  1. Has no one noticed that the figure is significantly smaller than the confirmed figure right next to it?

They are both Titan Hero figures but the head on the confirmed red/gold suit one on the right is at least 50% bigger then the "Tobye" one, and the shoulders on red/gold nearly touch the sides of the package while "Tobye" has plenty of room to rattle around.

Didn't know they were making a Thanoscopter toy.  Hilarious!

I actually saw one yesterday in-store and it's smaller than I thought - it's one of those mini RC helicopters that can fit in the palm of your hand. Someone on Reddit posted a pic which I'll attach here.

Also, one of my local Duane Reades (Walgreens) on the UWS of Manhattan got a tote yesterday with an Emma Frost and a couple of the new Funko Spidey Pops, so if you're in NYC and still need her you might want to make the rounds this week. Still no sign of Dani Moonstone although every single Duane Reades has an empty shelf slot for "Walgreens Exclusive Mr Fantastic".

  3. Yesterday was early access for Pulse members. The stock they set aside for early access sold out quickly but there should be more going up for the general public today. 2019 SDCC items have been going up around noon EST (or in the case of yesterday a few minutes before noon), so be ready - good luck!

  4. I'd bought dupes of some recent harder to find figures after they restocked a few times on Amazon in case I wanted to build a second BAF in the future when the more common figures from the wave go on sale, but I'm scaling back a bit on the amount of ML I'm purchasing. So, rather than return them or scalp them on eBay I figured I'd see if anyone here still needs them. Prices reflect the retail price I paid for them on Amazon plus NYC 8.875% sales tax. Shipping cost will vary by location and number wanted, and I'm happy to do a local pickup in Manhattan.

    • Professor X ($44) (*My* Prof X rode a wheelchair not a hoverchair!)

    • Red Goblin ($22)

    • Silver Sable ($22)

    • Omega Red ($22)

    • Bishop ($22)

    • Black Knight ($22) (remembered I had him after I took the pic)

PM me with wants and shipping zip code if interested. Thanks

  5. EDIT: OK, he's sold out now (5 min after I posted) but keep checking. I usually do a quick 30 second search for ML at Amazon 2 or 3 times a day and I see him pop up every couple of days.

    ------------------------

Keep checking Amazon. He's available on their site now but you need to click on "see all offers" as he's not exactly in stock but available to ship in 1 - 2 days

lol nice. I have been thinking about making a thread dedicated to breaking down ALL releases by ALL categories, from 2014-current as we just celebrated the 5 year anniversary of the Legends Infinite Series relaunch recently. I have all the data on my own personal inventory but I wouldn’t just be able to copy/paste it 1 for 1 as it would need some revising to be clearer/more concise for the thread. It would take me a long time to do but I want to do it some day.

Speaking of what you wrote in the other thread, that sounds about right but I am pretty sure, for example, that I spent way more than $2250 completing all the Legends for 2018 lol and when I was last talking to a buddy in December 2018 and recapping the years releases over some beers, I want to say that with BAFs Included, 2018 produced 137 figures.

I usually refer to Tarot's "official list" thread when I'm looking for info on occasion, but another view of the info would also be nice if you ever find the time! (I also have my own spreadsheet but I really only have the main line BAF case assortments and my own inventory in it.)

As far as numbers go, you're right - I intentionally didn't count BAFs as I was looking at costs and in theory those are "free".  And I'm right there with you on spending more than the baseline as I've already bought 2 Endgame 2-packs for bodies to go with those extra heads, a second Silver Sable for the Lilandra Shi'ar head from Mystique, etc! :-0

Just in case anyone might find this info useful, I’ve came into information regarding the pricing of the 80th assortment.

The 3 single carded figures will again be priced at $25 each and the majority of the 2packs will be $50 so not much change from the MCU10th pricing. However, the Juggernaut/Colossus Set as well as the Wolverine/Hulk Set will be priced at $60 each.

Thanks for the confirmation - that's what I assumed. That means the bill for ML completionists this year will run around $2,250!

  8. Two for me... I'd been on an ML break for a while and was traveling for work when I randomly stopped in a Target. To my surprise I found the whole Warlock X-Men wave which Hasbro released to Target before Walmart, online, etc. For better or worse, that got me back into ML again.

Second surprise was at the same mall while traveling again and stopping into the TRU Express there in their final days.  Found half a dozen MCU Vision / Scarlet Witch 2-packs at 10% off! Grabbed one for myself and one for a fellow collector. Had no clue at the time those would be so hard to find later.

69 figures confirmed for release this year [2015]! Counting up releases from 2014, there were 37 figures released. 2013 produced 42 figures. 2012 produced 32.

If you average the amount of figures released over the previous three years (with the launch/return of Marvel Legends in 2012), they average to 37 figures released per year. The releases during 2015 NEARLY DOUBLE that number. 74 would be doubling it, and we are just 5 figures shy of that, so if anything announced at SDCC comes out by December, then they could very well double the annual average. And I didn't count Black Ant or first appearance Daredevil cause their release date wasn't clear.

Best year to be an ML collector EVER?!

Found this old thread and thought it would be worth resurrecting... From the whopping (lol) 69 figures in 2015, if you use the 2019 ML shopping list round-up over at another site, 2019 is shaping up to include around 105 figures!

    In more detail:

    • 60 mainline figures spread across 9 BAF waves (assumes some unannounced figures to round out waves, plus a third 6-figure Avengers wave late in the year)
    • 17 80th Anniversary figures spread across 7 2-packs and 3 individual figures
    • 6 Vintage carded figures (4 announced plus 2 unannounced to round out the wave)
    • 3 Ultimate Riders
    • 10 figures in 5 2-Packs
    • 3 figures in 1 3-Pack
    • 6 individual exclusive figures

And note that this doesn't include anything for SDCC or other unannounced surprises.

Now in case you're wondering, if you use a $19.99 price point for most figures, and a $24.99 price point for the 80th Anniversary figures (like the 10th anniversary figures, and with adjustments for Juggernaut & Hulk), the total bill for 2019 comes to around $2,250(!!!). Of course it will cost you more if you want multiples of things like the Hawkeye / Black Widow 2-pack for bodies to go with the extra heads, or less if you're a comic-only or MCU-only shopper.

    Plan your budget accordingly!
