  1. Come on Blue Marvel. If they can make some of these other figures, would love a Blue Marvel figure
  2. Hasbro is killing the game right now...just hope it doesn't "Funko POP!" itself out...collectors only have so much money...
  3. Yeah, got my notification from BBTS that my Wave 2 is in! Time to pack up that Pile Of Loot and ship it!
  4. Sorry for the camera pic I just picked a few at random. We have John Stewart from DC Universe Classics, Iron Patriot from Iron Man 3 Legends, Simon Baz Green Lantern from DC Collectibles, and Iron Man Mark VI from Marvel Select. I think maybe the closest match to Marvel Legends would be DC Universe Classics...they both are pretty articulated. DC Collectibles is close, just not as articulated.
  5. I think so. I'll have to take some size comparison pics tonight and post them for you...
  6. To be honest, I think they are advertised as the 6.5" scale. Slightly bigger than Legends, but smaller than Marvel Select. DC Collectible figures could still work, but some figures don't have enough articulation to pose in action shots with. They have just recently increased their articulation in their figures since DC Universe Classics were cancelled.
  7. I've seen several people in other forums mention finding DCM figures on the wrong cards. Azrael on Mr. Freeze's card and vice versa seem to be most common. So I've been a collector for quite some time and back in the day a misprinted package was like a big find, sort of like an unintentional variant. It was especially big with Baseball and Basketball cards. Is that not the case now? I'm not finding anything on value. I kind of remembering it being a big deal but I don't think notsomuch these days. I was one of the ones who ordered the figures from Amazon and received a Mr. Freeze on an Azrael card. I kept it, but don't find so much value in it as it is so easy nowadays for people to "fake" an unintentional variant. Even if I know mine is genuine.
  8. I wouldn't say that. They did the same thing for the longest time in the Marvel Universe 3.75" line. Three of them (Bulldozer, Thunderball, Piledriver) came out in the comic packs and we all had to wait a little bit until they released Wrecker in a single pack. I think Bulldozer will eventually be released, just don't know when or how...
  9. I don't like the guessing game (sorry, it's just me, I like to be pleasantly surprised), but if I were to play, I would have guessed either the Women of X-Men or the Phoenix 5, both mentioned by thedevilsdue06... I think the Phoenix 5 would be a set that would be perfectly unique for a Comic Con, but would sit around if released at retail.
  10. Picked up a Wasp at Target. Also noticed that one of the revision cases coming up will have two Wasps per case, so could be a potential peg warmer in a couple of months...
  11. I'm about done with idiots who repack and return the wrong action figure and the idiots that try to sell if for eBay thinking that it was an actual mistake. The boxes only make it easier for people to pull this crap now.
  12. I don't understand why Hasbro can't be like Playmates. Those guys can keep a third of an aisle full of TMNT action figures and you can most likely find what you want in one or two stops. These are being constantly restocked too. Marvel is a bigger franchise than TMNT. They really need to market themselves better. Put a commercial or two out...at least on Youtube or something. Drum up some interest.
  13. Off topic, but if anyone is interested in the Game of Thrones 6" line, bn.com is now shipping...I know they are about to show up everywhere soon. You only have to pay for tax if you get two or more (shipping free over $25).
  14. I always disagreed with giving Hulk armor but the look has grown on me. I never thought about the "armor" aspect of it...it was always the additional benefits that it gave Hulk. I saw it more as a "tech suit" or "tech accessories" more than armor...Sort of like a World War Hulk in reverse...
  15. Picked up a Black Widow and Winter Soldier at Target...hopefully I can pick up another one so I can build another Mandroid and trade/sell the extra Widow....
  16. Yeah, I'm about a year behind in reading comics...just for clarification (not that anyone really cares) Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman is on the Avengers in her Red and Gold costume. Julia Carpenter, who was the Spider-Woman in the Black and White suit (and later went by Arachne) is now Madame Web. Anya Corazon now wears the Black and White and goes by Spider-Girl. @Jason - Man, you had me f'in laughing out loud at work with your comment...people think I'm crazy
  17. Yeah, if you can afford it, I think this is the way to go. I figure if I find another one out in the wild, then I can have two Mandroids. If not, at least I'll have one. Shelf space is at a premium right now.
  18. Thanks, I didn't know the difference. I collect the toys but don't read the comics. Well, that makes sense, and I can respect that. I guess I mistakenly assumed that people who collect the figures collect or read the comics as well, and I admit my ignorance on that part. Sometimes people just want to enjoy a nice action figure.
  19. Not to call yall out or anything, but besides being off-topic, it's Spider-Girl, not Spider-Woman. I know it's a little thing and we all know what you're talking about, but to me it's like calling Superboy "Superman". Just saying...You know we're all Marvel fans, I just want you to be sure you know who you're buying.
  20. Just got a notice that last MU case came in at BBTS....soooooo, we all betting on Northstar?
  21. Found a Toxin at Target...and just like my Spidergirl, the box was beat up all to hell. Do you think some vindictive collector is doing this on purpose?
  22. We could never judge a fellow collector...much. But come on stitch, it is IRON MAN! Those things are going to be choking the pegs by the end of the summer...but I understand. I got all of the Iron Man Assemblers after they dropped down to $5. At $10, pretty ridiculous, but at $5, good enough to put in my own little "House Party" display.
  23. I only have room for two on my shelves...I can't imagine having 7 hanging out, but it would make for a pretty nice diorama.
  24. Thanks, got the Daenerys Targaryen this morning at my local B&N. They didn't have any of the others in stock, but she was the only one I wanted anyway. I'm shocked they even had that one. She's the one packed the most. though. followed by snow. the rest are all even assortments. I had one lady laugh for even asking if they had them. apparently they're selling like crazy. I was able to search for them online and check in store inventory. Most have been sold out, there were some others about 20 miles from me. What's the case breakdown? What mass retail's cases will be I am unsure of. B&N are getting them in on shippers that include them as well as pop vinyl. 4 tyrion, 4 white walker, 4 ned stark, 4 hound, 6 snow, 8 dany Hmmmmm, no wonder I was able to get a Jon Snow and Dany from online. I had a hound in the order, but they oversold and canceled that part of the order. Haven't opened them yet...B&N only had a 30 day exclusive on them. When are they going to start offering them at other retail?
  25. Checked out target just because, found AIM soldier, then looked down and found Spider-Girl crushed...don't know what happened, but happy to find her and looking for a Toxin soon...
