  1. I know the xmen retro wave is going up on Hasbro Pulse today, but will it go up on on retailers today as well? Later? They didn’t say that it was a Pulse Exclusive. Also, I’m now really torn on cancelling that super expensive SDCC Mojo set. I really like the paint on the boxed set Mojo and love the Dazzler, but dang, I like the Single carded Longshot.
  2. That Mojo needs some serious paint apps. The boxed convention set has a lot more paint (if the renders and prototype are to be believed.)
  3. I’m not a giant Ghost Rider fan in general. I like him as a background character. I will admit, though, this is a sweet looking figure and car. I’m way more excited about seeing the Marvel Legends version than I have ever been about seeing artwork of this car. $350 is way more than I would pay for this though. I thought the Sentinel was a overpriced at $300 for what it was. I certainly don’t think that this set is better than the Sentinel. I kind of think - a nice Hot Toys MCU figure is $100 less than this car and figure. That’s kind of staggering. I personally think the Hot Toys figures are better than this car and figure. I still go back to you could buy two of the Transformers Scorponok figures at retail and have money left over for what this set will cost you. I can factor in demand and cost to manufacture and inflation and all of those things. Still, it seems slightly high to me. Depends on how many figures end up being included. I wish they would just show everything and see if people will fund it.
  4. Trapster is at the top of my want list at this point, followed by the comic version of Ghost. I think that is definitely the Orb’s gun.
  5. I’m going to go against the grain and guess that it’s a role play item. I think it will be a GhostRider mask with lights, burning ambient sound, articulated jaw, and maybe a voice changer. While the Marvel Legends Brand already does helmets, something like a GhostRider mask would be much more expensive to produce and have less of an appeal as say...a Clonetrooper helmet. Here are two random pics I pulled from Google.
  6. Whew, this didn’t go so well on my end. Missed Spider-man and Cosmos from Transformers. Got a Lizard. I’ll keep watching, I’m hoping these might come back up. Doubt it for Cosmos, though.
  7. Neither for me. The Blackbird would be gigantic and ultimately it’s just a plane. While FFF is cool, he’s never been one of my favorite characters. I’d like a playset of some type. A Danger Room would be awesome! I can imagine all kinds of killer attachments. Or a building exterior (similar to NECA’s). That would have crossover usage with other six inch figure lines. I’d still like to see a HasLab that is an entire team of figures. My vote is the Mutant Liberation Front. Start with maybe seven figures and others would be unlocks. Because I don’t think that there is a chance of us ever getting the complete MLF over the course of years of single figure releases. Currently we have one (Stryfe). The Acolytes are another team. Imperial Guard also.
  8. Awesome! I’ll probably pick that up for the Spider-Man shelf. $28 for a 6in scale vehicle? That’s cheaper than some 6in Marvel Legends figures.
  9. This is exciting news! I was afraid that Disney would neglect classic POTA. I’m thrilled to hear we may be getting some new adventures!
  10. I would have loved a mid-drift Dazzler with the short hair or a Jim Lee era Dazzler in this set. Still, this Dazzler isn’t bad.
  11. That’s funny! I’m happy to have the figure. The Faceoff version doesn’t really fit in anymore.
  12. Awesome! I just ordered mine through the app. For some reason it wouldn’t let me ship to store. The website normally does.
  13. Thanks. I just ordered him! Whew! This was a rough day. I picked up the Mojo Set (I’m a huge Dazzler and Longshot fan), two Toei Spider-man (one for the Spidey collection and one to play with at work), and Bag-Man. I ended up passing on Firelord and WarMachine. I like that War Machine, but not enough at these prices.
  14. Probably the best discussion of the art “reference” is here I have personally never found his art to be that interesting, all of his faces and poses seem out of place for the situation they are in.
  15. After some trying I got it in my cart but it was gone before I could checkout. I’m going to keep checking and hope it comes back in stock online. Otherwise, it’s going to be a hunt in the stores.
  16. What a weird live stream. I really like Ryan, but he was totally distracted today. Dwight was awesome as always. They showed a lot, but I think we already knew just about everything (just not what it looked like). No Toad reveal? That’s why I tuned in. I’ll probably get 2 of Quake for Shield, Speedball for New Warriors (although I think the head looks strange, US Agent, and I’m debating on that Madam Hydra. The old one was ugly, but the hair on this new one is just bizarre. If it’s at the $25 price point, I don’t think it’s hardly worth it. She either needed a second head or a hooded cloak. I might get the Controller on the secondary market. Not digging the Thor and Ironman designs and I have no idea who Blue Marvel is. I have the Toy Biz Rhino. I know it’s not as articulated as this new one, but it’s just not that different in my opinion. I’m going to have to think about it. ill pick up Future Foundation Spidey - I collect all of the Spidey variants. Pass on animated stuff and Disney + stuff. Was hoping for talk about army builders and restocks of army builders.
  17. Probably just Siryn, Havok and Bonebrraker on the secondary market for me. I have never liked how Professor X was portrayed in the Deadly Genesis miniseries, so Vulcan and Darwin are out. I gave up on X-Men comics before that version of Wolverine appeared, so I have no connection. I would have bought that Sabertooth, but the head is just too offputting. At the current cost of these figures, I’ll stick with the Toybiz ML of him. I don’t love or hate Maggot. I enjoyed Madeireira’s X- Men (and I can’t remember if Maggot was around for Joe Kelly and Steve Seagle’s fun work on X-Men), but neither is enough to make me want the character on my shelf. Siryn has been needed for a while. I’ve always thought Havok was an under appreciated character and this outfit really needed up update from the Toy Biz version. Bonebreaker because...we’ll, the Reavers are an awesome villain team as we need more X-Men villains.
  18. A nice job once again by Hot Toys, but an easy pass due to a really boring character design in my opinion. What we need is an Hot Toy announcement for a Kate Bishop figure from the Disney+ Hawkeye series.
  19. Perhaps we will finally get a Team X Wolverine. I’d totally be on board for that. Albert is another Wolverine variant we could use, especially if he came with ElseDee. There isn’t a Marvel Legends of Wolverine in the Fang uniform either (even though I’m not a huge fan). I’m hoping for a first appearance Havok. The Walmart Exclusive Toy Biz Marvel Legends version really isn’t cutting it. Also, why hasn’t Hasbro done A convention boxed set of Uncanny X-Men 275 (the training uniforms). Psylocke, Storm, Wolverine, Gambit, Banshee, and Jubilee. (We already have Forge)
  20. Those are some fantastic looking figures. I really wish they had put a realistic head on Captain Carter, instead of the animated version. I’m wondering if the animated look was mandated for all What If products.
