  1. I understand why people are complaining, perhaps I was to general in my last post. They could have added the legs, they went the other way, probably for costs reasons, what I don’t understand is why when there is a figure like this Cannonball that doesn’t meet all of the expectations, we (as collectors) tend to minimize what Hasbro has been doing all this time, we are getting a lot of characters, improvements and new ones, and they don’t seem to be ending any time soon. This is great for us!

  2. All the figures look great! Cannonball coming without legs and only with the power effect it’s perfect for me, it is a great way to pose him.

    Really surprise about Wendigo!

Nightcrawler and his 3 heads are really cool!

Sinister, Wolverine and Guardian are great updates for the old figures and Boom Boom end up looking excellent.

Really cool package with the X-Force, Uncanny X-Force and Alpha Flight logos.

From the looks of it, they are doing what you suggested. Instead of "X-Men" and "Uncanny X-Men," the titles are called "House of X" and "Power of X." This relaunch is cutting the entirety of the X-books to only two titles. They're even ending tangential spin-offs like X-Force. As for Hickman, he isn't my favorite writer either, but I can see that his return to Marvel after four years is something big. I think it even shows the level of trust they're putting on this project that the two books have rather odd names like "House of X" and "Power of X" instead of anything more much more marketable.

House of X and Powers of X will run for 6 issues each every two weeks, we will get 12 issues in total, THEN we will get the relaunch, with different titles, and Hickman will write the flagship title, I expect it to be Uncanny X-Men.

I've been doing the exact same thing.  A lot of them are major upgrades, but some have been tough to actually sell for personal connection sake.  I ended up selling my ToyBiz Beast in a lot on ebay to fund my purchase of the Caliban wave one, but I still miss that figure.

That’s what I’m doing to, it’s a little harder here in Ecuador though

Here are some loose shots!  I didn’t take Blink out of the package because I ended up selling her in the package minus the BAF on eBay.  I just wasn’t interested in hanging onto her.

The whole wave is amazing but Gambit, Beast, and Jubilee are the major standouts as expected.  With that said the Weapon X is by far my favorite from the wave (obvious, I know).  Gambit is a whole new torso and Jubilee is pretty much an entirely new figure.  Skullbuster is a straight repaint with a new jacket.  All the way to the spot for the flag and hole in the chest for a tube on the torso.

Caliban is a figure I had no desire for at all, but after putting him together, he is fantastic.  He will be a cool sidekick for my Apocalypse BAF.

I love this wave!  Would be an instant buy for me.  Ahab is a figure that I have a lot of love for since he was one of my favorites as a kid from the ToyBiz line.  But a very selfish part of me would rather see him on one of those vintage cards.  Great wave though!

There are two figures left to be revealed for the vintage wave, maybe he is one of them, and he’s been prominent recently in comics!!
