  1. Looks like you're going to be crouching a lot to attack because you're up against Marvel vs Capcom's SERVBOT! Otherwise known as 'Kobun' this diminutive little fellow is one of megaman Legends Tron Bonne's servants that whip up tasty meals and clean house. Here I've taken the one that came with the Capcom PvC Tron statue and replaced some of his leg/ankle joints, added magnetic accessories, and even scratch built his helicopter-head attachment! Servbot's knife, spatula, and pan all attach to his hands and you can plug him into a flight stand for his copter-drop attack. Check out his flaming frying pan curry attack! He's even to scale with your Marvel Legends standing only 2" tall. For more of his tiny pictures head to his page here: MvC2 Servbot!
  2. Here's a nifty custom of Metal gear Solid's Raiden with an armor-upgrade feature. He was created using the hasbro Overwatch Genji body and Revoltech Raiden head (with moving eyeball!), various armor fodder pieces, new sword blade attached to the Genji sword hilt, and a piece together combat rifle. You can customize his armor loadout and even equip him with a riot shield. Raiden was painted using Testors Metalizer Lacquers, primered with Bulldog Adhesion Promoter, and sealed with Mr Hobby Premium spray sealer. For more pics take a look at his page here: Custom Metal Gear Solid Raiden
  3. Ready for something really unique? Here's a Transformers/Marvel Legends Crossover Bludgeon! He was created using the Silver Samurai body and heavily modded helmet, Ghost Rider head, War Machine armor/forearms, TF Hoist shoulder for the backpack, Overwatch Reaper legs, KO TF Scrapper top for the shield, and some fodder parts. Bludgeon was primered with Bulldog Adhesion Promoter, sculpted sections using Aves Fixit Sculpt, hand painted, airbrushed metallic armor effects, and sealed with Mr Hobby premium Matte. His eyes are glass reflective and he has a 5mm port in his left arm. For more pics head to his page here: Pretender Bludgeon, Marvel Legends/Transformers crossover
  4. The Age of Apocalypse Holocaust (Nemesis) Build-A-Figure would have been amazing if Hasbro hadn't painted over its clear plastic with solid yellow paint! It took quire a few hours and a bottle of acetone to carefully remove the opaque paint. Fortunately I was able to restore the clear look to the armor and used Tamiya clear yellow, orange, and red to shade and add bubbles to it. The canopy was given a ball joint hinge in the back so you could spin it around out of the way and the shoulder pads were ball jointed as well for maximum poseability! I also hollowed out the weird vents of his left arm cannon and filled in those for a smoother look. For more pics head to his page here: AoA Holocaust
  5. Straight out of Shonen Jump's manga comes my newest custom, Space Adventure Cobra created in Marvel Legends scale! Classic Cobra was created from a Red Guardian body, Whirlwind lower arms, Ultron forearm, wrestling head with modded Starlord hair, and various fodder parts/belts. He comes with a removable Psychogun arm, Lady Cobra revolver, multiple hands, and cigar! For more out of this world pics, head to his page here: Space Adventure Cobra figure
  6. He's short, he's stocky, and he's the best at what he does. It's Wolverine and today I'm bringing his MvC2 sprite to life as a custom Marvel Legends figure! Wolverine was created from a Marvel universe hulk body/fists, sabertooth waist/upper legs, Masters of the Universe forearms, old ML Wolvie head with Apoxie Clay sculpted cowl, and Revoltech Wolverine lower legs/claws. Flexible boot tips were added, lots of shading and detail, along with extra range of movement added so you can pose Wolverine doing all the video game attacks like his Berserker Barrage and Weapon X specials. For a barrage of pics head to his page here: Marvel vs Capcom Wolverine
  7. When evil needs to be punished you bring in the man named for the task, the Punisher himself armed to the teeth and armored for war! This week I bring you a special version of Frank ready to take on your Legends collection all by himself. The Punisher was created using the Civil War Crossbones body, Demo man arms, Walgreens Punisher head, and Captain America lower legs. Scarlet Spider pouches were added to bulk up the arms and he was repainted head to toe with subtle shading and weathering. Punisher's arsenal includes a 50 cal, M-16, pistol, rocket launcher, shotgun, and ammo bin. Elastic web gear was added so he could store all the weapons on his body in case he needed more firepower. For a barrage of pics head to his page here: Armored Punisher Marvel Legends
