  1. Saw some Marvel Legends in the wild today just Klaw, Stealth Iron Man, and Constrictor! Only two I interested in is Hope and Constrictor (got Constrictor a few days ago). Also i really wanted a Sabretooth figure so i bought the Wolvering First Class two pack at toys r us today. If anyone else is looking for that 2 pack they have about 6 more of them but they're 18.99!
  2. I back you on Mr. Sinister and Gambit! My only gripe is how small the Gambit figure is they should have made him a little taller.
  3. Big Shocker there, Target toy aisles have been poached to almost extinction around me... Same here. I live next to Target and stop by a few times a week and nothing new since Christmas. Then yesterday I see a display up by one of the cash registers that has MU figures. Nothing good was left but I wonder how long I had been missing that. I posted a couple weeks ago letting people know that targets got marvel universe shippers and that they were putting them on a end cap in toys or by a register! they had 2 of each figure of the new line and some random figures.
  4. It's weird that there are as many psylocke figures as any other figure when they ship the new wave. the disney store i go to has 4 of them the last time i checked! Also i was thinking about picking one up and repainting it in the x-force colors.
  5. alright no one likes a bragger.lol (or is it braggert? whatever) nice finds. You need to post some pictures of that sentinel army you're building. sounds killer. I'd respond but I'm actually at another Walmart paying for 2 more clearance Sentinels at the register.... hands full of Sentinel.... Have you even thought of sharing the hook up yet? I mean i am beyond jealous lol. I have found 2 walmarts in columbus with a lot of clearance but no sentinels. was able to pick up a few skrull soldiers, 2 packs and 3 packs for about 50% off. I need more sentinels well one more.
  6. Meijer has Marvel Legends now! My dude was going to grab Constrictor for me but i won him on ebay a few days ago. also bought the Sentry / Spider-Man double pack today but i sanded filed Sentry's lipstick of.
  7. Found/bought a Iron Patriot *regular version* today. Also won a Marvel Legends Constrictor last night on ebay. :)
  8. Picked up the Destroyer from the thor line and Astonishing Wolverine! Was hunting for constrictor at toys r us but i kept getting the run around. :(
  9. I love the Silver Samurai figure! I am just not the biggest fan of the wolverine! And I'm not complaining at all i mean you can buy the 3 packs for 9$ which is as much as a single figure in most stores, but all they have is The Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 pack. Would only want the Rocket Raccoon figure and Groot Pack in. They are having a 50% off sale that includes the clearance items so I will probably grab a few of those packs! If someone finds the Future Foundation one i will pay cost and shipping when it drops to 4.50 next week.
  10. went to walmart and gave in on buying the Silver Samurai 2 pack for 7$ and a second Skrull Soldier for 4$! I will go again the middle of next after the prices cut by another 50% and pick up the Sentry 2 pack so i can be one step closer to completing my Dark Avengers.
  11. Wife bought me the Gambit / Mr. Sinister 2 pack today with my comics. So stoked to get my X-Force Archangel from it as well.
  12. Anyone in Columbus, Ohio or around the area Polaris Mall's Disney store got the new series in and has 4x of each figure. Also wen't to 2 toys r us', Disney Store, Kroger, KMart (i dont think they carry the line anymore) and a Target and didn't spend a single penny!
  13. I'm feeling the full effect of jealousy! But congrats dude, those are some awesome finds.
  14. Definitely blows! But the cost of plastic just increased so you know that companies will take advantage of that.
  15. Ultimate Mjolnir looks to much like Stormbreaker! Never was a fan Ultimate Thor, or even the Ultimate universe in general.
  16. Wife picked up the Infinity Gauntlet Thanos / Warlock 2 pack my comic shop put on hold for me! and today i bought a A.I.M. and Skrull Soldier from walmart at 5$ a piece there are 1 more of each there still so i wll probably get them next time im there! Saw the Avengers / Marvel New area but nothing was put out yet.
