I'm not against having Razorback or Human Fly (they're obviously easy to do figures) but seriously where's my Stingray? Or Namorita?  Or Dr. Druid? Any of the Eternals in their comic outfits? My remaining Thunderbolts?

Yeah, I agree they need to complete teams. Riot and Agony will complete the Life Foundation which is great. They need to complete the Jim Lee X-Men team and give us Jim Lee Banshee. I do not consider them complete till we get him. The same with Giant Size X-Men, we need a Banshee there as well. I am not even bothering with New Warriors because I know it will take years to finish that team. Rachel Summers should be announced this year in my opinion to complete Excalibur but I am not holding my breath.

  2. Just throwing out my two cents, Inflation and rising gas prices are a big player in all of this. I feel if Marvel Legends is to survive because people are not going to be able to afford this hobby on a mass scale then BAF will become a thing of the past and you will see 7 to 6 figure waves drop to somewhere like 3 or 4 figure waves. It will be a business decision and we will not see very many waves each year like we been seeing. I know people are going to argue with this logic but its what I see in the near future.

I’m still stuck in hesitation mode on ordering this Mojo set. Could take the price in easier if they added a few actual X babies instead of this 1 kids meal Wolverine but.. whatever. And really hope they got the ball rollin on Spiral now. I can see them giving her the build-a-figure treatment this time but gosh I hope not.

I am sure Spiral is on her way. Its just a matter of when. She is on alot of wish lists and Hasbro knows it.

Yeah in terms of the people saying, yeah don't buy that overpriced Mojo box set because they will just re-release him another way for potentially cheaper down the road, I don't know if I think thats a given, like people have Said look at the case of MODOK or even Surtur, those figures didn't do to well as single releases and got the priced knocked down, they might or wait not might have seen the numbers and could or will say this is it for Mojo, because the more obscure yet wanted to the dorks like us, but not everyone else, figures just might bog up mass retail, I'm currently still on board with biting the bullet on the price for a Mojo and Longshot (Dazzler W/e, but I do like the figure) it is what is is at this point. I'd be bummed out if I didn't get a Mojo and Longshot for the best price I could at the time.

Also came in to say that I ended up pre-ordering MCU Sharon Carter, and thought it would be cool to say why, because that body would be an excellent Mary Jane body! and I thought that the head would be a better head for the Comic Sharon Carter since at least this new head looks generic enough but nice, and that original head for the comic sharon is looking pretty dated these days.

If you really want it that badly, then I say buy it. Don't let anybody stop you unless you are strapped for money and need to worry about other expenses. Me, myself I want just Longshot and Dazzler. Longshot mostly just to add to my X shelf and that just leaves Banshee and Rachel Summers on my want list. I hope those are not going to be in any future sets or whatever. I did pre-order the set but still kinda iffy about going through with it. Rising gas prices and such, stupid inflation.

I am a recovering completionist, and I must say Hasbro is making it easier and easier to slide into that Cherry Picker mindset. The last few years, a ton of delayed movie and D+ projects forced ML to push up a lot of comic based products so it was kinda tough on the pocket book. But now they're clearly playing catch up, but I'm enjoying the break.

Not for a long time have I been compelled to complete any particular wave. The last wave I bought any figures I didn't want was the Hyde wave, cuz I just had to have that Hyde. The Eternals came and stayed on the shelves forever but I never had a compulsion to buy even one of them. Had no interest in Rintrah (he was in the movie for what, 5 seconds?), so I cherry picked that wave. Have no interest in Korg, armored Thor looks ridiculous and Starlord is super small so I'll probably pick up Jane Thor and be done with it. The Hawkeye figs are pretty cool but assuming the rest of the figures will come from the Moon Knight show, which contained minimal amounts of actual Moon Knight, I'm gonna assume I'll get off easy on the rest of the wave. As for the BP Legacy figures, I got everything I wanted during the first go-round. The Spidey movie product? They do look good and maybe five years ago you woulda had me, but I'm over it now.

Now I'm just counting the days till I can build my Bonebreaker and Controller BAF's and see how the rest of the year pans out. Still finding it hard not to get disappointed every time Hasbro has a lackluster reveal event, but I'm actually starting to find a lot of comfort in the reveals of all the product I get to save my money by not purchasing.

I kinda want Bonebreaker but only wanted Syrin in that wave and I got her not long ago. If the prices were back to what they used to be then I would try and pick up that wave but now days I am like thats ok.............

Anybody else hearing rumors about Target phasing out MLs from stores?  I noticed that the there were no SKU tags for MLs in the toy aisle at my last visit to my local Target, but thought maybe it was just temporary. They did have a few MoM figures on a random endcap (not the Marvel endcap elsewhere that has Funkos and the Defender Strange tag) as well as eternals in clearance section. Anyhow i heard other stores have completed resets but without skus for MLs and again leftover MLs put on random endcap

My Target has cleared out their Legends as well. No Thor Love and Thunder wave at all. I do know what the deal is.

Yeah like I said though, I do want that Venom anyways, so it's not a problem they come together, it's just sorta the price here in Canada this is 114.99 , so that means each of these figure is about 57 bucks..not sure if I agree with that pricing, they may be big figures but they don't seem like real deluxes IMO, but whatever...tis life with inflation.

Yeah, I have to be real picky with the prices being what they are. I wish I could grab everything but I can not. That Venom looks sick...........

Yeah wow Knull is really quite tall, they did a great job on that scale, I'm excited about this 2 pack, I'm really digging the venom, I had to pull the trigger on this, do I wish Knull was singled packed yes, but would I just have also bought that venom yes, so I guess it doesn't matter they came in a 2 pack.

You could get Knull by himself on Dorkside Toys for 20 bucks just by himself because Dorkside decided to sell these individual. Knull is sold out though.

you may be right.  I do recall the Giant-Man wave being a mix of comics and mcu (with Cap, Black Panther, and i think Iron Man being the mcu figures, along with the BAF)  but can't remember what wave preceded it.  They did not do an all mcu wave afterwards to my recollection though.

I had to go back and relook at the ML Civil War waves,

    Wave One was comic based.

Wave Two was a mixture and not a complete movie wave like I thought.

    Wave Three about the same.

I would have liked them to do a one wave comic based Thor wave released first giving us Skurge and maybe the warriors three. Then give us this movie wave as a follow up wave 2.

when were those days? can't remember that happening during hasbro's ML run.  My recollection is that movies waves were always a mix of movie and comic figures, until they starting experimenting with all-mcu waves starting with Black Panther wave 2, then Endgame wave 3, followed by some D+ waves and now Thor L & T.

If I remember correctly I think it was with Captain America Civil War.

Its impossible to please everyone, but it does seem that the consensus here is they could've picked way better figures to make the wave. Comic accurate Beta Ray Bill and the fan favorite Sif from years ago would really have bumped up this wave, or maybe a comic accurate Executioner.  Did they ever do an MCU first appearance Thor (the one time he wore his helmet)? I'm still waiting on how they work in Warriors Three. Bottom line is, once again I see that the fans have better ideas than anything else. Or, Hasbro, look at it this way...we're saying "Take My Money". If you listen to us, that is.

I liked how they used to do movie waves with wave one being based off the comics then we would get a movie based wave two and then a mixture in wave three. Hasbro has gone to s..t in recent years.