  8. With the King of Wakanda gone, vaporized by the mighty Thanos, a new hero emerges to fill his clawed shoes...the White Tiger! Here I created the Hector Ayala version to fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe style by using a Civil War Black Panther base figure, Ragnarok Loki lower arms and lower legs, Killmonger hands, and a modded Superman spear/sword combo. Careful line work of grey and black was added to his all white basecoat and I created a Jade Tiger Amulet so he could get those nifty mystical powers. While I'd love to see him in Avengers Endgame as a temporary Black Panther replacement he's more likely to have shown up on the Netflix Defenders/Daredevil series....if they hadn't been cancelled. Do'h! For more purrrfect pics head to his page here: MCU White Tiger
  9. You've captured Venom, locked up your Rhino Build-a-Figure, and jailed Omega Red...but who's going to keep tabs on them? Enter the Vault Guardsman ready to join your 6" scale Marvel legends collection. This Guardsman was created using a Whirlwind body, Iron man lower arms/Legs, and a Eel head. All details were sculpted on using Aves Studio's Apoxie Clay, similar to Apoxie Sculpt but holds finer detail and sticks better to glossy surfaces. Guardsman was equipped with a repulsor blast and taser blasts to subdue inmates. Testors Aztek Airbrush acrylic metallic green was used for his armor and a mix of Games Workshop and Formula P3 paints for his lime green and shading were used. Want more pics? Then head to his page here: Custom Vault Guardsman
  10. What if the Shocker hadn't become the Vaporizer in the Spider-Man Homecoming movie and was given a chance to don his classic costume? I wondered that too and figured it was time for a fully-poseable movie style Shocker to make his...uh...shocking appearance! Ol Shocker here was created from a Star Wars Black series DJ, FO Snowtrooper lower legs, Marvel's Shocker head, backpack, and gauntlets (which happen to be the model as movie Crossbones) Dark knight Movie masters John Robin Blake police jacket, and all sorts of armor/fodder/tech bits/straps for his makeshift power pack. His gear was given the oily rusty metal treatment and finished his costume in his classic colors. Finally Warlock's energy blasts with some white bubbles made the perfect charge effect. Now Homecoming Spider-Man has someone else to battle! For some more shockingly awesome pics head here: Custom Movie Shocker
  11. An unstoppable mercenary from a dark era, Guts stands alone atop the bodies of his fallen enemies. If you've ever watched the anime or read the manga he doesn't need any more of an introduction than that, this is the Black Swordsman himself! Here I've created Guts for you in a movie-realistic look that will fit in with your 6-7" scale figures. He was created from a ML Ragnarok 2-pack Thor body, NECA Chris Redfield modded head, star wars arm fodder, Front Mission mech hand, BvS Armored Batman cape/Kylo Ren cowl, and a scratch built sword. That's right, the entire sword aside from the handle was made from cut styrene and plastic sections, you can see WIP shots on my instagram @jinsaotome. Tons of muddy, blood spalttered, rusty detail was added and Guts was sealed up with Liquitex archival matte/satin varnish. For more pics head to Guts' page here; Custom Guts the Black Swordsman --------------------------------------------------------------- Criminal scum is back on the menu boys and the Punisher is serving up a hot meal of lead and explosions! You've seen the Netflix Punisher series...well what if he was part of the Movie MCU? That's right, this week I'm brining you Shan...er, Frank Castle's comic style into the gritty limelight! Frank was created by combining the upper half of the Netflix Punisher with the lower half of Captain America, Wolverine arms, Mezco Deadpool webgear, and other fodder parts. He has a removable headband and comes with an arsenal he can wield against his foes. For more punishing pics head here: Custom MCU Movie Punisher
  12. Have you ever said to yourself, "Man I wish that One:12 collective Deadpool wasn't that 'Marvel-now-new-52-whatever version and his classic look instead, but with a shrunken down Bowen statue head?" Yeah you have and guess what, I got you fam...I mean, yes I have granted your very wish! Here I combined the harnesses and gear of a Marvel Legends Deadpool, added black cuffs and collar parts, and used a shrunken down Bowen bust head to make it happen. Parts of his suit were airbrushed and lined in with shading to add detail and Deadpool was given an assortment of weapons to get the job done. His sword sheathes were modded to cross over his back as well! For tons more pics head to the merc's page here: Custom One:12 Deadpool