  17. If that's true, all you have to do is buy the last 3 or 4, and return them in a day or two when they restock from the back. (Though I suspect that's not entirely true). There's also some endcaps which commemorate the release of the Avengers movie toys that are supposedly showing up at various Targets. The apparent street date for the Avengers movie toys is Feb 27th. I argued with a target floor manager about it for a half an hour! the night before they let me pull figures from their stock then the next day he told me that target has a very serious collectible toy policy I thought he was just being a lazy prick, but asked two other targets floor manager and they said the same exact thing but they were willing to make their customers happy and don't mind checking for figures in the back. Wouldn't post something about a person or anything else unless otherwise confirmed by multiple parties. No, their toy policy states that quantities of SOME collectibles may be limited to "assure an adequate supply" for other customers. So it's not a strict rule since "some" isn't defined by the corporation as a whole but left up to (mostly lazy) local employees to determine. And it doesn't say they won't get more from the back or only keep certain amounts on the shelves. Only that you may be limited in what you are allowed to buy. They do that with their supposedly great sales on sodas too though. They do have a policy. But it's not as stated to you and I think many employees either don't know exactly what it is or just use the existence of "a policy" to enhance their own laziness. Sad but true. Our local store literally hadn't sold more than 2 figures in well over 6 months. They didn't know where their stock was located. Someone screwed up and somehow removed something from the back room inventory without actually putting it out on the shelves. Which is why we suddenly had some revision case from series two with a few series one figures in it. Their inventory must still be way off though unless someone got there ahead of me and bought some really old htf figures from the boxes those came out of. I'm just hoping that they'll finally get some reorders; though I don't know why since I already ordered the latest MU from BBTS for a little bit less per fig. Strict enough that the manager said he can lose his job over it, and asked me who sold them to me "not a snitch"! But like i said in a earlier post that most managers do what is needed to make a customer happy. 3 stores all together saying the same thing on their policy makes me think there is some truth about it. Unless there is a GM or Floor Manager in this forum that says otherwise, I'm going to go by what i was told. But anyways I hope your stores mishap get's fixed, because that is weird that their system says they sold more than what they have on the floor without being fixed for 6 months. Marvel Universe figures are considered collectibles I know this because when i did Loss Prevention for Kmart when we had them in stock we had to inventory them, dc universe, hot wheels, star wars, wwe, and beyblades weekly. but if we had it in the back it was for sale as long as it was moved to the floor on a rmu first. Anyways hope you find some new stuff soon. I'm taking a break and doing my first custom soon, since i have had a hot streak and purchased over 50 figures in 2 months.

  19. That thing sure looks shiny! Mine is much duller of a paint app. I wonder if there are two different paint apps at retail or if your pic just makes it look really silvery. Mine is definitel metallic looking, but a much duller gray in some areas up to that shiny silver in others. Anywho. Had to pick up some groceries at Target and they reset the entire toy department about 150 ft from where it used to be. They're converting to a "super" target supposedly. Well, during the move they seemed to have discovered some of the MU that have been showing up in their inventory without ever being on the pegs. There was stuff from series one and two with the most pitiful looking packaging I've ever seen. One Iron Man figure from series one was so warped and faded looking I almost thought it was something new.lol I was like "wow, check out the new design over there! oh wait, that's just a really faded old figure" So nothing new. But perhaps that crap will get clearanced or something and they'll finally get a new batch in. Oh, and it's still only about 15 figs out of the 40 they show in stock. sheesh! Just found out that targets system tells them how many MU figures to put out and won't allow them to put them out until they sale a certain amount on pegs! unless it's promotional. one store here has 44 figures in stock and 3 on the pegs. and another has 30 in stock and 4 on the pegs (same 4 figures for the last 2 months) They have some odd collectible rule that i never knew of until this week.
  20. Target raised their prices on MU single packs ($8.99) and comic packs ($17.99). As far as I can tell, it's a company-wide price increase. Wal-Mart has done the same. Sign of the times, man... They are doing the same at Walmart now as well.
  21. Yeah, life is always good to the new collector...wait until you get like most of us waiting for that next hit to come and coming up short....that's when you truly know you're on this "Plastic Crack" Yep. What he said. The PC can be a cruel mistress Know what you mean since I just had to wait 2 months almost to get the last wave released! It sucks that I have found the majority of figures i want in almost 2 months and now im already itching for the Beta Ray Bill from the next wave :(
  22. Came up on Dark Hawkeye today! Since Bullseye is by far my favorite Villain / Character this has officially became my new favorite figure. Also won the Green Hulk from the 2 pack on ebay. Life is good!
  23. Welcome! You'd do really well picking up those $5 AIM and Skrull Soldiers and selling them to the guys over on ToyArk. A lot of those guys are looking to army build at the moment. AIM soldiers are of particular interest, and are getting more and more sparse as we march forward in the Marvel Universe series. Seriously, if you mention that you have access to $5 AIM soldiers over there, people will be contacting you very quickly. :) I will look into this thanks for the heads up!
  24. Heads up the new line of Marvel Universe Action Figures come in a display shipper! I found one today at a Target! This one was located on a end cap at a registers so keep your eyes open on the front of the store. Also saw the Thor Destroyer and passed also passed on a Venom from the Spider-Man line and a Imperius Rex figure stand variant. Todays Buys Cival War 2 Pack - *Goliath / Clone Thor at Walmart. Skaar - At Target. Have wanted him for a while now but was holding out on the Son Of Hulk variant but gave in. Plus both Clone Thor and Skaar are now Dark Avengers so im stoked on that. *Am going to sell Goliath so if anyone on the board wants dibs before i put it on ebay let me know*
