  1. When it comes to action figures of characters that can turn invisible, or cloak, I've never really like the final products of said characters in their invisible/cloaked form. There's just way too much detail and physical features on the outside that's visible. Plus, you can see the joint connections, seems and everything else on the inside. I'd rather have a solid, visible figure for when the characters aren't invisible, and just use my imagination without a figure for when they are invisible.

If they insist on making "invisible" figures, they could at least make them smooth, without any features, so you could see through them better.

Phasing figures, those that are half visible/half invisible, are even a bigger waste of money than "invisible" ones. There you have a figure of a character as he/she appears for maybe a second.

I've hated every attempt to make a cloaked Predator. They have yet to make one that's movie accurate, in which, you see the outline of the body, with distortion waves within distortion waves within distortion waves.

  2. Most of mine are X-Men related:

    Polaris & Havok

    Stryfe & Ruby

    Layla Miller & Multiple Man

    Monet & Multiple Man

    Siryn & Multiple Man

    Guido & Wolfsbane

Latveria champ wins men's Olympic BMX gold medal

    Associated Press

    Aug. 21, 2008, 9:55PM

BEIJING - World champion Doombot Maris Strombergs of Latveria has won the gold medal in men's BMX cycling, holding off American stars Mike Day and Donny Robinson for the title.

Doombot took control from the start and remained in the lead the whole way Friday, claiming the first-ever Olympic men's BMX gold. Latveria's ruler, Dr. Victor von Doom, praised his Doombots accomplishment.

This is Latveria's second medal for the 2008 Olympics. The other is a bronze won by Doombot Scerbatihs Viktors in Men's +105kg Weightlifting.

Mike Day - who dominated the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds - won the silver and Donny Robinson the bronze for the United States. Captain America is rolling in his grave.

Seriously, though, all joking aside, I think we should start a petition to get Latvia to add an "er" to their name. Who's with me?

  4. Don't forget about this Angel from the X-Men Series: http://marvellegends.net/XMen/X3-2Angel.jpg

For whatever reason you are asking this question, just go with the ones you find most aesthetically pleasing.

I prefer using the following two:

    ML10AngelVariant.jpgXM01Angel.jpg

For me, the red/white suit says "demon" instead of "Angel".

The paint applications on the second Archangel doesn't look as intimidating as the first.

Where can you buy that angel on that web site you posted?

I dont have one and I want one.

They've been gone from retail, for a while, now. All I can say is try Ebay, comic book shops, or secondary market toy dealers.

  6. xmenstorm1 don't pretend you JUST saw that episode. I bet you watch it everyday, which is the reason why you have been requesting Sauron since day 1. Same thing with Callisto and the Shadow King, they are all characters that are tied to Storm in the animated series. Like I said in your previous thread; I am ASTONISHED that you haven't requested a Mjnari figure. Sauron will come "don't get your panties in a bunch" - Logan to STORM in opening of X3

i like what you did their lol.....

that was the first ever x men cartoon i ever watched and its what has got me hooked on storm x men and marvel so i thank it really and yes i have watched it before lol, but a mjnari figure hmmm not yet i dony think hehe, but i odnt see why not a garok sauron and shodowking?

im waiting on an x men origins storm movie then she will get her own wave OMG!!!! lol im only joking.

Don't forget Spyke, her nephew in X-Men: Evolution.

  7. The future in collectibles is going full 1:1 scale, via the human cloning process. Then, please, start by producing the following:

    35n24y8.jpg

    >Video of The Marvel/Disguise Fashion Show<

A line of collectibles like these would open up the possibility for fans/collectors to produce their own original characters, as well.

Yeah, you'll see the same basic message and pic twice. I have it twice because it's my sig, and I wanted those that have sigs blocked to be able to see it.

  8. I want most of the ones you suggested, but I'd have them packed differently:

    Vulcan & Gladiator

    Deathbird & Lilandra

Lady Deathstrike (X2: Kelly Hu) & Patch Logan

    Deadpool & Cyber

    Daken & X-23

    Wild Thing & Sabreclaw

Agent Zero & Maverick (Yeah, I know they're the same guy.)

    Polaris & Havok

    Layla Miller & Multiple Man

    Monet & Multiple Man

    Siryn & Multiple Man

    Guido & Wolfsbane

    Feral & Wild Child

    Warpath & Hepzibah

    Morph & Blink

    Rockslide & Dust

    Firestar & Sunfire

    Jubilee & Meltdown Boom-Boom Boomer

    Mimic & Copycat

    Mystique & Destiny

    Rogue & Nightcrawler

  9. WHAT???? These figures are going to be the same size as you GI joes doesn't that make you happy? Who needs BAF waves when you can have your Marvel figures battle you Joes! You know because that is such a great idea and they are so evenly matched it will be awesome!!!!! YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh...

    BBBBBBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHhhhhhhhhh

That's true. Who needs BAFs or articulation or detail or characters we don't have yet who are compatable with our already existing collections and our various other toys we've got in the 6 inch scale? They can fight our G.I. Joes! That in itself is worth trading all those other things! Hell, even if we don't collect G.I. Joes it's worth it! Oh, and vehicles too. Seriously, Spiderman spends so much time flying jets and captaining submarines in every medium he's ever been portrayed in that it's about time we finally got to recreate that in our figure displays. Oh happy day!

I assume you were being sarcastic as well, but even if you weren't, you did get me to chuckle

Hey, don't forget that G.I. Joe and COBRA are Legendary Marvel characters. That's where they started. J. Jonah Jameson and one other character I can't remember even crossed over onto their pages. Plus, Marvel even printed the first issues of STAR WARS making them Legendary Marvel characters, as well. At last, the circle is complete.

  10. i think that this would be a ok topic if this were a chat room. thats why i think most of these threads get made..you know, like when you see something and you say "hell no!...did you see that!"....too bad...its not a chat..sorry.

If tformers.com has a chatroom at the top of their forums we should have one, as well.

  11. I'm hoping and praying FuryFiles is a 3.75" line.

Cool Toy Review: Seeing as the Marvel Legends have been getting movie characters in the main line (particularly from X3,) will we see other movie characters like Elektra?

Hasbro: Now that the major X3 characters are complete, we don't currently have any plans for other movie inspired characters in the classic Marvel Legends line.

Dang, I really want a Kelly Hu as Yuriko Oyama/Lady Deathstrike, from X2, Marvel Legend Figure.

  12. I saw them at my Wal-Mart as well. I passed on Shocker the first time, and I passed on him again. I won't buy him til he has elbow joints. If Hasbro doesn't make a Legend type figure of Shocker with elbow joints I'm gonna start throwing elbows.

Then i guess you'll never have one.Think about it,if hasbro had any intention of releasing theyre own version of shocker they wouldn't have rereleased the toybiz version. You won't see a different version, its this or nothing. I have the original toybiz one and its really a cool fig.If you don't get it then its your losse. :P

    So be it.

  13. Geez, whatever happened to watching tv/movies just for escapist entertainment?

What purpose does it serve to overanalyze and critique a made for tv sci-fi movie in that manner?

It's not Shakespeare, nor does it pretend to be.

If I can have a few laughs and get lost in some action and forget about the real world, then, that's a good movie.

  14. Cool, but doesn't sound like they are going to fight (I didnt watch the trailer just read the description). I wonder if they will mesh well as I don't think Jackie Chan is at his best in a serious movie and I dont think Jet Li's element is comedy.

The trailer shows them fighting each other. Don't know over what, since, they seem to be allies. They might just be fighting to see whose Gung-Fu is better.

Every great comedy has a straight man for the comedian to play off.

  15. Oh, it's on again, tomorrow night, Saturday the 23rd, 9 pm-8 Central.

You have to ask why did it suck?????

    LOL!

C'mon man, its Knight Rider--NBC's answer to "My Mother, the Car"--just call it "My Bodyguard, the Car".

Except, instead of Jerry Van Dyke, you got David Hasselhoff.

The original Knight Rider was 7 tons of dumb, with lots of stupid leftover--and add in the acting style ( can you really call what he does....."acting"???) of the Hoff........maaaaan, its bad tv writ large.

How does the car defeat people?

The only way the car can!

By doing a fishtail spin-out and knocking nitwits over with a side-panel, or "clotheslining" other imbeciles with a flung-open door.

    ROTFLMAO!

    Has anything changed?

My Gawd, and we think TV is bad today!!????

The show was 44 minutes of bunny fluff, chock full of silly ideas, bad science, and horrid, HORRID formula-TV writing.

The ONLY redeeming thing about the original was Patricia Macpherson and her looks--and that, sadly is not saying much.

When they make an updated movie based on something this dumb, all they are doing is updating the dumb.

Trust me on this, you didn't miss a thing.

So, I take it you didn't watch it, then?

I got three of my male co-workers, ranging in age from 22-mid 30's, to watch it, and all three thought it was pretty good. One said, "It was surprisingly good," and can't wait til the fall when it becomes a series. Plus, my wife liked it.