  13. It was the most amazing part of Metal Gear solid for some, the moment when the Cyborg Ninja reveals himself! Armed with a razor sharp sword Gray Fox was able to take on anyone or anything in his path and here I bring him to you in Marvel legends form. The Black Panther wave Iron Man's body is almost a perfect sculpt of Fox right down to the helmet, which is just missing the mono-eye. Using Aves Apoxie Sculpt I added armor, modded the face, and added panel sections to the Iron man body. A metallic airbrushed paint job was added and alternate hands so he can wield his sword in battle. Bondic liquid UV resin was used to create a transparent eye in the helmet once I had the socket in place. For more pics head to his page here: Custom 6" Metal Gear Gray Fox
  14. Here's a figure that's been requested again and again in 6" scale, it's Rom the Space Knight! I've created this mighty robotic warrior this week to battle your cosmic villains in all his shiny glory using a movie Cyborg, beetle arms, hand sculpted Apoxie sculpt head/chest/details, and a custom space blaster. I used Rustoleum gloss black lacquer as a basecoat and airbrushed Spaz-Stix mirror chrome over every inch while the lacquer was tacky to the touch. A light gloss coat of liquitex sealed the chrome and Rom was ready to battle cosmic baddies! For more shiny pics head over to Rom's page here: Rom the Space Knight
  15. "After the battle with Thanos was over the Infinity Gems were safe with Adam Warlock and Earth's mightiest heroes were tired and battered from the battle. Using Thanos' ship's technology Tony Stark began to repair the Avengers outfits and...wait...where was Peter Parker? He had stumbled into a room with a shifting black mass that suddenly changed, displaying his very own spider-symbol! Opening the containment vessel the 'suit' latched on to him and transformed into a darker version of his current Iron-Spider uniform. It must be Stark's tech....right? Swinging off to show his best friend Ned his new duds Peter marvels at the strength and speed built into the suit, a grin forming at the corner of his mouth....and his mask." Ok, so this probably isn't going to happen in the upcoming Avengers Infinity War movie but wouldn't that be a perfect MCU Venom suit origin? I thought so and this week I bring a special concept character Infinity War Symbiote Spider-Man that can be changed into a pre-Venom form! He was created with the Infinity Wars Iron Spider body with venom modded head, squinty eye Homecoming head/fists, GI Joe plant tendrils, and modded Killmonger clawed hands. I used gloss for panels and raised sections and it took forever to detail the white spider sections on his body and inside his swivel shoulders. But it was worth it, now you have a MCU Symbiote Spiderman that has a Venom/Agent Venom vibe. For more pics head to his page here: Infinity War Symbiote Spider-Man
  16. Guardians of the Galaxy introduced Mantis to us, a naive bubbly girl...that wasn't anything like the comic character. Here I've given the MCU Mantis her comic roots including a brand new outfit! She was created using an Enchantress body, Mantis BAF head, BP Nakia lower arms/hands, Hope Summers lower legs, Darkness back spines for bra-fins, and a MTG Ciandra armor/Enchantress skirt mashup. The armor skirt is removable so he can go for a dip in the pool and you can swap between gripping or fighting hands. Two daggers were fashioned out of a bow and Mantis was given a sexy metallic paint job to get the job done. Now that's the deadly Mantis I remember from the comics! For more pics head to her page here: Custom GotG Mantis figure
  17. It's everyone's favorite homicidal robot Ultron and he's back for more punishment! Ultron never really goes away, he just upgrades himself and comes back stronger. Here I've created a battle-damaged Ultron using a Civil War Iron Man body, 3-pack Ultron head, old Toybiz Ultron lower arms, Beetle feet, and armor sections from magna-toys. Spikes were added to his back and all sorts of weathering, grime, oil splatter, and blast effects were applied to finish Ultron's look. For more pictures head to his page here: Custom Battle Damaged Ultron
