I'm pretty sure you are only the second person EVER to do a Dreadknight in this scale. (I'm the first) Good work sir.
Hey, Toy Biz did a Dreadknight in the mid 90's Iron Man cartoon line!

I was watching the order status of MU figures at my local Wal-Mart. About 3 weeks ago their Telzon scanner showed 24 and then a week later 36 figures on order. Today I go in and it was only the recent Red Hulk, Iron Patriot, Ronin revision wave. Good lord, this year has been so awful!

Nice Super-Patriot! Any plans for Right and Left-Winger?
Ha, yes! The oil tank charred version! Just kidding.
Thanks for all of the comments everyone! I am working on a Crossbones custom. The Ron Lim styled Crossbones. It'll be a while before he's done.

don't we all, brother. don't we all.
Anyone near one of those "Ollies" or whatever the store is called want to hook up some fellow boardies with King Loki, King Laufey, and if it's available a Heimdall too? We don't have those stores where I am, so if someone can find one of those cheap Thor waves for cost plus shipping I'd be immensely happy with you. ;o)
If my area Ollie's can be used as an assortment guide, Ollie's stores probably are not getting in the harder to find figures but what do I know?!

Hi all! I thought I'd share a few photos of my Marvel's Super-Patriot custom I recently finished.
Recipie:
Marvel Universe Gladiator - Torso, Legs & Hands
GI Joe 25th Ann. Copperhead - Upper Arms
GI Joe Rise of Cobra Night Adder - Forearms
GI Joe Resolute Duke - Head with Fixit Sculpt Custom Mask, Resin Casted
.

The Dollar General Joe's are not 1 case per store! At least not yet. I visited 7 DG stores in my area and only 2 of them had a few. Just yesterday I showed a clerk a cell photo of the packaging at a store about 7 miles away and she said she has never seen those!

That yelling Hulk face sculpt is great! Too bad I can't buy him packaged at retail like that!

Did any one else pick up the larger (6-6.5") Avenger movie Hulk with the squeezy leg and roaring mouth action? It has zero leg articulation but it's in perfect scale with the 3.75" figures. It's also a MUCH better sculpt.
The classic Hulk is only 8 feet tall in the Marvel Universe. Obviously he is taller (and gets taller) in the movies and in modern comic portrayals. Unfortunately, good old things tend to change!

My local Wally worlds/Targets/TRU have had the same crap on the shelves for weeks now! When the heck do these stores start to fully restock with new merchandise? I'm tired of wasting gas driving around & seeing the same s^%$ on the pegs day in day out! I know that if I resort to ordering online, the very next day the pegs will be full of new stuff!
Like others have said here, the lack of product after the holidays happens every year. Some retailers do inventory and aisle resets so it wouldn't make sense to receive a deluge of product during that time. If you really want to save time & gas then resume your hunt in early March.

Came home empty handed again. My Target and TRU suck ass. Neither have restocked since mid November.....and i keep missing the online stock.
Except for a few lucky stores and toy lines, stores don't generally start really restocking after Christmas until at least the end of January or at some point in February. Hell, you may not start to see stuff for some lines until March, especially non-Star Wars Hasbro items due to the 3-D Menace push!

Guardian - I love the metallic red paint but once again the wash is kinda terrible.
When Guardian was first released some could be found with a soft airbrush-like gray spray-op. Soon the solid gray samples started showing up and now the wash looks even more annoying. Glad I bought an earlier one.
I also like the original head sculpt they were going to use for Guardian, better. Check-out his cardback!

I bought a clear forearmed version at Target on Saturday.
Saw two full revision cases at Target. Seems like target is getting regular electro and Wal-Mart is getting the variant.0 -
My local Wally (Upstate NY) has that Ultimate Gift Set. The clear Cap shield is ok, but since you can see right through it the mold supports are visible for the shield "straps". It's kinda too visible. The characters are too bright in color (like an 80's comic) for my tastes!

I spotted leftovers from the variant Electro wave at the Wal-Mart in Vestal, NY.
Electro, Thing, Hulk & Guardian were gone but I could tell from X-23, Rogers, solid Strange & Constrictor that it was the revision wave.
This is the first case this Wal-Mart put out in 12 months, no exaggeration!

I imagine you will just have to start painting over. Try using Testors brand "Dull Cote" spray for finished pieces.

One of the GI Joe movie Storm Shadow figures had a high coat collar as well, but not that exact one.

Yeah, I'm having flashes of Ripley and all of those prisoners in Alien 3.
The shampoo and super needle comb can help de-louse long hair! A co-worker just had this happen to his daughter & wife.

Tooooo big... but track down the 90 Hulk line Wendigo and he's perfect.
There is a 6-inch Sasquatch in the Toy Biz: Alpha Flight sub-line from around 1999/2000!

regular Absorbing man!
DAMN! it's the Astral Strange thing all over again.
Jeez, all I want from this wave is the dark granite Absorbing Man. I hope this isn't the way it goes down!

It's actually appropriate scale also.
Well, for the movies it may be in scale, but the classic Hulk is only 8 feet tall in the comics (Official Marvel Handbooks). In the last decade or two artist tend to make him as large as a house!

Cool custom, Spoons! I love the debris, the background and the out of focus pics, too!

Are you removing that Pitt head completely? I'll take it if you don't want it!
