It's about time. It took about five years for them to do this and I am so there. The rings a little smaller than it should be but I'm still excited to get this.

The harsh part about Watchmen, and V for Vendetta is the fact that he's never going to own the rights to the book until they are out of print for a while, and thats never going to happen because more money can be made from it. Its a case of the artist being screwed in the a$$ just so some money can be made. Its a scary thought considering I want to be able to write for the industry myself.
I believe that's only true for V for Vendetta. That and it's called work for hire for a reason, you may never own what you work on but that doesn't mean you'll never get stop getting money for it. Moore still gets checks from AOL/Time Warner though I hear he doesn't cash them. Most writer snad artist get revenue from projects that are continually in print. It may not always be a lot of money, but still.

I figured it was only a matter of time before Disney decided to do a animated version of PotC, esspecially since they've had the designs appearing on merch since last year.

I'm hoping to see it this weekend, in IMAX even.

Between the price drop and the fact that Sony is offering five fre Blu Ray movies with the purchase of most Blu ray players (PS3 included in that) I might just have to finally get one. now if they would only get some better games out. So far nothing has blown me away.

Since I've been on a real Mario kick as of late, I want Paper Mario from N64, Super Mario RPG from SNES, Yoshi's Island from SNES and though it didn't contain Mario (and people often over look the Square RPG) Secrets Of Evermore from SNES.

Showwing my age here, but I've loved it for the last twenty years. I've found that I still love reading it and sometimes even pick up on little things I might not have noticed before. As for the movie, last I heard Zack Snyder (sp) the director of 300 was at the helm, but nothing has really happened beyond a script and some casting.

Cool more AotC clones, bring it. Now I'm really glad I didn't win that auction for the three packs of EE AotC clones a month ago. I bailed out when it got to $150, now I can get 20 clones for the price I almost paid for 12.

I think it may be just a season set of the series.

Add me to the list. Funny that I'm a big Resident Evil fan and I find one a week after RE4 is released on Wii, guess what my first game was? Other than that I got Play and Trauma Center (wife a nurse and she's loving it). Now I just gotta get a PS3. The new free 5 Blu Ray movies is making it tempting, but I think I'll hold off a while longer.

I'm really liking the way the set is shaping up to be. Sure we may not be getting 14 Mandalorians, but I wasn't to trilled about getting 14 different colored Fetts using the same Jango, Boba and Vintage Boba bodies anyway. Now if they would only do an SA Jango I would be happy.

I was not surprised that they did it, I just didn't (and still don't) see the reason for it. IMO it shows a lack of faith in having Bart become the Flash in the first place. As others have stated elsewhere, they wanted domething big to happen to the Flash family in IC and so they messd with Bart and ushered Wally away in the aftermath. Now I'm not sure in you read JLA #10, but if you did you'll understand Flash a little better and wonder what DC is thinking.

Thought about it and if that was true then he'd have no memory of Captain America since there was really no CA in the HoM Timeline (Rogers was just an old man). Also Clint went looking for Wanda to get revenge for killing him, but couldn't bring himself to do it (or atleast that's how I read it) in Avengers 26.

I could be wrong but I always understood it to be that the it still them same Clint. He was just killed and came back. Granted he could be a skrull (just kidding).

If half the rumors floating around right now are correct I have to cry "Fowl!" at Marvel. So this is how they fix everything that's they've done wrong. When was Elektra repleaced? She was never revived at that whole last Elektra series was a Skrull? Cap not dead, a Skrull died in his place? The NW's that died were Skrulls (and if so what about Speedball/Penance)? Stark a Skrull? Everyone who has died and come back with little to no explanaton is a skrull? Where does it end?

Where on ice planet hoth would there be dirt to dirty up the hoth trooper??
Damn man right now the only thing I wish from Hasbro is to knock that damn crap off with painting on dirt, because they're always ruining good figures that way.
Personally I'm tired of the removable helmet on all the troopers. Of all the new Vintage figures this and the bespin Luke are the ones I've been wait for the last three years.

I haven't pick any of this years Vintage figures yet, but was surprised to see the hood come off this figure. Looks like it could be easily costumized into a Hoth Luke figure with just some paint and a Luke head (and some light work on the lower half of the jacket).

I've seen all these figures at different stores for the last couple weeks and have yet to buy them. I know I'll wind up with all of them except for the bounty Hunters, but now I'm really torn about getting this Leia. She's looks great, but the way the neck and Head look from the side is horrible. I've seen some really bad ball jointed head in my time, but this almost takes the cake. It might just be a deal breaker for me.

Well unlike the previous Buffy comics, Whedon has written an overall art of what is happening and the "guest writers" will just be adding to it. Much like the actual TV show, Whedon didn't write everything, but he approved of it.
Now back on to the subject, I think the current series is really catching the feel of the TV show. Since I didn't really start watching it until after it went of the air, I must say I'm enjoying the heck out of it.

Typical DVD release is 16 weeks after theatrical debut. Now sometimes companies will wait longer, but four months is about right. I wouldn't expect SPidey 3 or Pirates three until October or Nov somethat they can cash in on a big release for the Christmas holiday.

Like it really matters. Within several years these "records" will have been broken and no one will really care. The only thing I find funny is how Spiderman 3 and Sony got some bad press on the budget for Spidey 3 being $300 mil when Pirates 3 cost the same amount.

Considering I never saw any of the GH figures last year I'm not really expecting to find any this year.

After several weeks of looking I finally scored my concept Fett and Obi/Arc Trooper comic pack yesterday and all the Wlamarts are starting to put out the new cases with the Concept Chewie (though I didn't get one, I'm just really digging these concept figures), but I have yet to see a concept Stormtrooper. Somebodies do some mass hoarding around where I am.