  18. This week I'm bringing you another one of Spider-Man's rogue's gallery, the fiery foe Molten Man! He was created using a Toybiz Carnage base body, resculpted lower limbs with fodder hands, Sunfire belt, and old DCU Major Force head. Four-horsemen Scarabus flames were added as well as a movie Human Torch fire effect. A special mix of bronze, gold, and copper metallics were used and bright yellows/clear orange for his molten core effects were painted in. The end result was a striking look to one of Spider-Man's classic foes! For more molten pics head to his page here: Custom Molten Man --------------------------------------------------------- Need to sneak around in the shadows? Ready to put the hurt on Daredevil or that pesky Wolverine? Then bolster your ninja ranks with this Hand Ninja Temple Guard! I created this stealthy assassin to kick off a series of variant Hand Ninja to stand out from the normal sea of plain red ones. The Temple Guard was made using the movie Dr Strange Mordo body, movie Black Panther lower legs and hands, Machine man alt hands, a classic Hand Ninja head, and Sub Zero loincloth. He was painted using Testors Aztek Airbrush acrylic, Formula P3 paints, and Games Workshop metallics. Now to make some more specialized Hand Ninja... For more stealthy pics head to his page here: Custom Hand Ninja
  19. This week you're in for a treat, truly a 'dangerous toy' that you've been asking me to create. I bring you the ultimate Marvel Legends Weapon-X with real carbon steel claws and bloody rage effect! Logan was created using the retro-card Wolverine body, machine man calves/hands, Target 3-pack clear Vision feet, and a modded Toybiz Weapon-X helmet head. I styled him to look like the new statue and added all sorts of ports, straps, backpack, and hoses to complete the look. Wolverine was airbrushed with shading and highlights then sealed with Liquitex archival varnish. His claws were milled and filed from carbon steel tines then clear-coated so they don't rust. For more pics head to his page here: Custom Weapon-X Wolverine ------------------------------------------- Never a fan of manual labor Doctor Doom builds himself various Doombots suited for the task at hand. Be it conquering a nation or pouring a goblet of wine, you can usually find one of his robotic servants at the ready. Here I have Doombot Drone for your monarch to lord over! Doombot was created using the Heroes Reborn Iron Man body, Black Series Guavian's head, Ultron lower legs, and movie Ultron hands. Additional blaster hands were created using fodder parts and a machine man extendo wrist. Multiple types of airbrushed shading were used on the green armor and underbody as well. For full specs of Doombot head to its page here: Custom Doombot Drone
  20. Fear his robot head fleshy ones, it's Machine Man! Straight from the Nextwave comics series I bring you this custom Aaron Stack created in Marvel Legends form. He was created using the man-thing wave Bullseye's body/hands, Punisher coat and arms, resculpted evil Warlock head, and Aves Studios apoxie sculpt detailing. His weapon pods can be attached to his wrists and are created from lots of fodder tech-weapon parts from various lines. You can also equip Machine Man with his trademark extendo-wrists. The entire figure was airbrushed with shadows, highlights, and sealed with Liquitex archival varnish. For more pics head to Stack's page here: Machine Man ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- He's the director of SHIELD but this time he's teamed up with the Punisher for some vigilante justice, it's Nick Fury! The 1993 Punisher Arcade Game featured Nick as the player 2 character and here I created him in Marvel Legends form to scale alongside your Punisher from the retro/vintage card series of ML. Nick Fury uses the same Punisher body, modded Nick Fury head/webgear, and medium body feet. Demo man's belt/leg holster were used and various details sculpted using Aves apoxie sculpt. I originally painted his sweater a mottled brown color to match the game sprite but found the original Japanese game art depicting him in a much better looking orange and went with that, airbrushing the entire figure with shading and highlights. Add a stogie like he smokes through the entire game, even while fighting, and Nick fury was ready to fight alongside the Punisher! For more pics head to Stack's page here: Nick Fury
  21. You have an X-men collection don't you? Be it Marvel Legends, Select, 1:12 Collective, or 1/6th scale, I have the base for you! Here's a custom light-up Sentinel hand that can be used to display different action figure scales. It was created from a Rubies Iron man hand wall deco set. The foam was hollowed out and finger holes filled. An LED unit was installed along with removable plug-in wiring with a hidden switch that makes the palm blaster light up! Lots of airbushing and repainting the rock base/modding the hidden switch was the final step before this fallen Sentinel hand was finished. Now your X-men team can stand triumphant no matter their scale! For more pics of this base head here: Custom Sentinel hand base
