in the mail. And found these bad boys at a walmart...
I cant find those 2 Packs here yet, Not even at the Comic Con today, oh except the Iron Fist Pack, but the vendor wanted 30 for it, I did get my Samuel Liquor Store Jackson Figure at Walmart last week, they had those 6" figures at the con for like 30-35 a piece.

I missed getting Vision by minutes, 2 vendors said they sold one for $40 and no others had the figure at the con.

I just went to a local comic store near me because Wed. is 10% off everything in the store. They had a bunch of new Joes and also just put out 2 cases of Wave 15, so they had 4 of each figure, the MU are $12 each and the Joes $10, being that today is 10% off Im debating on grabbing some, I have all wave 15 might pick up X23 and Darkhawk for future trades and as far as the Joes go, I dont collect them but I know a few in the store were on peoples want list. have about an hour to debate and head back. hmmmmmm......

My BBTS order came in today!!!!! had to order wave 15 also, only have seen Commander Rogers and Sub Mariner in the wild, luckily I had picked up the version with the Rex stand so I have both!!!!

So I go to Toys R Us this morning because of the buy 2 get 1 free sale, nothing on the shelves, I notice they are restocking and 3 cases of MU. The girls asks can I help you, I'm like sure, Im looking for items in these 3 cases. She gladly opens all the boxes, I was very disappointed, they were wave 14 revision cases, really nothing I needed, for the hell of it I grabbed a Ms Marvel and a Thanos. Now heres the best part, 2 old ladies come into the aisle with one sporting a cane and the other with a shopping cart, after seeing the girl restock the shelves with 3 cases she says out loud, maybe they would like some toys, so The one with the cane goes right to the MU and says "oh 3 Daredevil variants, they will like these, oh 2 Ms. Marvels and 2 Thanos, and I will grab 2 Punisher black gloves" mind you she said all this within seconds of getting to the figures, who was she kidding!!!! These women were in the late 70's easy. Staten Island is the worst, Ive seen 2 old men fight over Mcfarlane Sports Picks, they sell on ebay. How sad is it, I want these to collect and I have to battle with the geriatric ebay store. Oh and in the end she looks at me and goes, what figures did you get!!! btw I settled for a Desert Cap as my free figure.

The Dark version Daredevil from series 1, its the black version in the revision cases (I probably would have chosen an extra one of him as my free, but the women caught me off guard and had all 3 in their cart in seconds!!!!)

So I finally decide to organize a little bit and put all of my Marvel Universe together, being that over the past couple of years as soon as they were bought they were put in various boxes around my house. Well after doing this I am pissed because I realized I need a few more figures then I thought I needed!!!! which includes all variations of each figure.
I am looking for.....
Series 1:
Bullseye (Dark Version Black)
Ms. Marvel (Long Red Haired Version) Didn't even know it existed!
Spiderman #32 Regular Blue & Red Version
Series 2:
House of M Spiderman (don't know how I spaced out on figure #1)
Vision (Regular Version of course)

Well Finally a find after about a month of disappointment, I found a Cap 2 pack with Winter Soldier, first time I have seen this on the pegs, of course no single carded figures in the store, and about 100 thor series 1 and maybe about 50 Cap series 2!!!!!

It is getting harder and harder to find Marvel Universe figures in the NYC area & NJ. I recently went on vacation to Ocean city Maryland and scoped out a bunch of Walmarts and Toys R Us and about 60% of the stores did not have 1 figure, not only that all you can find on the pegs for the Thor line is series 1 and for Captain America series 1 & 2, However each store I have been in has a full row of those damn Green Lantern items and all the boxes on top of the shelves in their overstock area are all Green Lantern!!!! But seriously, NOT 1 MARVEL UNIVERSE FIGURE????? (Oh Wait they all had X-men sets, including a Flatbush Brookly Toys R Us that had all star wars figures returned in the box set!!)
