basically the new one has translucent arms and is pretty obvious. The regular 1st edition is all solid. Some people say that the variant has 2 versions, a solid mask or a translucent mask. Either way if you see one in the stores today it's probably the variant although some people somehow found "regular" ones. There are pics in the Electro thread Ok. Thanks for the clarification. I've left two with translucent arms on shelves. I haven't noticed a translucent mask though. Something to look for. I'll try to get some of those variants for trades or something if I see more.

I'm so confused by this whole three versions of Electro thing. Can anyone help me out? Sorry if this is dumb, but I just saw another Electro at Walmart and I'd hate to pass up on one not knowing it.

Guess I picked up the new Electro Variant. I had no clue it was a variant until just now though. Have the first one, so picked this up for a friend. Guess I'll hang onto it. Also picked up revision Iron Fist.

Received Warpath, Luke Cage, and Iron Patriot from QthaGreat. Great trader, pun intended. Received the items in mint condition. Knocks my non-variant needs from series 2 and 3 down to one each (Vision and Captain Marvel).

Picked up all the new 6 inch Cap/Thor figures except Ultimate Cap. Have those and all of Wave 15 for trade. Picked up an Union Jack yesterday. Only missing a few series 1 figures now. Can't wait to find Wave 16. I didn't love the figures in 15. Is 17 the set with Storm, Psylocke, Thor, Daredevil, Iron Fist, and Patriot?

Not only possible, but relatively easy if you have the right mix of trade bait. Good point. Every thing "good" I've gotten has been too late. Destroyers, Warriors Three, Wave 15, etc. I need to branch out to GI Joe. I don't collect those, so I'd never dip into my stash.

Ahhh. It is possible to get a rare item in a trade. Found the variant last month at a Target. Was very shocked.

If anyone still needs a set or singles or Wave 15, I have them for $8 each plus shipping. Save me from having to return them.
