  1. that was a great price. I got the majority of mine from Kmart when they had them for $2.50 over the holidays, so you definitely beat me!
  2. Well, that was quick...seems like I just ordered this Tuesday night!
  3. I didn't collect for a long time because I was working on some of my debt. Now that that's in control (sort of), I missed out on years of figures. I regret missing a lot of the TRU 2-packs and Deadpool and Ghost Rider (w/motorcycle) in general.
  4. I don't know what's worse...that someone had the balls to put this crap out - or that they have sold 36 of them.
  5. I hate seeing crap like this on Ebay... http://www.ebay.com/itm/7-The-Avengers-Mar...#ht_4908wt_1163
  6. Just checking Toys R Us Philippines prices, you're better off buying here unless you get a discount or a hard to find figure. Avengers figures at Toys R Us convert to about $13 US. The light-up bases come up to about $28. Not worth it at all.
  7. I'm guessing by the time they dress it up with accessories (guns, battle gear, etc) it'll probably look more badass...remember, the promo pic was:
  8. BBTS just put up a pre-order for a new Barbarian Hulk figure...Great Sculpt! Down side is, it isn't expected until December...but that's good cause I don't know if I could afford it anyway!
  9. Preorders have come through on the major toy sites: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/search....vel+2012+series http://www.entertainmentearth.com/prodinfo...umber=HMV78230T http://www.toywiz.com/mu3342011.html Some say July, some say August, so we'll most likely see them in brick and mortar stores around August/September timeframe
  10. Has anyone else noticed there are no holes on the bottom of the movie Spider-Man feet? I just opened my super articulated Spider-Man and wanted to pose him on one of my stands and couldn't. Plus, he has different hands than what is shown on the card.
  11. Out of the seven Walmarts I checked, go figure, they were at the last one I go to. I started out by finding just Iron Man, Thor, and Loki on the peg. I shrug and think, well, it's a start. I walk further down the aisle and there is a Captain America not in the right place. So I get to thinking, I wonder if Hulk and Hawkeye are around. Long story short, someone hid them behind some stuff and I got the whole set. I also picked up an Alfred from the Batman line because they are going to need a Jarvis and he's not too far off... I'm still debating whether or not to pick up the complete 3.75" Avengers since I picked up Black Widow and Hawkeye the other day. Do I really need them in every size? By the way, this is the same and only Walmart of the seven that had the Thor and Captain America 6" exclusives also...none of the others ever stocked them and I'm wondering if they will stock these 6" exclusives as well...
  12. Here goes my haul from yesterday...I was lucky enough to catch the Walmart girl putting up new figures and I was able to get an Avengers Black Widow and Hawkeye. (No Sif stories for me this time round).
  13. The distribution reminds me of the Avengers distribution. I found the Lizard and super poseable SpiderMan (plus the Concept Movie figures) at Walmart, while at Toys R Us, I only saw the comic series figures. My haul to come... (after I sneak them in past the wife)...
  14. It's funny you said this because I was going to mention this the other day. Target originally had GI Joes i for $7.99 then increased it to $10.99 in most places. Lowering them down to $7.68 is NOT A CLEARANCE! That is back to original price!! I'm also tired of Walmart and Target knocking $1-$2 dollars off and calling something a clearance when it is just a PRICE REDUCTION. Call it like it is. Then my Walmart has the audacity to INCREASE the clearance price on some of their items. A clearance Iron Man 2 figure went from $3 to $5....what the hell happened their? I'm tired of these pricing games...
  15. BBTS just put up a revision case for order on their website to come out tentatively in August 2011... http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product...amp;mode=retail
  16. What about a Marvel Select Ares! That would make a lot of people happy...including me
  17. Yeah, I have to agree, that Rhino is badass....I wish I didn't see that because now I want him and have to wait. I'm also trying to figure out how I'm going to display my Marvel Select figures...
  18. Thanks tyhifive, that's good to know. Now I have to think if it would be worth making a trip out to the Disney Store today...
  19. Congrats! My wife and I are having a little girl in July (first for me!)!!!
  20. Let me check my areas bro and I'll grab you movie Thor and Cap if I see them. They had them on clearance around here for 7.50 cents. I literally bought 5 Nick Fury's to use one with my 6 inch Avengers Team, my Marvel Select Avengers Team and the other three for customs. I grabbed my boy on here Jormungand a World War 2 Cap, Movie Cap and movie Thor. If I see anymore I'll grab them for you and you can just pay me what they cost and shipping. I can even send them opened to save you shipping cost. Last I saw them was in Paris, TN...
  21. Do what Clam? Me and Riddick planned the whole thing just to keep everyone on their toes... :)
  22. Crap, they have a Disney Store at Opry Mills now? Dammit, that place has been crowded since it opened back up and I have been avoiding it like the plague...Now I'm going to have to drive past there every now and then and pop in...
  23. Found a full case of series 2 at the Disney Store priced at !7.99 each This was the variant case that included madam mask, big time spidey, black wrecking crew member (sorry I don't know his name), no mask Dark Wolverine FYI, his name is Thunderball.... http://www.blackactionfigure.com/?p=586
  24. It's funny how easy it is for you all to accept everything else in this movie...Black Nick Fury (Ultimate Nick Fury), Mark Ruffalo playing the Hulk (instead of Edward Norton), Chris 'The Human Torch' Evans playing Captain America, an "ultimate" looking Hawkeye.... But when it comes to alien races, it is hard for you to accept that they have used the Chitauri (or whoever they turn out to be) instead of the Kree or Skrulls. They take liberties in movies. We need to accept it and move on. There are licensing issues and backstory issues, etc., which makes this a better move. I still believe this will be a really great movie, so let's all sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!
