  1. Yesterday I picked up a scarlet spider for 6.99 at target, got my first complete baf (mojo) on saturday "perfectly in scale with mu". Today I got a helmetless juggernaut, blastaar variant and flame on human torch in the mail. on another note I would really like to get a gigantic battles frost giant, death mask archangel, and ms. marvel (dark reign variant) if anyone had these help me out and inbox me.

  2. Picked up Jubilee for $14 at my comic store. Fine with paying the markup since I get a nice discount on comics off the cover price each week and the guy who runs the shop is awesome. Also picked up a bunch of My Little Pony comics, Adventure Time 10, and Doctor Who 1.

You shouldn't tell people you read my little pony my, friend.

One should not criticize another member.

It was a joke obviously. there is a such thing as a sense of humor dude, calm down. Be comfortable with you comicuality.

Hopefully no one sees this as anything other than harmlessly joking I'm not trying to have this excessively blown out of proportion please.

  4. Wound up buying 2 figures off of ebay I got a carded guardsman for 3.50$ and a crimson dynamo for 9$ not to bummed about that at all. Also was the first time I bought anything off ebay for almost a year. Also found a Sunfire with a perfect paint app last night so I snagged it. I have had no luck finding wave 21 *blastaar wave anywhere or a fantastic four clear sue storm team pack, so if anyone comes across a extra bag man, blastaar or ff team pack please hook it up!

  5. thanks guys, here's what my choices look like

Steve Rogers is obviously too scrawny, but was thinking it could look good with bulked up upper thighs. I tried mixing different thighs with the lower legs but nothing matched up.

I felt like the cable legs looked great but almost too proportional, but the more strong guy pictures i see the more I think they would be fine.

Gladiators legs I felt worked ok

Those pant legs look cool too

    Edit.

after doing lots of picture browsing I'm leaning towards cable's legs. Doesn't look like he's drawn so out of proportion as he was in the 90's.

The cable / tigershark legs look awesome on him. Can't wait to see the finished version.

  6. Looking good D. I'd go w/ the larger Wonderman legs. They look more stable than the Comm. Rogers legs. Of course if you're going for how he looked when fighting WW Hulk then Luke Cage legs will work.

I'd say use cables legs. Where he is misproportioned due to learning to control his powers he still is pretty tall if I'm not mistaking.

  7. Today while shipping at a place called Marcs here I'm columbus I happened to walk through their toy isle and saw spider man line figures for 4$ I looked through what they had and only saw a bunch of absurd spider mans so I turned down a isle to continue shopping and boom I found both target exclusive cap line comic packs for 5.99$ a piece. So I am pretty stoked to finally have a bucky cap and rogers cap on those bucks. Also stoked about the alternative crossbones also. Awesome 12$ spent.

  8. um, what was there to report? I mean, saying everybody was "tripping" was out of line but nothing to report. It wasn't all THAT bad.

Or did I incite a worse tirade that got deleted before I saw it? If that's the case, I apologize for escalating things. I was intending to let him know that it wasn't polite, but perhaps I was too strong and just made it worse. Oh well.

Let's be careful not to scare off the newbs, even if they sometimes come across as know-it-all or something. It'd be nice to expand the customer base and possibly see even more new stuff because it's profitable to Hasbro. If we make people quit then it'll be harder to get Hasbro to make Masterworks and other crap we expect.

Besides, it's just good to be nice.

People just need to relax. I haven't even been on here a year but I didn't appreciate the fact that he was belittling members. I have argued with people on here and have disagreed with their views or theories but, I'm not going to put people who share a common interest down on their views. people just need to take this site for what it's worth and have fun with it. Also I hope I'm no longer a noob.

  9. I expect the prices on these guys to start to drop dramatically after Christmas. It looks like this wave will hit in decent numbers. And given it is hitting right around the holidays, stores should get it in bulk. And since the new figures are 2 per case, shouldn't be too hard to find any of them.

Thats wishful thinking man, Retail stores still do not order a lot of MU, they order more of the movie crap, I guarantee nothing is going to change, it hasnt before and its not going to now,

do you work for hasbro or something? Because everything someone has said something you quickly debunk it. But everything everyone else has said seems pretty dead on to past distribution and I have found everything released in retail for over a year now. All walmarts, meijers, and targets in my area have kept up in stock and getting these off the pegs. I always know that about 6 weeks after initial sitings I will find them everywhere if I hunt after they put out freight. so calm down little homie.
