  1. Thats cause the date stamp was on the mold, and the molds are reuses....Kang is obviously a reissue, while Crossbones uses the body from Hulkling (with new head and wrists/hands), both of which are 2006(ish) figures.
  2. not true. they share the exact same body except for the head and arms. They don't really share much. If you look at the articulation of the hips, Fury has ball-jointed hips with a thigh swivel, and Punisher omits the thigh joint (think Black Knight or Sandman). The torso on Fury has all those straps, which Punisher lacks. The arms and head are obviously different, so the only parts they shares (if any), are his lower legs. The Straps are a separate piece. Since Punisher hasnt been released yet, i'd be willing to bet they use the exact same body (punisher was developed first, so it makes sense to think of Fury as being the 2nd use).
  3. Black Tarantula and Mac Gargan Venom (another new one)...oddly with the classic venom symbol.
  4. Since no one else has answered the other part of the question, this figure was initially planned to be part of the Hulk/Fin Fang Foom waves but was scrapped along with Valkyrie and the Red King.
  5. Yeah, theres not really many to get, unless you go for the old 5" stuff (and even then theres not a ton either). Basically gotta go the custom route (either make em or get someone else to make em.
  6. I'd say theres probably similarities to the artwork because hes always drawn pretty much the same. SMC12 Spidey is called "mcfarlane spidey" because he is sculpted very stylistically, matching the proportions and style of mcfarlane (and campell, apparently). This black Spidey is pretty generic looking, so i wouldn't attribute it to any specific artist. But thats just me.
  7. Two-pack (hasbro) by a landslide. I've never liked the one from Toy Biz, the hips make it impossible to get a natural looking standing pose....but the big thing for me has always been that god-awful face. I hate it. I really do. I always see it used on customs, and i end up slightly disliking them, no matter how good, because she's very recognizable. If i never had to see a picture of that face again, I'd be a happy man. I can't stand it....she's ugly. 'Hit ever branch in the Ugly Tree on the way down' kinda ugly. I shudder even thinking about it. I know, I know, a little extreme, but thats my opinion.
  8. Yup, as stated... Wasp's head is a Danger Girl Abbey Chase. Rogue is a DC Direct Hush series Poison Ivy. Very commonly used for rogue, and sometimes Jim Lee Jean Grey as well.
  9. Its not actually Xforce Wolverine, this black costume is based on a cover of Uncanny X-men (I think). Woulda made more sense to do his X-force costume over one that only appeared once on a cover, but what can you do.
  10. Yes, Punctuation is your friend. Yes, Sometimes people post things that noone else really cares about. Yes, Sometimes people come off idiotic and annoying. Yes, There are pre-existing threads for this sorta thing. But come on....you dont havta be an ass about it all the time. Say your peace (tactfully), point them in the right direction, and be done with it. This is supposed to be a fun place to interact with fellow fans of all ages, not to insult and belittle others. And FYI, "Visit my website" is the default link text, he was never claiming that BBTS is his site. On topic...Zemo's an OK figure, and $7 aint that bad of a deal, especially if you've never found one. Good job.
  11. Ya, as soon as you see "Gwen Stacy with IMPALED GREEN GOBLIN", its obviously not real.
  12. Obviously not all of these came from a retail store, so please enlighten us as to where each of these items came from.
  13. why what wrong with it? if it about not have spidey and wolverine on my site yet calm down im only one the m's I think he just meant that its huge :P Ie/ make it smaller.
  14. I'm in Prince George (BC) and Legends selection here sucks...I dont collect em anymore, but I still like to look, and I have very little to look at. Still got HML1 warming the pegs at Walmart, and Zellers has a single selection of HML3 that has never sold (i know because the variant marvel girl and hydra are still there after 3 months).
  15. In the thread at fwoosh, there are now pics of all 8 figures and foom. SO now that they're all accounted for, it'll be about 3 years till we see them in canada. :P
  16. Yes, those were the unproduced figures that Toybiz showed off at one of the fairs a while back. Which Hasbro then snatched up and produced (the hydra, anyway). That what you were getting at?
  17. Ya, i'm kinda curious about that as well....
  18. I dunno, I can see an organizational point to this, but its a bit of a pain, a few more pages to go through to get to the same stuff. Especially since i browse a bunch of forums at once (tabbed browsing)...take some getting used to. Anywho, wheres the option to change the skin (if there is one), cause i've always hated the black backgrounds on here...heh.
  19. The most widely recommended sculpting medium would be Apoxie Sculpt, its only available online but its great stuff to work with. I also use Green Stuff (from games workshop) for smaller details or more intricate parts, as its a bit stiffer from the get-go (whereas apoxie starts out pretty soft and hardens as you go). Green stuff should be available at a local hobby store, i got mine from the comic shop here.
  20. Thanks, that fixed it...weird, dunno how it got switched.
  21. Threads seem to be showing as the main post and then a condensed list of the posts that contribute, instead of the normal format of the threads....is this a change, an option that got screwed up, or is this just a problem on my end? I'm so confused.....lol.