  22. Move over Sunfire, Sunspot is burning his way into the scene! This hot-headed New Mutant was created by using a Marvel Legends UK Spiderman, Human Torch head, attaching energy bubble sections to his arms, and Shocker's seismic rings with the bubbles painted black. The deepest black and gloss coat sealer was used to get his comic look down so Sunspot could be ready to put the burn on anyone who stands in his way! For more pics of Sunspot head to his page here: Sunspot Marvel Legends ------------------------------------------- He's one cool customer, it's X-men's Iceman! Ready to put the chill on the bad guys, this Iceman was designed to fit into both your comic and movie style collections. Iceman was created using a Demo-Man body with Iceman head, arms, and lower legs grafted on. His back spikes were modded to fit against the collar and frost rings created out of the basic hex-effects. Clear blue Tamiya paint was used on his ice body then frosted with airbrush highlights. Opalescent paint was also used on the frost effects to give them a shimmering ice quality. For more pics of Iceman head to his page here: Iceman Marvel Legends ---------------------------------------------------------- Sabertooth is back and he's looking....classic! Straight from his first appearance fighting Wolverine, this Sabertooth was made with the basic large ML body, cast heads of the Toybiz Face-Off Sabertooth and cowl fur, and sculpted limb fur. He was airbrushed for shading and sealed using combinations of Liquitex matte/satin/gloss archival varnish. For more pics of classic Sabertooth head to his page here: First Appearance Sabertooth
  23. "MAGNETIC TEMPEST!!" When you heard those words in the Marvel vs Capcom game you knew you were about to lose someone to the fastest character in the game, Magneto! Here I've created a MvC2 styled Magneto to fit in with your Marvel legends collection and he comes with all the bells and whistles! Magneto's base body is all Wonder Man with sculpted armor and detail with a cast Helmet. Magnetic tempest effects are random parts attached to a pair of removable hands. Two different hand sets were added, open Spidey palms and Wonder Man's closed fists with repainted energy effects that were perfect for Magneto's ingame power effects. He hovers using a modded Tamiashii crater base and Figma stand! For full pics head to his page here: MvC Magneto Marvel Legends ------------------------------------ They're infectious, deadly, and spawning thousands of vile aliens to create their armies, it's the BROOD! A nasty foe of the X-men and cosmic Marvel characters, this week I've created a flying Brood Warrior to add to your ranks! This nasty xeno was created using a MechaX4 Chameleo-Wasp base, spawn demon tail tendrils, modded Toybiz Brood head, Preometheus Trilobyte tails, and tube critters crab parts. A BAF Annihilus shoulder was used to create the neck joint and the whole figure was airbrushed with different shading and highlights. For even more pics head to its page here: Flying Brood Warrior figure
  24. The diminutive but powerful Micronauts are back and as promised I have another custom, the mighty Acroyear! If you remember I created Membros and Time Traveler before. Well Acroyear is scaled to be a 'BAF' of sorts to this line. Standing 8" tall the Acroyear was created from a warlock series Colossus, Armored Core robot lower legs, sculpted chest/shoulders, Kryptonian armor Superman head, Energon Shockblast cannon part for antenna, Titans Return Transformers Laser Prime Sword, Beetle backpack and House of M Wolverine flight backpack fans. A vintage paint job was applied with plenty of metallic gloss effects, and shading to really make the detail pop on this classic Micronauts character! For more pics of this micro warrior head here: Micronauts Acroyear
  25. He's half man, half tank, but all attitude! Here's the evil mutant, well cyborg, Bonebreaker! You may remember him from the vintage toybiz Xmen line and here he is in Marvel Legends form. I went with a modern look for him instead of the 80's look here giving him all sorts of weaponry. Bonebreaker's upper body is comprised of a basic medium ML body, movie juggernaut head, Fantomex hands, and TMNT baxter stockman robot-head body along with some hoses. His lower tank is a combination of a Terminator tank, MARS treads, Transformers, Halo, GI Joe, Spawn, and probably every other toy line fodder part that looked the part. Bonebreaker can aim his Gatling gun cannon around and the twin-barreld one on the other side moves as well. Roll him and his upper body swivels back and forth to aim at his enemies! For more pics head to his page here: Custom ML Bonebreaker
